Product Usage Instructions

Assembling the Device
To assemble the 10 MAX Bugatti Electric Scooter, follow these steps:

  1. Take the scooter out of the packaging.
  2. Unfold the scooter and ensure it locks securely in place.
  3. Check that all components, including the handlebars and tires, are properly attached.

Operating the Device
To operate the 10 MAX Bugatti Electric Scooter:

  1. Ensure the scooter is fully charged (see “Charging the Device” section).
  2. Press the power button once to turn on the scooter.
  3. Use the speed mode button to select your desired speed mode (Eco, Comfort, or Sport).
  4. Press the headlight icon to turn on/off the headlight.
  5. Press the ambient icon to turn on/off the ambient light.
  6. Do not use the touchscreen while the scooter is in motion.

Charging the Device
To charge the 10 MAX Bugatti Electric Scooter:

  1. Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  2. Connect the charger to a power source and plug it into the charging port.
  3. Wait for the battery to fully charge. The battery status indicator will show the charging progress.
  4. Once fully charged, unplug the charger from the scooter.

Folding Double-Lock Mechanism

Power Button Functions

  • Power on: Single-press the power icon
  • Power off: Long-press the power icon

Switching between MPH and KMH
The default distance unit is set to miles. Long-press the headlight icon and ambient light icon to switch the miles/km mode.

M Button Speed Mode Functions
Single-press the speed mode icon or single-press the power icon to adjust the speed mode

  1. Eco mode(15 mph)
  2. Comfort mode (18 mph)
  3. Sport mode(22 mph)

Battery Status Indicator
Battery status will decrease every 2 small bars during power consumption. When battery consumption reaches near 0% it will flash and automatically power off.

Headlight Function
Single-press the headlight icon to turn it on/off or double-press the power icon to turn the headlight on/off.

Ambient Light Function
Single-press the ambient icon to turn on/off.

Cruise Control Function

  • The cruise control function is set to active in default.
  • The cruise control function icon light will turn on when it is enabled on the device.
  • The blinking icon light indicates that the cruise control function has been activated on the device.

Single Trip Distance/Total Mileage View
The default mileage view is set to single trip distance. Long-press the speed mode icon and cruise function icon to view the total mileage. The total mileage is visible for 3-seconds and returns back to single trip distance view.

PASS CODE PROTECTION FUNCTION

Enable/disable the password function
Enter default passcode “0000” to start device. Long-press the ambient light icon and cruising function icon at the same time, it will enable/disable the password function. (Password is stored in memory setting)

Password input
Use the headlight icon , ambient light icon, speed mode icon, and cruising functions icon to input passcode. Choose digits range 0-9 from left to right.

  • 1st digit: Touch “Headlight” button.
  • 2nd digit: Touch “Ambient light” button.
  • 3rd digit: Touch “ Speed mode” button.
  • 4th digit : Touch “Cruise control” button.

After the 4-digit password has been set, single-press the power button to enter into standard screen mode.

Reset password

  • Press the “headlight” button and “speed mode” button for more than 5-seconds at the same time to reset the password.
  • Input the old password “0000” before reseting password. Single-press power button to confirm the old password input. Screen will show “0000” and now you can input a new password.
  • Enter the new password and single-press power button to confirm the new password.

Restore initial password
While holding the brake lever, long press the ambient light button and cruising function button for more than 5 seconds, you can restore the initial password “0000”.

Cancel/bypass password function
When screen is on, long-press both “Ambient light” and “Cruise control” buttons for more than 5-seconds. Even if the screen shows “0000”, continue to press the two buttons for few seconds. The screen will return back to standard mode automatically. This confirms the password function has been canceled or bypassed.

ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE

Assembling the scooter
After removing the scooter from the packaging box, place it flat on the ground.

  1. Open kick stand and stabilize electric scooter.
  2. Connect the waterproof cables from the top handlebars and the folding stem. Connect cable “A” to cable “B”.
  3. Connect the top handle bars into the folding stem.
  4. Lock the stem in upright position. A ‘click’ sound indicates the stem is locked in place. Secure using the folding safety lock.
  5. Secure the top handle bars into the folding stem by using the mounting screws and allen wrench provided. Align the 4 screws in place before fastening securely.

