Installation

To begin using the TV Backlight, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download the Nexxt Home App
To control the TV Backlight, you need to download the Nexxt Home app from either Google Play or the Apple App Store. Search for “Nexxt Home” and install the app on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: Register an Account
Launch the Nexxt Home app and register for an account by following these instructions:

1. Open the app and tap on “Register” or “Sign Up.”
2. Enter your email address in the provided field.
3. Fill in the required fields with your personal information, such as your name, country, and password.
4. Tap on “Register” or “Sign Up” to create your account.

Step 3: Add TV Backlight Device
Once you have registered an account, you can proceed to add the TV Backlight device to the Nexxt Home app:

1. Log in to your Nexxt Home account using your registered email and password.
2. Tap on the “Add Device” button.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the TV Backlight to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Once connected, the TV Backlight will appear as a new device in the app.

Step 4: Control the TV Backlight
Now that you have successfully added the TV Backlight to the Nexxt Home app, you can control its settings:

Camera: A quick view

Installation

1. Wipe the installation surface (normally the back of the TV)to make sure it’s dry and clean.

2. Position the camera exactly in the middle of the top of the TV. Use a tape measure to determine this point. Remove the film cover­ing the double-sided tape at the bottom of the camera. Then, stick it on the determined middle point on the TV and tighten the base with the clip located in the back.

3. Stick the strip light firmly on the back of the TV, as shown below. Please follow the direction of the arrows on the strip light.
   Note: Although the graphic below shows the strip initial end was placed on the bottom left corner, you can place it on any corner of the TV, clockwise or anticlockwise. Go to the Calibration section for more details.

4. Insert the strip lights cable and then power into the port hub at the end of the camera cable, as shown below.
   Once all connections are set up, you’ll be ready to complete the Nexxt Home app configuration and the strip light calibration.
