Product Usage Instructions

Charging the iFetch Too

Before using the iFetch Too for the first time, it is crucial to charge it for 24 hours. Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the charging port on the back of the iFetch Too.
  2. Connect the provided charger to the charging port.
  3. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  4. The power button should light up green, indicating that the  iFetch Too is charging. If the power button does not light up, it means the device needs to be charged.

Launching Balls

To ensure successful ball launches, follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure the iFetch Too is fully charged and the power button lights up green.
  2. Check if the launching wheels inside the device are spinning when you hear the motor running. If they are not spinning, there may be an issue with the device.
  3. Use a tennis ball of appropriate size and avoid using excessively slobbery balls, as they may not launch properly.
  4. To select higher launch distances, locate the slider switch below the power button. Push the switch up (red) to unlock the distance settings.
  5. Press the power button to cycle through the available launch distances.
  6. By default, the iFetch Too is shipped with the slider switch down (white), which locks the launch distance to 10 feet.

Battery Maintenance

Proper battery maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of the iFetch Too. Follow these guidelines:

  • Recharge the battery after each use and before it gets fully drained to protect the battery.
  • If the battery charge is fully drained, it needs to be reconditioned. Keep the charger plugged in and connected to the  iFetch Too for a minimum of 8 hours, preferably 24 hours, without  launching any balls.
  • Repeat the process of draining and fully charging the battery a couple of times if it remains sluggish after reconditioning.
  • To prevent the need for reconditioning, charge the iFetch Too  battery at least every three months.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting Tips

  • It is very important to charge the Fetch Too for 24 hours prior to the first use.
  • Make sure the power button lights up green, if not, the iFetch Too needs to be charged.
  • If you hear the motor running, but the ball doesn’t launch, look inside to make sure the launching wheels are spinning. If they are, the ball might not be launching if it is the wrong size, or if it is too slobbery.
  • Another reason that a ball might not launch is if the iFetch Too is clogged with dirt or ball fuzz. To clean the iFetch Too, with the unit powered off feed a damp cloth down into the tube and out the front launch area. Pulling the cloth back and forth (similar to flossing your teeth) will take care of one level of dirt. As a bonus (and to get a better clean on the wheels) firmly hold the cloth from the top end and then carefully turn on the unit and press in the ball trigger to cause the wheels to spin about the cloth.
  • To select the higher launch distances, make sure the slider switch that is below the power button is up (red), then push the power button to cycle through the distance settings. The Fetch Too is shipped with the slider down (white) locking the launch distance to 10 feet.
  • Normally the time to fully charge an iFetch Too will be, at most, 8 hours. A full charge will then provide 200 full distance launches and will continue for another 100-300 launches at, potentially, decreasing distances.
  • We recommend recharging the battery after each use and before the battery charge gets fully drained (i.e. the Fetch Too button light flashes red and the unit shuts automatically)to protect the battery.
  • If the battery has become completely drained, it will need to be reconditioned. To recondition the battery, keep the charger plugged in and connected to the iFetch Too for a minimum of 8 hours, preferably 24 hours without launching any balls. The battery might remain sluggish until this process of draining it and fully charging it has been repeated a couple times.
  • To prevent the need to recondition your battery, make sure to charge the Fetch Too battery at least every three months.