Perform testing after installation

  1. Power on inspection

OPERATING THE DEVICE

CAUTION
BEGINNERS LEARNING TO RIDE AN ELECTRIC SCOOTERS ARE AT RISK OF FALLING AND GETTING INJURED. PLEASE WEAR A SAFETY HELMET AND PROTECTIVE GEAR AT ALL TIMES.

Start the electric scooter

  1. The scooter requires a kick off to start.
  2. When the power is on, keep one foot stationary on the deck while the other foot kicks back on the ground. (Figure 1)
  3. As the scooter begins to move in motion, place the other foot back on the deck.
  4. When the scooter is stable, push the right power throttle. (Figure 2)
  5. Hold left hand on the brake lever tightly when braking. Front wheel drum brake and rear electronic brake is in effect simultaneously. (Figure 3)Bugatti-10-MAX-Sereis-Electric-Scooter-fig- \(16\)

CHARGING THE DEVICE

CAUTION
DEVICE DOES NOT POWER ON WHILE CHARGING ONLY USE CHARGING ADAPTER SUPPLIED IN THIS PACKAGE TO CHARGE THIS DEVICE. (FIGURE 1)

Note : When the battery power is out, charge it in time to avoid damage to the battery.

  • Please unplug the charging cable from the charging port when charging is complete.
  • Do not over charge the battery.
  • Do not leave unattended while charging.

Charging the electric scooter

  1. The charging port cap is located on the front right of the scooter. (Figure 2)
  2. Open the dust-proof cap and insert charging cable into the charging port. (Figure 3)
  3. A red light indicates the charge is in progress.
  4. A green light indicates the charging is complete.

FOLDING DOUBLE -LOCK MECHANISM

CAUTION
SET THE KICKSTAND TO STABILIZE THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER BEFORE FOLDING. LOWER THE WEIGHTED FOLDING STEM WITH CARE.

Power off to fold electric scooter

  1. Lift up the 1st safety lock. (Figure 1)
  2. Open the 2nd safety lock. (Figure 2)
  3. Fold the stem to the rear part of the scooter.
  4. Lift the hook buckle on the rear mud guard to fold.
  5. Secure the hook and buckle together.(Figure 4)
  6. Folding is complete. (Figure 5)

The folding double-lock mechanism adds a second layer of protection. If the folding lever is loosened for any reason while riding, a second safety measure is in place, where the scooter pole still remains secure. When folding back, there is a semi-automatization system in place, in order to help ease the fold process.

TRANSPORT THE DEVICE

CAUTION
AFTER FOLDING, YOU CAN TAKE THE SCOOTER TO THE BUS, METRO OR VEHICLE CAR TRUNK.

Transport the scooter

  • Leave the kickstand at a stabilized position.
  • Lift the electric scooter from the folding stem.
  • Carry with care.

SAFETY

CAUTION
PLEASE USE PROPER PRECAUTION WHEN OPERATING THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER. DO NOT HANG BACKPACKS OR OTHER OBJECTS ON THE HANDLEBARS WHEN RIDING THE SCOOTER.

  • When the scooter is turned on and needs to be moved, please do not press the thumb power throttle. (Figure 1)

  1. Do not drive the scooter in the rain.
  2. Do not press power throttle to accelerate when going downhill. Proceed with caution.
  3. Do not operate at high speed on bumpy roads
  4. Do not ride over steps more than 0.75 inches at high speeds.

OPERATE SAFELY

CAUTION
PLEASE USE PROPER PRECAUTION WHEN OPERATING THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER.

  1. Hold both handlebars while operating electric scooter. Do not drive with one hand.(Figure 1)
  2. Do not lift one foot or do other dangerous actions while operating electric scooter.(Figure 2)
  3. Do not drive in water with a depth of more than 0.75 inches.(Figure 3)
  4. If operating the electric scooter at high-speed, do not swing the scooter body or turn the handlebars excessively. Keeps scooter steady and operate with caution.(Figure 4)

MAINTENANCE

CAUTION
ADHERE TO THE MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS WHEN THE SCOOTER HAS BEEN IN USE FOR A LENGTHLY TIME.

