Safety Instructions

Ensure the refrigerator is used in the following environments:

  • Kitchen corners for staff in shops, offices, and similar professional environments.
  • Farms.
  • Hotel rooms, motel rooms, and other residential environments.
  • Guest rooms or similar places.

Remove the refrigerator door when not in use or take other measures to make the appliance safe. Avoid damaging the cooling system. Keep the refrigerator away from gas or electric stoves and any heat sources. There are flammable materials at the back of the appliance. Avoid using extension cords or power strips.

Maintenance

Keep the condensation channel and drainage hole at the back of the appliance clean. Do not store or drip food on top of the refrigerator. If the refrigerator needs to be stored for an extended period, it should be switched off, defrosted, and cleaned. Allow it to dry and keep the door open to prevent mold growth inside the appliance.

Installation

Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated space. The appliance is intended for use in a room where the ambient temperature falls within the climate class indicated on the label at the back of the appliance. Climate classes: SN, N, ST, T. For household use only.

Thermostat

The thermostat has four settings:

  • OFF
  • Cold
  • Normal
  • Colder

Changing the Door Hinge

Before changing the door hinge, make sure the plug is disconnected and the appliance is empty. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench (not included).

  1. Remove the screw covers (3) and then the screws (4) holding the upper hinge (5) in place. Lift the door and place it on a soft surface to avoid scratches.
  2. Remove the three cover caps (2) on the left side and move the black plastic spacer (6) to the other side (1).
  3. Remove the lower screws, hinge bracket, and the bottom left adjustable foot from the appliance.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The war-ranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you pur- chased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.
The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automati-cally in the following cases:

  • If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  • In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
  • In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  • In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
  • In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-autho-rised third parties.
  • If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or pro-vided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure safety, you must read this manual thor-oughly. This appliance is made for domestic use and should only be used according to the instructions described below.

  • This device may be used by children from the age of 8 years and by persons with a physical sensory or mental limitations or lack of experience and knowl-edge if these persons are supervised have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe manner and that they also know the hazards involved in using the device.
  • Children must not play with the appliance.
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance must not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of chil-dren under the age of 8.
  • If the electrical cord is damaged, it must replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person person in order to avoid any accident.
  • Caution : the appliance must not be used with an external timer or remote control.

  • An empty refrigerator can be very dangerous for children. Remove the refrigerator door when not in use. Or take other measures that will make the appliance harmless. Be careful not to damage the refrigeration system.
  • WARNING! Never place this appliance on or near a gas or electric fire or in a place where it could come in contact with a heat source. There are flammable materials on the back of the appliance.
  • Note the “fire hazard – flammable material” symbol located on the back of the unit.
  • The unit must not be used with an extension cord or power strip.

Follow the instructions below to prevent food contamination:

  • Opening the door for long periods can significantly increase the temperature in the appliance compartments.
  • Clean surfaces that may come in contact with food regularly. Keep the condensation channel and drain hole at the back of the appliance clean.
  • Store raw meat and fish in appropriate containers in the refrigerator so that it does not come in contact with or drip on other food.
  • If the appliance remains empty for a long time, you should turn it off, defrost and clean it. Let it dry and leave the door open to prevent mold from growing inside the appliance.
  • This freestanding appliance should not be built-in.
  • Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated area. The appliance is intended for use in an area where the ambient temperature falls within the following class depending on the climate class found on the rating plate on the back of the appliance.

INSTALLATION

  • Remove all packing material, both inside and outside.
  • Clean the outside of the unit with a dry cloth. You can clean the inside with a soft damp cloth.
  • Do not place the unit in a narrow passage, direct sunlight or moisture.
  • Make sure that air can circulate freely around the refrigerator. The back of the refrigerator must be at least 13 cm away from the wall.
  • Place the refrigerator on a firm, flat surface.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Sunlight can damage the outside of the refrigerator. Heat will cause higher consumption.
  • Avoid excessive humidity. Too much moisture in the air will cause frost to form too quickly inside your refrigerator.
  • You can set the temperature at the back inside the unit with the thermostat

DOOR CONVERSION

Before changing the direction of rotation, check that the plug is unplugged and that the appliance is empty. It is recommended to use a Phillips screwdriver and a spanner (both not supplied).

  1. Remove the hinge cover from the screws (3). Remove the screws (4) and then the top hinge (5) that holds the door in place. Lift the door and place it on a soft surface to avoid scratches.
  2. On the left side, remove the three cover caps (2) and move the black plastic spacer (6) to the other side (1).PRIMO-PR127BC-Beverage-Cooler-fig-3
  3. Remove the bottom screws, hinge bracket and the levelling foot at the bottom left of the appliance.
  4. Move the end stop (7) located at the bottom of the unit to the other side. Also move the spacer (6) at the bottom of the door to the other side.
  5. Fix the screws, hinge bracket and the adjusting foot on the other side of the base.PRIMO-PR127BC-Beverage-Cooler-fig-5
  6. Carefully put the door in place. Make sure the door is both horizontally and vertically aligned so that the seals are closed on all sides before fully tightening the top hinge. Return the hinge and screw tightly to the top of the appliance. Replace the cover plate.
  7. Level the appliance using the adjustable foot (11).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

  • Unplug the refrigerator.
  • Remove everything from the refrigerator and store your products in a cool place.
  • Do not use harsh detergents or solvents.
  • Clean the unit with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Clean the seal with clean water only, then wipe thoroughly.

Note: When the appliance is not used for an extended period of time, unplug it. Leave the door partially open, this will prevent the formation of mold and foul odors.

Note: If the unit is turned off for any reason, wait 2 to 5 min before turning the unit back on.

HOLIDAY

  • When you go on vacation for a short period of time, you can leave the unit turned on.
  • When going on vacation for an extended period of time, it is best to do the following :
    • Remove all products from your refrigerator.
    • Remove the plug from the socket.
    • Clean the refrigerator thoroughly.
    • Leave the refrigerator door open to avoid mold and bad odors.

POWER FAILURE
Most power cuts are recovered in 1 or 2 hours and will not change the temperature of your refrigerator. You should, however, keep opening the door to a minimum during a power failure.
During a longer power failure, you should take measures to protect your products, e.g. by putting dry ice on your products..

MOVING THE APPLIANCE
Remove the plug from the electrical outlet. Secure all loose parts inside the refrigerator. Fully screw in the control feet to avoid damaging the feet.

IMPORTANT RULES

  • Products should be stored in a sealed container.
  • Always make sure that the refrigerator is not overloaded so that your product can be adequately cooled.
  • Open the refrigerator door only when necessary.
  • The appliance must not be used for outdoor camping e.g. tent.
  • The appliance may only be used indoors.
  • The appliance must not be used in public transportation.
