Ports 1 to 4| PoE ports| TEF1105P-4-38W: used to supply power to and
exchange data with powered devices compliant with the IEEE 802.3af standard.
TEF1105P-4-63W: used to supply power to and exchange data with powered
devices compliant with the IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards.
Port 5| Uplink port| Non-PoE port. Used to connect to a router or core switch.
| Network mode switch| Default: default mode. Ports 1 to 4 perform auto-
negotiation with a maximum rate of 100 Mbps.
Extend: In this mode, ports 1 to 4 decrease to 10 Mbps in negotiation
rate, but transmits up to 250 m in distance.
| Power jack| Used to power on the switch using the included power adapter.
| Grounding terminal| Used to connect to a protection ground cable for
lightning protection.

Note
- In Default mode, if the data rate of the network interface card of the computer used for monitoring is 100 Mbps, it is recommended to set the bit rate of the IP camera lower than 4 Mbps.
- CATSe Ethernet cable or better Is recommended for the best performance of the switch in Extend mode.
- The ports of this switch support Auto MDI/MDIX. You can use straight-through or crossover Ethernet cables to connect the switch to peer devices.
