IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please, read this manual before using the device. This manual contains important information regarding your safety, as well as recommendations concerning the correct use and maintenance of this appliance. Keep this manual together with a warranty card, cash register receipt and, if possible, carton and packaging material. This instruction manual describes different types of this device. The device you purchased may differ slightly from the description in the manual, which does not affect the methods of use and operation. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the device without additional notice which is not fundamentally affect its safety, performance and functionality. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations in the present manual.

Important safeguards and descriptions contained in this manual do not include all possible situations that you may experience using the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage of the appliance or its parts during transportation, as a result of incorrect installation or voltage fluctuations, as well as when any part of the appliance has been changed or modified.

Before using the built-in oven, please read this instruction manual carefully: this will ensure  proper use and prevent the occurrence of dangerous situations during operation.”
NOTE:
A dedicated power circuit is recommended for the unit but not required. Additional electrical appliances on the same circuit may exceed the current (amperage) rating for that circuit. If after the installation of your unit the circuit breaker trips or the fuse fails on a repeated basis, then a dedicated circuit will likely be required.
The appliance must be installed only by a qualified person in compliance with the instructions provided. Incorrect installation may cause harm to persons, animals or may  damage property.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for improper installation which may harm persons and animals and damage property.
Important: The power supply to the appliance must be cut off before any adjustments or maintenance work is done on it.
WARNING:
When using this product, basic precautions should always be taken, including the following: Your bulid-in oven is a classified electrical appliance. As with any electrical appliance and particularly with electric heaters, basic precautions must be followed in order to reduce the risk of fire, burns, electrical shocks and/or other serious injuries or death.

  1. The appliance becomes hot during operation. Take care not to touch the hot parts inside  the oven.

  2.  Always keep children away from the cooker.

  3. During operation direct contact with the cooker may cause bums!

  4.  Ensure that small items of household equipment, including connection leads, do not  touch the hot oven or the hob as the insulation material of this equipment is usually not  resistant to high temperatures.

  5.  Do not leave the cooker unattended when frying. Oils and fats may catch fire due to  overheating or boiling over.

  6. Do not put pans weighing over 15 kg on the opened door of the oven and pans over 25  kg inside the hob.

  7. Do not use harsh cleaning agents or sharp metal objects to clean the door as they can scratch the surface, which could then result in the glass cracking.

  8. Do not use the cooker in the event of a technical fault. Any faults must be fixed by an appropriately qualified and authorized person.

  9. In the event of any incident caused by a technical fault, disconnect the power and report the fault to the service center to be repaired.

  10. The rules and provisions contained in this instruction manual should be strictly observed.

  11. Improper handling may cause damage to the product, cause material damage and cause harm to the user’s health.

  12. The cooker should not be cleaned using steam cleaning equipment.

  13. The panels adjacent to the oven must be made of heat-resistant material.

  14. Cabinets with a veneer exterior must be assembled with glues which can withstand temperature of up to 100°C.

  15. Keep combustible materials, such as: curtains, drapes, furniture, pillows, clothing, linens, bedding, paper, etc., at least 3 feet (1 meter) from the front sides and rear of the heater.

  16. Do not use this unit in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids or their associated vapors may be present.

  17. To reduce the risk of fire, do not place or install this unit in areas where the ventilation or circulation ducts may become blocked.

  18. The unit’s power cord must be connected to a properly grounded and protected, 220- 240V~ electrical outlet. Always use ground fault protection where required by the electrical code.

  19. To reduce the risk of fire, avoid running the power cord under rugs, carpets, etc. Keep the power cord away from high traffic areas where it may pose a tripping hazard.

  20.  Avoid the use of an extension cord, which may overheat and cause a fire.

  21. When transporting or storing the unit, keep it in a dry location, free from dust, excessive vibration or other factors, which may damage the unit.

  22. Do not operate any oven with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return oven to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repaired.

  23. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.

  24. Use this oven only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.

  25. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
    person responsible for their safety.

  26. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  27. Never add cold water to food on a hot universal tray or baking tray or directly onto food in a hot oven. The steam created could cause serious burns or scalding and the sudden change in temperature can damage the enamel.

  28. Do not lift the oven by the handle.

  29. Make sure that the power cord does not touch sharp edges and hot surfaces.

  30. If the product has been at a temperature below 0 °C for some time, it should be kept in room conditions for at least 2 hours before switching on.

  31. Do not use outdoors or in conditions of high humidity

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the  hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements. Don’t let children get near the appliance
WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off before replacing the lamp, to avoid the  possibility of electric shock.

