Product Usage Instructions
Installation and Driver Installation
After purchasing and connecting the mouse to your PC, the software will
automatically detect and install the necessary driver.
Mouse Management
To access the mouse management window, use the desktop icon on Windows. In
the management window, you can customize key assignments and mouse parameters.
By default, all mouse buttons have preset settings, but you can change them
according to your preferences.
Changing Mouse Functions
To change the functions of the mouse buttons, follow these steps:
- Open the mouse management window.
- Click on the desired mouse button in the numbered list.
- A popup window will appear with additional functions that can be reassigned to the selected button.
- Select the desired function and apply the changes.
Note : Field number 1 can only be reassigned by changing the left mouse button function to another button.
Additional Functions
The gaming mouse offers additional functions to enhance convenience in
different applications. These functions can be accessed through the extended
media system.
Macro Button
The macro button allows you to assign a previously saved macro to a mouse
button. This feature is useful for automating repetitive tasks or executing
complex commands with a single click.
Saving and Loading Settings
You can save and load your customized settings using the Import and Export
buttons. If you want to reset the mouse to its factory settings, click the
Reset button.
Macro Tab
When entering macros, the symbols you input will correspond to the language of
the currently active interface. For example, if you record macros using an
English interface, the symbols will be inEnglish. Switching the input language
from English to Russian or vice versa is not possible.
Recording Macros
To record macros, follow these steps:
- Open the macro tab in the mouse management window.
- Click on the Start button to begin recording.
- Perform the desired actions or commands.
- Press Stop to finish recording.
- Apply the macro settings.
You can also add additional commands to a completed list of macro commands by pressing the Insert Event button and selecting the required command from the list. Additionally, you can set delay time, disable delays, and specify the number of repetitions.
Saving and Loading Macros
To save macros into a file, click the Import Macro Group button. To load a
previously saved macro file, click the Export Macro Group button.
LED On Tab
In the LED On tab, you can select pre-set backlight effects, configure
parameters, and enable or disable the backlight feature.
Troubleshooting
Problem :
The mouse is not working.
Solution:
- Disconnect the mouse from the PC and check the connector pins for possible damage.
- If there is no external damage found and the connector pins are okay, connect the mouse to the PC again.
- If the issue persists, contact your nearest authorized service center for further assistance.

BUYER RECOMMENDATIONS

PREPARATION TO WORK
- Connect a mouse to a free USB port on
- Once the mouse is connected to the USB port, PC will automatically recognize
- In order to configure the buttons, you need to install software downloaded from our website www.sven.fi. (https://www.sven.fi/ru/ catalog/mouse/rx-g840.htm)
- Launch software you have downloaded and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
After installation, software will automatically see the mouse and install the driver
You can open the management window using a desktop icon in Windows. Key assignments and mouse parameters. Initially, all the mouse buttons have default settings (see the figure below). But the User can change button functions.
You can re-assign buttons by clicking on the menu items – a pop-up window will open, where you can override keys, assign a macro (pre-configured options of key combinations), designate multimedia functions to a key (sound level control, volume off, multimedia player management).
Attention!
Field number 1 can be re-assigned only with re-assigning the left mouse
button function to another button, otherwise you will see the warning message.
Changing mouse functions
Mouse buttons functions can be changed by assigning other values to them. Mouse key numbering (image in the middle of the screen) matches numbers 1-10 from the list. Clicking a menu item will open a pop-up window with additional functions that can be re-assigned.
- Left Click – left mouse button.
- Middle Click – middle button, button under the scroll wheel.
- Right Click – right mouse button.
- Forward – forward button.
- Backward – backward button.
- DPI Loop – switching DPI resolution in a loop.

Additional functions improve convenience of operation in different
applications.

Macro button allows you to assign a pre-viously saved macro to a mouse button
Advanced settings
- “Mouse sensitivity” – allows you to increase or decrease pointer (cursor) sensitivity.
- “Scroll Speed” – allows you to increase or decrease wheel scrolling rate.
- “Double Click Speed” – allows you to increase or decrease double click triggering rate. The parameter can be changed by moving the slider.
- “DPI Control” – allows you to increase or decrease DPI in the range between 200 and 7200dpi By clicking on a square name with the mouse, you can set a flag, select DPI modes to be used. Clicking on a numeric value provides selection of an active setting. By clicking on squares (above DPI name), you can enable or disable a setting for this DPI. The parameter can be changed by moving the slider.
You can save and load the settings using buttons “Import” and “Export”. Clicking the “Reset” button resets to factory settings.
“Macro” tab
Creation of macros
“Macro” tab allows you to create precise sequences of pressing buttons and
keys. This tab also allows setting the macros to execute various tasks.
Assigning a macro to a button allows you to easily execute complicated
operations. In order to create a macro command, follow the steps below:
- Click with the right mouse button, select “New Macro Group”. The name of the entered macros group will appear in window “Macro”.
- Hover a cursor over string “New Macro Group”. Click with the right mouse button and select “New Macro”. The macro name by default can be changed by right-clicking on “Rename”.
- Press button “Record” and then sequentially press the key combination that you want to use further. The pressed keys will be displayed in window “Key in macro”.
Attention : For entering macros, the symbols you enter will be relevant to the language of the interface which is currently active. For instance, if macros are recorded using an English interface, the symbols will be in English, and it is impossible to switch the input language from English to Russian or vice versa.
In order to finish recording, press “Stop”, and then “Apply”. The program will save the macro settings. If necessary, you can add additional commands to a completed list of macro commands. In order to do this, press “Insert Event” button and select the required command from the list. Also, there are options to set delay time, disable delays, set the number of repetitions.
Saving, loading a macro
Macros can be saved into a file by pressing button “Import macro group”.
Button “Export macro group” loads a previously saved file.
TROUBLESHOOTING
