RSDS Surface Mount LED Downlight

Product Information

The RSDS Surface Mount LED Downlight is a thin installation
solution designed to fit into tight spaces. It features a twist
lock diffuser that can be easily removed for installation. The
direct box mount ensures that the downlight sits flush to the
ceiling, providing a clean and professional look. With CCT
Selectable technology, you can choose from 2700K, 3000K, 3500K,
4000K, and 5000K light temperatures to tailor the illumination to
your desired preference. This downlight is perfect for bringing
even illumination to any area of your home.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation

  1. Turn off the power supply to the installation area.

  2. Remove the twist lock diffuser by twisting it
    counterclockwise.

  3. Mount the direct box to the ceiling using appropriate screws
    and anchors.

  4. Connect the wiring from the power supply to the downlight,
    following electrical codes and guidelines.

  5. Securely attach the downlight to the direct box by twisting it
    clockwise until it locks into place.

  6. Insert the twist lock diffuser back into position by twisting
    it clockwise.

  7. Turn on the power supply and test the downlight to ensure
    proper functionality.

Light Temperature Selection

The RSDS Surface Mount LED Downlight offers CCT Selectable
technology, allowing you to choose from different light
temperatures. Follow the steps below to select your desired light
temperature:

  1. Ensure the downlight is connected to a power supply and turned
    on.

  2. Using a compatible dimmer switch, cycle through the available
    light temperature options (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K) until
    you reach your desired setting.

  3. The downlight will adjust its light output to match the
    selected temperature.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I use a dimmer switch with the RSDS Surface Mount LED

Downlight?

A: Yes, the RSDS downlight is compatible with dimmer switches.
Refer to the “Recommended Dimmers” section for a list of compatible
dimmer models.

Q: Can I install the RSDS downlight in a non-metallic junction

box?

A: Yes, the RSDS downlight is compatible with most standard 4″
non-metallic or 4/O junction boxes. Ensure that the chosen junction
box meets electrical codes and guidelines.

Q: How do I change the light temperature of the RSDS

downlight?

A: The RSDS downlight offers CCT Selectable technology. Simply
cycle through the available light temperature options using a
compatible dimmer switch until you reach your desired setting.
