TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING PARTS FROM THE SPRUE
Acrylic plastic is brittle and should be handled with care.
Remove from sprue using a knife or snips.
This is a rough guide to using the kit. Care should be taken at each
stage to make sure the model is going together correctly and any alterations
that are not in the instructions should be carried out.
Paint: Components can be painted at any time in the build, it is a case
of what suits the builder. We tend to use Automotive spray paints such as
Halfords or Hycote or Hobby Paints like Humbrol, Revell or Tamiya.
Step One. Remove parts from the sprue, remove the plastic backing and
sand the parts.
Take care when removing parts, acrylic is a brittle material and can easily
snap with too much pressure. To remove parts from the sprue gently apply
pressure to the sprue attachment points with a craft knife until the part pops
out.
Peel the plastic off the back, this is best achieved by nicking a corner with
a craft knife and peeling. To improve the adhesion of glue and paint we
recommend sanding all parts with 220 grit or finer sand paper. This removes
any burs created in the cutting process and improves surface adhesion.
Step
Two. Start by gluing the sides 2 to the floor 1. They fit into the dedicated
slots with the engraved sides to the outside.

Three. Add the front panel 3 to cap off the sides,

Four. Assemble the tow beam. Glue the two 2’s back to back and then add the
tow eye 14 to the top of the sloped end as pictured. 
Step
Five. Glue the A-Frame on, start by drawing a centre line on the trailer and
on part 4. Then glue part 4 to the underside of the trailer as illustrated.
The two arms 5 glue to the sides of 4 as pictured and are joined at the front
using 7.
Glue the tow eye 6 onto the top of 7. You can also glue the jockey wheel 8
into the slot in 7. 
Glue the spare wheel mounts 23 back to back, then
glue these to the offside front 10mm back from the front of the trailer.
Step
Six. Assemble the mudguards. Glue one top 12 to the side 11. Then glue an
end piece 13 to both ends of 11. Finally sand a 45 deg angle on each end of 14
and glue this in the gap between. Cap with a second side 11 and repeat for the
other mudguard. 
Step Seven. Fit the mudguards to the trailer.
The glue to the sides 2 and should sit level with the bottom of the floor.
Step
Eight. Assemble the ramps. Start by gluing a side 15 to the main ramp 16
aligning the top of the point with the end of 16.
Glue the other side 18 to the opposite side of 16 making sure to two holes are
inline.
Repeat for the second ramp ensuring they are glued the opposite way round.
Sand the ends of 16 to match the profile of the sides
Glue the small nub 20 into the slots on 15 to create a latch.
Trim to size and glue the mesh sheet to 17. Then sandwich 17 between the two
ramps with the triangles on the inside. Finally cap the triangles with the bar
21 as pictured. 
Step Nine. Dry fit the assembly using the wire
slotted through the body rear slots and the ramp holes, the ramps should pivot
and be able to lift in and out of the latches to hold the ramp up
Everything is now ready for paint 
PAINT
Step Ten. The model is now ready for paint. We recommend using aerosol
spray paints but the model can be brush painted or airbrushed.
We have used the following paints-
Halfords Grey Plastic Acrylic Primer— A good plastic primer lets the
paint get a good grip and not flake off. The halfords cans are readily
available and easy to use.
Aluminium Effect Spray Paint— Hycote Aluminium Effect Aerosol is used for
the galvanised colour but any silver paint is suitable.
Matt Black Tamiya Paint— For the tyres I always brush paint using a matt
black modelling paint.
Leave time between coats and ensure all paint is fully dry before final
assembly
Step Eleven. Hand paint any additional details like the tow hitch and
lights, decals are also provided for the lights.
Add decals as desired, simply cut them out with scissors, peel off the backing
paper and stick down where you want them. Step Twelve. Cut the wire to length, bend one
end over using pliers. Slot the wire between the body slots and ramp holes.
Bend the other end over to fix the wire in place taking care not to snap the
plastic slots. Alternatively cut the wire shorter and place a small dab of
glue on the ramp holes to fix the wire in place.
Step
Thirteen. The wheels push onto the axles, slot the axle through the holes in
the chassis then push the wheels on. Use the small stub axle for the spare
wheel and glue inplace in its holder.
Decals
Simply cut your chosen decals out from the decal sheet using scissors. Peel back the paper backing sheet and stick down the decal, smooth out any bubbles.
Step Nineteen. Sit back and enjoy the model that YOU built!!!
