Mounting Instructions **

To mount the mains switch on the Vacon 100 X drive, follow these steps:
Step 1: Content of the Mains Switch Option Package
Refer to Figure 1 for the contents of the mains switch option package.

Step 2: Disconnect the Cable Entry Plate
Locate the drive’s cable entry plate and disconnect it. This is where the
mains switch will be mounted. Refer to Figure 3 for an example for MM5.
The mains switch can be mounted on either side of the drive. Disconnect the cable entry plate in which mains switch has to be mounted: example for MM5.

Step 3: Separate the Powerhead from the Terminal Box
Refer to Figure 5 to separate the powerhead from the terminal box.
Step 4: Connect the Supply Cable to the Mains Switch
Connect the supply cable to the mains switch. Refer to Figure 6 for a
right-hand-side example.
Step 5: Connect Cables and Mount the Powerhead
Connect the cables to the mains switch and ensure they are properly
connected. Then, mount the powerhead on the terminal box. Refer to Figure 7
and Figure 8 for visual guidance.