Cleaning & storage maintenance

  1. Use a soft damp cloth to wipe away any stains.(Figure 1)
  2. Store electric scooter in a cool dry place when not in use. (Figure 2)
  3. Do not leave electric scooter out in the sun, extreme hot temperatures or freezing temperatures as this can cause rapid aging of the outer body and tires as well as reduce battery life.Bugatti-10-MAX-Sereis-Electric-Scooter-fig- \(27\)

Brake maintenance

  1. If the brake is loose, turn the adjusting nut on in a counterclockwise direction. (Figure 3)
  2. If the brake is too tight, turn the adjusting nut in a clockwise direction.(Figure 4)Bugatti-10-MAX-Sereis-Electric-Scooter-fig- \(28\)

Tube maintenance

  1. If the tube of the scooter is loose, tighten the 4 mounting screws in a counterclockwise direction. Use a 2.5mm hex socket tool to secure.(Figure 5)
  2. Tighten the two screws of the stem base in a counterclockwise direction using a 5mm hexagon socket tool.(Figure 6)Bugatti-10-MAX-Sereis-Electric-Scooter-fig- \(29\)

Folding stem maintenance

  1. If there is a wide gap between the folding stem, adjust the folding mechanism on the folding base using a 2.5mm hex socket tool. Unscrew the set screw in clockwise direction.(Figure 7)
  2. In a counterclockwise direction, fasten the folding mechanism screw using a 3mm hex socket tool. Use a 2.5mm hex socket tool to tighten the set screw.(Figure 8)Bugatti-10-MAX-Sereis-Electric-Scooter-fig- \(30\)

PRE RIDE CHECKLIST

CAUTION
MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER IS IN GOOD CONDITION BEFORE EVERY TRIP. IF YOU FIND ANYTHING WRONG, DO NOT RIDE BEFORE CORRECTING.

Checklist

  • Make sure the battery is sufficiently charged before riding.
  • Always wear a helmet before riding.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and flat  closed toed shoes before riding.
  • Read the entire User Manual to familiarize  yourself with the electric scooter.
  • Make sure to check that the folding pole is securely tightened on the top and bottom stem.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • The key to safe riding is common sense.
  • Obey all traffic laws.
  • Ride defensively, expect the unexpected.
  • Give pedestrians the right of way.
  • Slow down at intersections and look to the left and right before crossing. Do not ride too fast
  • Do not operate while intoxicated or overly tired.
  • Keep your feet on the deck at all times.
  • Do not ride off road or on rough surfaces. Avoid curbs.
  • Bend your knees while riding on bumpy or uneven pavement to absorb shock and vibration and maintain balance.

WARNING

  • Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, abrasive cleaning solvents or volatile chemical solvents to clean the electric scooter. This can seriously damage the electric scooter and circuitry.
  • Do not wash electric scooter with water.
  • In addition, after charging the electric scooter, no moisture or debris can enter inside and damage the electric scooter.

Battery Warning

  • Do not open or disassemble the battery to prevent electric shock.
  • Avoid contact with metal objects to prevent short circuits.
  • Use only the charger that came with your electric scooter
  • After each use, charge the battery to prolong its service life.
  • If not used regularly, charge the electric scooter every 2 months to maintain the life of the rechargeable battery.

  • For your personal safety, always wear a helmet and body protection.
  • Collisions, falls and loss of control can harm people and objects around you.
  • To ride safely, you must read and follow all the instructions in the user manual.
  • This scooter is not a toy.
  • Not suitable for children under 4 feet tall, under the age of 16 and/or under 66 pounds.
  • Adult supervision is required for riders under the age of 16.
  • The maximum weight capacity is 286 pounds.
  • Pregnant women are prohibited from riding which may cause serious injury or death.
  • This product is designed for single personal use and cannot transport more than one person at a time.
  • This product should only be used in private areas and not on public roads, parks or footpaths.
  • Do not operate in wet/icy surfaces or inclement weather conditions. I.e.- rain, snow, mud and puddles.
  • Do not operate this vehicle after consumption of alcohol or drugs, recreational or otherwise.
  • Do not ride without proper training, at high speeds, on uneven terrain or on slopes.
  • Do not use in or near other vehicles.
  • Avoid using at night or in times of reduced light or visibility.

