Please read carefully this user manual completely before assembling or
starting to use your product.
- Before plugging this appliance to the proper energy source, please check the electric power is compatible with the one indicated for this appliance, which is 127V~
- Please remave all packaging material from the appliance.

- Warning: please turn off this appliance before cleaning, as well as when any accessory will be changed or when this appliance is being put away.
- Please remember alwaus to unplug uour appliance after using it.
- To avoid any electrical shock risk, never try to reach anu internal cavity of this appliance.
- |f anu cover from the appliance appears tore, unplug immediately from electrical power in order o avoid a possible electric shock.

- DO NOT INTRODUCE STRANGE OBJECTS INSIDE THE GLASS CARAFE OR THE COFFEE MACHINE WHILE WORKING. Once the appliance is unplugged fram the electric power supply and praperiy turned off, uou can be able to introduce cleaning ware inside, make sure to remove them before operating the unit again.
- MAKE SURE TO USE EXCLUSIVELY ROOM TEMPERATURE DRINKING WATER, OTHERWISE ANY MALFUNCTION OCCASIONED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED BY THE WARRANTY.
- Make sure to turn off the coffee machine between every working cycle and allow the appliance to cool off for 5 minutes at least.
- The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damage resulting from wrong use of the appliance.
- KEEP THE APPLIANCE AWAY FROM WATER ALL THE TIME. Make sure to clean any spilling in order to avoid an electric hazard.
- Please make sure your appliance rest over a plain secure surface before you start it
- Please make sure every connection is clear and dry.
- Please make sure the lid is properly closed before turn the appliance on. NEVER open while in operation.
- Keep your face, hands and arms and any other sensitive part of your body away from the steam which maul flow out from the appliance while operating or when you open the lid. Never leave the appliance unattended.
- Do not move near turn the appliance while operating, when it contains fluid inside or while plugged to the eclectic power supply.
- Do not use the appliance with a timer or any other automatic on/off device.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Remember to untangle the electric cord before using your appliance every time.
- Do not use your appliance if every accessory is not correctly ensemble.
- Do not turn on the appliance if the water deposit is empty.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off function is not working.
- Do not move or turn the appliance whining use or plugged.
- Do not fill up the glass carafe above the maximum level of 1.2 L{40.6 oz).
- Remember always to unplug your coffee machine from the electric power source before you remover or change any accessory and before you clean your appliance.
- Please take extreme precautions while handling the appliance, since the glass carafe can get extremely hot.
- Mover leave your appliance unattended; not only you will make your coffee machine last longer but also you will save energu.
- Make sure to dry Manu remaining liquid drops which could have spilled, before plaguing to the electric power supply.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATER FILL UP CAPACITY OF 1.2 LITERS (40.6 0Z), SINCE WATER CAN BE SPILLED AND CAUSE ANY ELECTRIC HAZARD.
HOW TO USE
Before using for the first time:
How to prepare coffee (Without programming function):
- Set the coffee machine on a steady, completely dry and high temperature resistant surface.
- Lift the water deposit lid and fill up the glass carafe with room temperature water according to the number of cups you will drink. Lift the water deposit lid and pour the water from the glass carafe inside. Make sure not to over fill the deposit maximum level indicated. Use room temperature water exclusively.
- Put the filter on its container and fill it up with ground coffee, the recommended amount of ground coffee is one coffee scoop for each 100 ml (3.4 oz) of water used, however the coffee amount depends on user preferences.
- Make sure to put the glass carafe on the heating plate under the anti-drip pivot
- Plug the appliance to the electric power supply. It will automatically appear 12:00 at the LCD screen.
- Turn the appliance on by pushing the on/off button, the red LED sign will turn on, which means the coffee machine is operating. Your coffee machine will start coffee brewing after a couple of minutes.
- Before cleaning or storing make sure the coffee maker has completely cool down.
When the direct brewing function is used (without programming) no other function than brewing coffee will be activated.
IMPORTANT! The anti-drip device does not turn off the coffee maker and the coffee preparation cycle will continue; removing the digital carafe from its position for long periods of time may cause hot coffee to spill out of the filter holder. It is important that while the coffee maker is in operation, you onlyremove the carafe from its serving position and replace it correctly so that the coffee continues to be served inside the digital carafe.
ATTENTION! AVOID THERMAL SHOCK BREAKEAGE BY NEVER LEAVING THE GLASS CARAFE EMPTY WHILE SET ON THE HEATING PLATE, ALSO MAKE SURE TO LET THE GLASS CARAFE TO COOL OFF BEFORE WASHING IT AND FINALLY, MAKE SURE TO ONLY FILL UP THE WATER DEPOSIT AND THE GLASS CARAFE WITH ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER.
Clock time setting:
The time format used in this appliance is 24 hours. The following instructions are linked to the control panel of your coffee maker.
- Plug the appliance to the electric power supply. It will automatically appear 12:00 at the LCD screen.
- Press the “Prog™ button, the flashing legend “clock” will appear on the screen.
- Press the “Time” button as many times as necessary until you reach the correct time.
- Press the “Min” button as many times as necessary until You reach the comet minutes.
- Once the desired current local time appears at the screen, press and held the *Prog” button (the screen will switch to the “timer” function) for approximately 8 seconds unnail the “timer” function stops flashing.
NOTE: If the coffee machine is unplugged or the electricity is interrupted, the appliance will reset and it will be necessary to program it again.
Coffee brewing programming :
- Set the coffee machine on a steady, completely dry and high temperature resistant surface.