DESIGNATION

The oven is a high-tech device and is designed for cooking your dishes. Comfortable adjustment of operating modes will allow you to cook dishes of any complexity. The oven is perfect for baking, baking meat, vegetables, for working with dough and blanks, as well as other products.
HOW TO SAVE ENERGY
Using energy in a responsible way not only saves money but also helps the environment. So let’s save energy! And this is how you can do it.
Do not uncover the pan too often (a watched pot never boils!)
Do not open the oven door unnecessarily often.
Switch off the oven in good time and make use of residual heat.
For long cooking times, switch off heating zones 5 to 10 minutes before finishing cooking, this saves up to 20% on energy.
Only use the oven when cooking larger dishes.
Meat of up to 1 kg can be prepared more economically in a pan on the cooker hob.
Make use of residual heat from the oven.
If the cooking time is more than 40 minutes, switch off the oven 10 minutes before the end time.
Important! When using the timer, set appropriately shorter cooking times according to the dish being prepared.
Make sure the oven door is properly closed.
Heat can leak through spillages on the door seals.
Clean up any spillages immediately.
Do not install the cooker in the direct vicinity of refrigerators/freezers.
Otherwise energy consumption increases unnecessarily.

BEGINNING

During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment.
All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly; they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol.
Caution! During unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene bags, polystyrenene pieces, etc.) should be kept out of reach of children.
Removable side racks:
If you want to clean the inside of the oven, you can remove the side racks from the side walls of the oven chamber. Thus, your device will retain its appearance and function properly for a long time.timberk T-OV60180 Electric

Before using for the first time

  1. The oven must not be operated until it has been correctly installed.
  2. To avoid fire, remove all transport protection materials and ensure that the oven is free of residual packaging items and accessories (e.g. foam, cardboard, grill tray, grill rack, etc.).
  3. Clean the oven cavity and accessories with soapy water and a soft cloth.
  4. Open kitchen windows and cooker hoods to maintain high ventilation.
  5. Do not let children or pets into the kitchen and close the doors of adjacent rooms.
  6. After connecting the power, activate the oven mode, time, and temperature in the table below to remove odors in the cavity.
  7. After the first use, please open the oven door at a small angle and wait for the cooling to complete.

INSTALLATION

Installation Important Instructions
WARNING

  1. The safe operation of this appliance can only be guaranteed if it has been installed to a professional standard in accordance with these installation instructions. The installer shall be liable for any damage resulting from incorrect installation.
  2. The entire installation process requires two professional installers. Wear dry protective gloves during installation to avoid scratch or electric shock.
  3. Fitted units must be heat-resistant up to 90°C, and adjacent unit fronts up to 70°C.
  4. Please use a 16A socket.

INSTALLATION SAFEGUARDS

  1. Do not install the appliance behind a decorative door or the door of a kitchen unit, as this may cause the appliance to overheat.
  2. Check the appliance for damage after unpacking it. Do not connect the appliance if it has been damaged in transit.
  3. Do not block the vent of the appliance and the gap between the cabinet and the  appliance.
  4. Use extreme caution when moving or installing the appliance. It is very heavy, do not lift  the appliance by the door handle.
  5. If the power cord or power plug is damaged, stop using the appliance immediately, to avoid fire, electric shock or other injuries.

NOTE

  1. Be very careful when moving or installing the appliance to avoid damage to the appliance or damage to the cabinets.
  2. Before starting up the appliance, remove all packaging materials and accessories from the cavity.
  3. The power socket shall be accessible to users (such as next to the cabinet) for easy power-off.
  4. After installation is complete, make sure that the power plug is firmly inserted into the socket.
  5. Please refer to the “Cabinet Diagram” for the requirements of net depth of the cabinet. The clearance between the cabinet bottom board and the rear board (or wall) shall not be less than 50 mm. (see Fig. 7, 10).
  6. The kitchen area should be dry and aired and equipped with efficient ventilation.
  7. When installing the oven, easy access to all control elements should be ensured.
  8. This is a built-in oven, and its back wall and one side wall can be placed next to a high piece of furniture or a wall. Coating or veneer used on fitted furniture must be applied with a heat-resistant adhesive (100℃).This prevents surface deformation or detachment of the coating.
  9. Make an opening with the dimensions given in the diagram for the oven to be fitted.
  10. Make sure the mains plug is disconnected and then connect the oven to the mains supply
  11. Insert the oven completely into the opening.

Installation steps

  1. Please customize the cabinet according to the “Cabinet Diagram”.
  2. Before installation, please check for normal power socket and appropriate grounding, and check whether the cabinet dimension meets the installation requirements.
  3. Place the appliance in designated locations in the kitchen, install it in a vertical cabinet, and connect the power supply.
  4. To locate the mounting fixing holes, open the appliance door and look at the side frame of the appliance
  5. Fix the appliance to the cabinet with two rubber plugs A and screws B provided with the appliance.

WARNING:
The appliance must not be installed behind a decorative door in order to avoid overheating.

Electrical connection
Warning!
All electrical work should be carried out by a suitably qualified and authorized electrician.
No alterations or willful changes in the electricity supply should be carried out.
The device is equipped with a cable with a plug. To connect the appliance to the mains, connect the plug to an electrical outlet.

