Warnings:
Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed may result in electrical shock and/or serious injury.
- Electrical Shock Hazard. This is not an insulated tool. Contact with live circuits can result in severe injury or death.
- Wear eye protection when using this tool. Failure to wear eye protection can result in serious injury from flying debris.
Caution:
- Do not add extensions to the handles. Excessive force can result in injury or damage to the tool. Do not exceed the capacity of the tool.
- Inspect the tool prior to use. Replace worn, damaged or missing components. Damaged or improperly assembled tools can break.
- Use the tool as intended by the manufacturer. Use other than described in the operating instructions can result in personal injury or damage to the tool.
- Do not use on heavier than 20 gauge mild steel.
- Reed Stud Punches are intended to punch round holes in 20 gauge steel studs as well as sheet steel 20 gauge or thinner. The punch requires 80 pounds of force or less to punch at rated capacity. Inspect the tool and the material should one require excessive force.
Operation
Position the punch on the metal stud. Press the handles together. Continue to
press the handles together until the slug falls free.
