How to use

Step 1

Lightly push from the front to release the flip tab, then gently push cover back in the direction of the arrow to lift the lid.

To close the cover, push from back to front. Make sure cover sits firmly in place and does not move.

Make sure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and the cover is locked back in place.

Step 2

Put the can opener on top of a can, making sure the edge of the can is between the blade and the metal gear.

Step 3

Push the button and let the can opener rotate around the can on its own.

Once done, the can opener automatically stops and unlatches from the edge.

Remove the can opener and lift the lid.

Step 4

When the can opener has completed cutting, the magnet at the bottom of the can opener will hold the lid.

Care and Maintenance

  • DO NOT submerge in water, wash under running water, or wash in a dishwasher.
  • Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe the cutter with a damp cloth or a sponge, using a mild nonabrasive cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.

Trouble Shooting

  1. The can opener is not working. What do I do?
Check the battery compartment. Make sure the batteries are in the right polarity and that the cover is securely in place.

  2. Why is it rotating so slowly? It looks like it’s struggling.
The batteries might be drained. Replace them and try again.

  3. Why doesn’t it latch off the edge once it’s done?
First, don’t forcefully remove the can opener. Restart it by taking off the batteries in that position. Put them back in, including the lid and push the button again.

  4. Why can’t the small magnet keep the lid in place?
Some canned food suck in the lid due to moisture. You can manually lift the lid to open the can.

  5. Why can’t it open the can?
Make sure that it is in the right position on the can. Check the can for any dents or bends on the edges. If there are no problems with the can, restart the opener.

  6. Not to be used on cans with curved body.

Note: The can opener will not open rimless cans or cans with odd corners.
