General

Equipment Operation
The EnSURE® Touch Charging Dock is for use as a charging dock that works in conjunction with the EnSURE Touch (ETOUCH) and its accessories. Only use Hygiena-approved and distributed power adapters [MIS0151] and USB-C Cables [MIS0150]. Connect the Hygiena USB-C charger to the dock, then rest the EnSURE Touch in the cradle. The indicator light will glow orange when the instrument is charging. The indicator light will glow green when the instrument is fully charged or when no instrument is detected.
Equipment Maintenance and Service
All EnSURE Touch Charging Dock components are supplied only by Hygiena or
Hygiena’s authorized agents and distributors (including, but not limited to,
battery, power adapters, calibration devices and swabs). Only use Hygiena-
approved and distributed power adapters [MIS0151] and USB Cables [MIS0150].
Use of any other adapters may cause damage to the device.

Safety Measures
Cables should be placed and routed to avoid creating electrical, tripping or safety hazards. If the equipment is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
Regulatory
Food safety testing products from Hygiena are not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or any other U.S. or non-U.S. regulatory agency for use as food ingredients, cosmetics, drugs or medical devices, including use as a medical device for human diagnostics or treatment. Furthermore, these are not to be considered In Vitro Diagnostics and are not subject to the In Vitro Diagnostic Directive (IVDD) 98/79/EC and are not to be used to perform tests on samples such as blood, urine, tissue for human diagnostics or treatment.
Disposal of Waste and Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
This symbol on the product or its packaging means that this product must not
be disposed of with household waste. Instead, it is your responsibility to
hand this over to an applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. This separate collection and recycling
will help to conserve natural resources and prevent potential negative
consequences for human health and the environment due to the possible presence
of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, which could be
caused by inappropriate disposal. For more information on where to drop off

city/municipality office, your waste disposal service or the distributor where

The charging dock should be disposed of in accordance with the European Union
WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

correctly dispose of this product.
