1. Safety
1.1 Electrical Safety
It is important to ensure electrical safety by following these guidelines:
- Check all electrical equipment and appliances for safety before use.
- Inspect power supply leads, plugs, and all electrical connections for wear and damage.
- Sealey recommends using an RCD (Residual Current Device) with all electrical products.
- Ensure that the insulation on all cables and the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
- Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure they are secure.
- Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance matches the power supply and that the plug has the correct fuse.
- DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
- DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.
- DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs, or connectors. Repair or replace any faulty items immediately with the help of a qualified electrician.
- If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply and remove from use. Repairs should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
1.2 General Safety

INTRODUCTION
Ideal for use where high-volume clean air delivery is required. Especially designed to easily ventilate hot or fume laden work areas, creating a cleaner and more pleasant working environment. Supplied with 5m ducting (VEN200AK1). Optional 10m ducting (VEN200AK2) available, but not included. Can be used across multiple industries including, but not exclusive to; marine, roof spaces and building sites, cable/pipe ducts and workshops. Lightweight in construction with large carry handle for portability. Fitted with 2m cable and 3-pin plug.

4. 230V ~ 50HZ OPERATION|
OPERATION
- Decide on the direction of air flow, depending on your requirement (ventilate or extract). See fig 1 for direction of air flow.
- Ducting can be attached to either end of the ventilator depending on whether you wish to remove/extract fumes or deliver fresh air into a work space.
- To change direction of air flow rotate the unit 180° as the air flow is a fixed direction.
- Secure ducting by pulling the string tight then move the toggle switch to start the unit; select a low or high fan speed as required.
NOTE: The ducting has locating lugs attached to it; these can be used to suspend the ducting if required.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