- Make sure to put the glass carafe on the heating plate under the anti-drip pivot
- Plug the appliance to the electric power supply. It will automatically appear 12:00 at the LCD screen.
- Set the clock by following “Clock time setting instructions”
- To set the desired brewing start time:
- Push “Prog” button, 12:00 will flash on the screen, then push “Prog” button once again.
- Push “Hour” button to set the brewing hour as many times as necessary until the desired hour appears on the screen.
- Push “Min” button to set the minutes as many times as necessary until the desired time appears on the screen.
- Once the desired brewing start time appears on the screen, push “Prog” button to confirm, a green light will turn on.
- When the coffee machine starts operation (at the selected brewing start time), the green light will change to red. • To stop the programming function, push the “Prog” button once, the green light will turn off.
- Make sure that the coffee machine is plugged, with water in the tank and coffee in the filter to ensure the automatic brewing can operate.
- After two hours without use, your coffee maker will automatically shut down; the red indicator light will turn off and the heating plate will stop heating.
IMPORTANT : Brewing start time couldn’t be set if the actual local time is not settled first.
The coffee machine has 2 hour auto shut off function.
CLEANING
Before first use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Wash the glass carafe and the filter with a soft sponge, water and soap.
- Clean the unit’s surface with a lightly wet cloth. Never pour water directly and dry perfectly before every use.
- Perform 3 complete cycles only filling up with room temperature water and a tea spoon of white vinegar (Follow the instructions in order to perform one coffee cycle without putting any coffee on the filter).
REGULAR CLEANING
Make sure to unplug from the electric power supply and wait for the appliance to cool off before cleaning
A. Water deposit cleaning
From time to time you must get rid of the minerals residuals left behind by the hardness of the water with a specific anti-lime product suitable for your coffee machine.
The frequency with which you will have to perform this operation may vary
depending the water hardness of every location and how much you use your
coffee machine.
a. Fill up the water deposit with water, add a tea spoon of white vinegar
and perform one cycle.
b. Pour the water with vinegar.
c. Fill up with clean water and perform another cycle. Do all over for at
least 3 times. It is recommended to do so every 3 months
B. Glass carafe, filter and coffee machine cleaning.
a. Wash the glass carafe with liquid soap and a soft sponge.
b. Wash the filter with a brush, water and liquid soap.
c. Clean the coffee machine with a lightly wet cloth.
NEVER SUBMERGE ON WATER.
Make sure all the elements are perfectly dry before before assembling them.
CARE AND MANTEINANCE
This appliance requires very little maintenance and it does not contain parts which can be repaired. Do not try to repair them yourself. In case that your appliance fails take it to an authorized service center.
STORAGE
Before you store your coffee machine, be sure it is off and unplug it from the electric source. Clean your coffee machine as described on the “Regular cleaning” part. Be sure it is completely dry and store your coffee machine in a clean, dry place away from the reach of children or people with any disability.
FAILURES AND REPAIR
If the power cord is damaged in any way, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, by any technician at an authorized service center or by a qualified trained person, in order to avoid any personal damage. Never try to repair by yourself. Follow this procedure whether any other failure appears.

This “drip coffee maker” is guaranteed by TAURUS for a 2 years lapse, starting from the purchase date
TERMS
In order to apply the guarantee, you will only be asked to present the product itself and this policy, properly filled and sealed along with the actual date when this appliance was purchased, by the place where it was originally acquired or any authorized service center you are able to find through the directory attached within.
Our guarantee includes repair, replacement or the physical change of the product or any attachment or spare part free of charge, this includes the labor as well as the shipping cost.
The time spent to repair this unit will be a thirty working day period starting from the date when the unit was received by the authorized by the manufacturer service center where this guarantee can be claimed
