INDICATIONS FOR USE
The Idaho Jones Moxi Portable Breast Pump with Silicone 360 Fit Flange
Technology is a suction device intended to express and collect milk from a
lactating person’s breasts.
It’s one of the few breast pumps with integrated silicone flanges for ultimate
pumping comfort and breast milk output.
This pump is intended for a single user.
Important Safety Information
Read this user guide carefully before using your breast pump.
Save the user guide for future reference.
Failure to follow the instructions and safety information included in this
guide can lead to danger from the device.
- When using any electrical products, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
- Read all instructions before using.
- This product is intended for personal use and for one user only.
- Use by more than one person may present a health risk.
- Do not use the pump motor while bathing, showering or swimming
- Do not reach for the pump motor if it has fallen into water.
- Immediately unplug from electrical outlet.
- Do not place or drop the pump motor into water or other liquid.
- Do not spray or pour liquid directly on to the pump motor.
- Do not place or store the pump motor where it can fall or be pulled into a sink or tub.
- Never use while sleeping or when drowsy.
- Do not drop or insert any object into any opening of the pump unit.
- Do not use this product if it is broken or any parts are missing.
- Close supervision is necessary when this product is used near children.
- Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, dropped into water, or if any parts are broken or missing.
- Do not place the pump near any appliances generating a strong magnetic field.
Make sure all parts are assembled correctly before pumping.
- This product should never be left unattended when plugged in.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
- Always unplug electrical product immediately after use.
- Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual.
- Do not allow small children or pets to play with the pump unit, AC adapter, etc.
- Do not operate where aerosol spray products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
Caution:
If pumping is uncomfortable or causing pain, turn the unit off, break the seal
between the breast and breast shield with your finger and remove the breast
shield from your breast. If irritation or discomfort occurs, discontinue use
and consult your lactation consultant.

Cleaning
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Disassemble all parts and put the pump motor aside.
- Wash all silicone and plastic parts in warm soapy water.
- Rinse well with clean water.
- Submerge all parts in a pot of water and boil for no longer than 3 minutes.
- Use a large pot to prevent parts from touching sides or the bottom of pot.
- Shake off excess water and air-dry on a dedicated rack or clean cloth.
- DO NOT let the pump motor come in contact with water. If you want to clean them, you can wipe them with a clean, damp cloth.
AFTER EACH USE
- Put the pump motor aside.
- Disassemble all other parts (collection cup, silicone breast shield, insert, valve, valve base and membrane).
- Rinse with cold clean water soon after use.
- Wash in warm soapy water.
- Valves section of the flanges can be cleaned by gently rubbing between fingers (do not use brush).
- Rinse well.
- Shake off excess water and air-dry on a dedicated rack or clean cloth.
- Do not wash parts in the dishwasher.
HOW TO SANITIZE
- Follow the cleaning instructions for “after each use” above.
- Use UV or cold water sterilization.
x DO NOT steam sterilize or boil after the first time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure that all parts are totally dry prior to use.
Wet or damp parts can cause poor suction.
CLEANING THE TUBING
- Since the Idaho Jones Moxi Pump has a closed system, it is not necessary to clean the tubing.
- If you see moisture in the tubes after pumping:
0 Remove the tubes from the breast shields
0 Turn on the pump for a few minutes until the moisture is gone.
How to Assemble

Assemble the breast shield kit: Insert the soft silicone flange into the breast shield. Ensure the valve is securely attached to the breast shield at the top.

Assembling the diaphragm: Press the silicone diaphragm down with your fingers so it’s flush with the top of the breast shield. Place the diaphragm cap on with the hole for the tubing insert positioned slightly to the right. Twist the cap to the left until it’s tightly in place.

Assembling the bottle and base: Twist the bottle to secure the breast shield kit on to the bottle.
Place the bottle on the bottle stand, if using. -
Connecting to the pump: Connect one end of the tubing to the diaphragm cap and the other end to the pump unit. Please make sure that both ends are attached securely. Failure to do so might affect the suction of the pump.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to pump on one side only, close the other air vent on the pump unit with the attached cover.

How to Pump
Powering the Pump
Your Moxi Pump can be operated either by using its in-built Lithium on battery
or by using the provided AC adapter.
If using the pump with its battery power:
- Make sure that the battery is fully charged before use.
- The Battery Power Indicator ‘ ” will provide a real-time display of your battery status.
- When the battery power runs out, the Indicator “ ” will flash.
NOTE: When fully charged, the battery can last for around three 30-minute
pumping session.
If using the pump with the AC adapter:
- The in-built battery of the pump will be charging while you are still pumping.
- The Battery Power Indicator ‘ ” will provide a real-time display of your battery charging status.
Getting Started
- Make sure your pump is fully charged if using the battery power or is plugged in to the power outlet if you are using the AC adapter.
- Attach 360 Fit Flange to your breast so that the nipple is centered and aligned straight toward the silicone cushion of the breast shield.
- Make sure your breast completely fills the breast shield so that a vacuum is formed and no air escapes.
- Press the on/off button “(” to switch on the pump.
- Your Moxi Breast Pump will always start in the stimulation mode to help with let-down.
NOTE: When you turn the pump on for the very first time, it starts in stimulation phase, suction level 1.
Finding the Correct Flange Fit
Your Moxi Breast Pump comes with a 25mm 360 Fit Flange with Integrated
Duckbill Valve.
Based on your nipple measurement, if you need to size up or down, you can
separately purchase the Idaho Jones 360 Fit Flanges in the following sizes:
Troubleshooting
We summarize here the most common issues you can encounter while using your
Maxi Breast pump.
If you are not able to solve the issue with the information below, please

do everything we can to help you.
Issue
Low or no suction
Solution
Ensuring tubing is firmly inserted into the white cap.
Double check that the valve in the silicone cushion is flush with the breast
shield and assess for any damage or wear, Replace silicone cushion if needed.
Make sure all parts are dry and securely attached.
Ensure the silicone diaphragm and white cap are firmly attached to the top of
the breast shield. Place the white cap on with the hold for the tubing insert
positioned slightly to theright. Twist the cap to the left until it’s tightly
in place.
Ensure that no parts, especially the flange, silicone diaphragm and the tubes
are not aged or worn out. If so, please replace them before trying again.
Issue
Device not powering on
Solution
Check your power outlet by plugging another electrical device to make sure
that your power outlet is working.
Ensure that your AC adapter is connected properly to the breast pump motor.
If you are using your AC adapter and the pump is not powering on, try using
the battery power instead of the AC adapter, you might have a defective AC
adapter. Please contact Idaho Jones to get a replacement.

Check to see if the pump is over or below the optimal working temperature:
from 40+F/60+C.
Place the machine in an optimal place to allow it to cool or warm as needed.

purchase in the form order number evidencing that the product is within the
warranty period must be presented to obtain warranty.

The warranty is also void if you sell or otherwise transfer this product to