WHEN DRIVING IN COUNTRIES AND REGIONS WHERE THERE ARE NO RELEVANT NATIONAL STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SCOOTERS, YOU MUST STRICTLY ABIDE BY THE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS OF THIS MANUAL FOR RIDERS. THE MANUFACTURER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT AND JOINT LIABILITIES FOR ALL FINANCIAL, PERSONAL LOSSES, ACCIDENTS, LEGAL DISPUTES, AND ALL OTHER UNFAVORABLE EVENTS THAT CAUSE CONFLICTS OF INTEREST CAUSED BY THE USE BEHAVIORS THAT VIOLATE THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL.

IF YOU FIND ANY ABNORMALITIES SUCH AS OBVIOUS LOOSE PARTS, SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED BATTERY LIFE, SLOW TIRE LEAKS OR EXCESSIVE WEAR, ABNORMAL STEERING NOISE OR MALFUNCTION, PLEASE STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY AND POWER OFF. DO NOT DRIVE FORCIBLY. AND PLEASE CONTACT THE AFTER-SALES SERVICE PHONE TO OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE OR REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES.
  6. CLASS ACTION WAIVER. IF PERMITTED BY, AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY, APPLICABLE LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE IN COURT OR AN ARBITRATION PROCEEDING ANY DISPUTE AS A CLASS ACTION, EITHER AS A MEMBER OF A CLASS OR AS A REPRESENTATIVE, OR TO ACT AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL.   7. 00 NOT USE ALCOHOL, GASOLINE, KEROSENE OR OTHER CORROSIVE CHEMICAL SOLVENTS TO CLEAN THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER, AND IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE A PRESSURE GUN TO SPRAY AND WASH, OTHERWISE IT MAY GET AN ELECTRIC SHOCK OR CAUSE SERIOUS FAILURE DUE TO INTERNAL WATER.
  8. D0 NOT USE OTHER TYPES OR BRANDS OF BATTERY PACKS, DO NOT TOUCH THE BATTERY CONTACTS, AND DO NOT DISASSEMBLE OR PUNCTURE THE SHELL. AVOID METAL OBJECTS CONTACTING THE BATTERY CONTACTS AND CAUSING SHORT CIRCUITS. OTHERWISE, IT MAY RESULT IN BATTERY DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY. ONLY USE THE ORIGINAL CHARGER TO CHARGE, OTHERWISE THERE IS A DANGER OF DAMAGE OR FIRE.
  9. 00 NOT PLACE THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER OR ITS BATTERY PACK IN A CAR EXPOSED TO EXCESSIVE HEAT FROM HIGH TEMPERATURES. IT IS FORBIDDEN TO PUT THE BATTERY PACK INTO A FIRE, OTHERWISE IT MAY CAUSE THE BATTERY TO FAIL, OVERHEAT, AND EVEN CAUSE A RISK OF FIRE. WHEN DON’T USE SCOOTER FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS, PLEASE FULLY CHARGE IT FIRST, STORE IN A COOL AND DRY PLACE, AND FULLY CHARGE IT EVERY 60 DAYS, OTHERWISE THE BATTERY MAY BE DAMAGED AND THIS DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
  10. ONLY USE THE PARTS AND ACCESSORIES APPROVED BY US,PLEASE DO NOT MODIFY YOUR ELECTRIC SCOOTER WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRIC SCOOTER CAUSED BY UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATION IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. WE WILL NOT BEAR ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY LOSSES, PERSONAL INJURIES, ACCIDENTS, ETC.