OPERATION

Regular operation

  1. Turn knob K1 to select the oven functions.
  2. Turn knob K2 to adjust the cooking time.
  3. Turn knob K3 to adjust the temperature.
  4. When cooking is finished, turn all knobs to the “ ” position.

NOTE:
Activation of the oven will occur only after setting the values on all three knobs on the control panel (K1, K2, K3).
If you are not going to use a timer, or if the cooking time of your dish is less than 15 or more than 120 minutes, you need to set the manual mode. To set the manual mode, turn the timer knob K2 to the “ ” position. If the cooking time K2 is not set, the oven will not start working.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the power supply before cleaning and maintenance.
In order to ensure the life of the oven, clean it in time after cooking.
Cleaning steps are as follows:

  1. After cooking, wait for the oven to cool completely.
  2. Remove oven accessories, rinse with warm water and dry.
  3. Remove food residues and oil stains from the oven cavity.
  4. Clean the oven surface with a soft cloth dampened with detergent and dry.
  5. Start the water clean function as follows: (HydroClean)
  6. Add about 250 ml of purified water and an appropriate amount of dish soap to the cavity and stir well.
  7. With the oven door closed, turn Knob K1 to the “ ” position.
  8. Turn knob K2 to the “30 ” position.
  9. Turn knob K3 to the “100 oC ” position.
  10. After the water clean function is completed, wait for the oven to cool completely. Then dry the furnace oven cavity with clean absorbent sponge or soft cloth.

NOTES:

  1. Do not use sharp cleaning tools, hard brush and corrosive cleaning products, so as not to damage the oven and its accessories.
  2. Do not use rough scrubbing agent or sharp metal spatula to clean the door glass.

Do not use hard abrasive cleaners or hard metal scrapers to clean the glass of the oven door, as they can scratch the surface, which as a result may break into small fragments.
Lamp Replacement

  1. Switch off and disconnect the power from the oven. Ensure that the internal parts are cool before touching internal parts.
  2. Remove the lamp cover by turning it counter-clockwise (note, it may be stiff), replace the bulb with a new one of the same type – halogen 25 W.
  3. Insert the new bulb, which should be resistant to 300°C. For replacement bulbs contact your local service centre.
  4. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician for help.

ATTENTION:
Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains before replacing the lamp, in order to avoid electric shock.
Removing the door

  1. To remove the door, open it completely. Then pull the buckle on the door hinge back.timberk T-OV60180 Electric Built in Oven - fig 11
  2. Close the door at an angle of approximately 30°. Hold the door on each side. Lift and slowly pull the door out of the oven.timberk T-OV60180 Electric Built in Oven - fig 12
  3. Open the door swivel bracket assembly, see the action in the following figure.timberk T-OV60180 Electric Built in Oven - fig 13
  4. Lift the inner glass of the door and pull it out, then remove the middle glass of the door in the same way (optional).timberk T-OV60180 Electric Built in Oven - fig 14

Attention! Do not pull the oven door and be careful when handling the glass.
Attention! Please note that the hinge springs may loosen and cause injury.
Attention! Do not lift or carry the oven by the door handle

TROUBLESHOOTING

In the event of an emergency, you should:

  • switch off all working units of the cooker.
  • disconnect the mains plug.
  • call the service center.
  • Some minor faults can be fixed by referring to the instructions given in the table below.
  • Before calling the customer support center or the service center check the following points that are presented in the table.

UTILIZATION RULES

**** The symbol on the unit, packing materials and/or documentations means used electrical  and electronic units should not be toss in the garbage with ordinary household garbage. These units should be pass to special receiving point.
For additional information about actual system of the garbage collection, address to the local authority.
Valid utilization will help to save valuable resources and avoid negative work on the public health and environment which happens with incorrect using garbage.
After the lifetime of the device expires, it should be recycled in compliance with the laws, rules and methods in region of recycling. Detailed information about the recycling of the device, you can receive from a representative of the local authorities, after providing full information about the device.
The manufacturer and authorized organization of the manufacturer do not carry responsibility for the fulfillment by the Buyer of the requirements of legislation on utilization and methods of utilization of the device selected by the Buyer. The lifetime of the device is indicated in the warranty card. Warranty period for the device and warranty terms are specified in the warranty card. The warranty card is an integral part of the documentation supplied with this unit. If there is no warranty card in the delivery set, ask for it from the Seller. The warranty card provided by the Seller must conform to the manufacturer’s form.
The manufacturer and the authorized organization of the manufacturer remove responsibility for any possible harm which can be caused to people, animals or property directly or indirectly, if this harm occurred as a result of noncompliance with the rules and operating conditions, installation of the device, intentional or reckless actions of the user- and / or third parties, as well as in situations caused by natural and / or anthropogenic accidents.
