Maintenance
Brakes: Maintenance / Adjustments
To tighten or release the brakes, use the Hex/Allen key provided. Unscrew the nuts at the cables placed on the brake caliper and slightly pull the cable to shorten or lengthen it depending on the desired action.
Hexagonal wrench locked tightly
Pinch and tighten the brake cable
Shortening the cable (hanging out of the brake caliper) will release the brake tension. Extending the cable (hanging out of the brake caliper) will tighten the brake tension. Tighten the screw with a hex/Allen key while maintaining the cable at the desired length.
Test the cable tension with the corresponding brake handle.
Tire Pressure
The ideal pressure for the front and rear tires is 40-65PSI/2.8-4.5BAR.
Use a suitable inflator, check the tire pressure and if necessary re-inflate the inner tube.
Step 1: Remove the dust cap from the end of the air valve. (Photo 28)
Step 2: Connect the end of the inflator/tire pump. (Photo 29)
Step 3: Re-inflate the tire to2.8-4.5 BAR. (Photo 30)
Step 4: Disconnect the inflator/tire pump. (Photo 31)
Step 5: Screw the dust cap back onto the end of the air valve.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, make sure the bike is turned off, unplug the charging cable and cover the charging port. During the cleaning process, be careful to keep the water out of the charging port. To clean wipe the outer body of your unit with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Check around the wheels and ensure there is no blockage.
