Product Usage Instructions

Cleaning

Clean all resin parts in warm soapy water. The silicone release agent used in the casting process will react with paint, so it is important to thoroughly clean it off before painting.

Preparation

  1. Prep the parts by removing the blue plastic backing and separating parts from the sprues. Gently cut the remaining plastic holding them in place.
  2. Sand both sides and the edges of all parts with 220 grit or similar sandpaper to improve adhesion.

Assembly

  1. Assemble the sides by gluing thin plastic sheets to the sides and front as illustrated. Make sure to glue them to the side without engraved panel details. Trim any excess plastic sheet away.
  2. Make a corner by gluing one side sheet to the front sheet as illustrated. The edge of the front should glue to the back of the side. Then glue the roof in place with its edges gluing to the backs of the side and front.
  3. Add the rear by gluing the rear door into place as shown. Take care to ensure that the prongs point to the roof.
  4. Glue the second side in place. The floor panel can be glued in at this step, although it is recommended to leave it out for betterpainting results.
  5. Build the door by gluing the two hinges to the bottom edges of the door on the engraved side. The bottom of the door is the larger section before the small tabs. The door buffers should be glued onto the top edge, one in each corner and one in the center as photographed.

Everything is now ready to display! Congratulations on completing the assembly of the 1:32 Cattle Float for Bale Trailer.

The model can now be painted. We painted by first spraying the model with Halfords Grey Plastic Primer, any plastic primer is suitable. It has then been sprayed with Hycote Aluminium Effect Paint, any silver paint is suitable. This is then left to set before final assembly

Final Assembly

Glue the floor inplace if desired. To assemble the door cut a length of wire, fold it into an L shape, align the door and body, thread the wire through the hole and slot then fold the other end over to captivate the door. Trim any excess. The model is now complete. Simply sit it on top of the Bale Trailer. The door unfolds by lifting over the tabs then pulling backwards. The gates slot onto the prongs as illustratedBRAEMEREMOD-LS-Livestock-Container-
