Fire e-Control Remote Setup
Remote setup and operating instructions
SET UP 2
Easy-to-use auxiliary remote to be used in conjunction with the Fire control
app.
STEP ONE
Inserting/removing the battery
- Insert a flathead screwdriver to unlock the cover.
- Remove the cover.
- Remove or insert the battery.
STEP TWO
Pair/unpair the remote
Pair
- On the keypad, press the +/-buttons together on DIM 1, and the green LED will slowly flash.
- On the remote, press the ON/OFF button to pair. If successful, the green LED will flash quickly on the keypad to confirm. The pairing mode lasts 12 seconds.
Unpair
- On the keypad, press the +/-buttons together on DIM 2, the green LED will slowly flash.
- On the remote, press the ON/OFF button to unpair. If successful, the green LED will flash quickly on the keypad to confirm. Unpairing mode lasts 12 seconds.

Rotate the wheel to select a temperature, brightness, and color. There will be a delay as the remote, app & fire sync status.
OPERATING THE REMOTE
Thermostat
Heat on will retain the last temperature set by the remote or the app unless
the fire is switched off by the master on/off switch, then it will default to
21° C. The heater will automatically cycle on & off within 2 degrees if the
room temperature drops. The temperature may vary slightly between the actual
room temperature and that of the reading inside the fire. Use the app or
remote to adjust.
Open Window/Door Detection
If the fire senses a significant drop in room temperature, it will revert to
LO Heat (showing the eco leaf) to save energy. HI Heat must be reset by the
user once the door or window is closed and the room isolated.
Colour change
You may change the color of the flame and fuel independently of each other.
There are 20 colors to choose from:
- 1-4 Orange 13-16 Blue
- 5-8 Red 17-20 White
- 9-12 Green
- You may also set a smooth color flow:
- 21-24 Smoothly changes between the 5 main colors
- 25 1-4 orange

The back plate can either be stuck
or screwed to the wall
Troubleshooting
No power to the remote or the screen is blank Check the battery Remote is unresponsive, and icons show Remove battery and pair
