Wiring
a. Wiring Diagram

Note: This wiring diagram is just for reference. Please seek assistance from professionals for different situations.
Note: If the vottage/current of the reverse lamp of some cars (especially made by VW Group) is unstable, it is recommended to use BATT or ACC with relay.
The AHD signal is the default signal of this camera; please note that the car stereo should be set to AHD mode. If the car stereo only supports CVBS signal, please cut off the AHD/CVBS cable to convert to CVBS signal.

b. Wiring Method
A. Connect the video out of camera with the cam input of head unit
B. Connect the trigger wire of camera with the reverse signal wire of head unit
C. Connect the +12V (Red) and Ground (Black) with the reverse lamp (or other power source)

Fine Tuning
After completion of the wiring installation, start the car and put in reverse gear to confirm the image.
a. Please tune the angle of the camera, and make sure you get the best vision for your car.
b. If the image is not shown or there are other issues appearing, please check the trouble shooting section of this manual for solutions.

  1. Remove the screws and take the bracket off the camera.
  2. Install the camera to the license plate bracket and secure with the screws.
  3. Position the license plate bracket onto the license plate, line up the holes and secure with screws.

To Start

  1. Start the engine.
  2. Put in reverse gear. The monitor should be in reverse mode and show the image of the rear-view camera.

Attention

  • This product is designed for rear view parking only. Please do not use in long operation such as CCTV or drive recorder.
  • Please do not operate the camera for 10 mins or above continuously.
  • Please do not start the engine or batt during wiring. It may lead to short circuit.
  • Please make sure there is no wire or part inside before drilling a hole on the car for the camera.
  • Please prevent the positive terminal of the power cable from touching the metal side of the car. It may lead to short circuit that may destroy the product.
  • Please use tape or cable tie to hold the wire tight and fix the camera.
  • Please confirm all the wire is protected well and make sure all wire is covered by insulator material.
  • This product is just for assistance. Driver should pay attention to the real driving environment when driving.
  • Please avoid using a high-pressure washer to spray to the camera directly.
  • Please check the camera from time to time to see whether it is loose or other physical damage.
  • This product is with RCA input. Does not support signal from other sources such as fiber optic or coaxial cable.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Show “No image” 1. Check the cam input connection.

2. Check whether the camera is powered on or not
Loose or noisy image| 1. Set the cam input format on the head unit as AHD input. If the car stereo only supports CVBS signal, please cut off the AHD/CVBS cable of the camera to convert to CVBS signal
2. Try other stable power sources such as ACC or BATT to power the cam. If Ws working properly, the problem should be the power source of the reverse lamp,
M  irror image| Turn off the reverse mirror function on the head unit
Parking guideline is duplicated| Turn off the reverse guideline function on the head unit
