GE 18279 Indoor Wireless Wall Switch Lighting Control

  • Receiver
  • Wall Switch Remote Transmitter
  • ( 1) 12V A23 Battery ( installed)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Plug Receiver into a standard indoor outlet.
  2. Plug device to be controlled into the outlet on the Receiver:
  3. Make sure outlet supplying Receiver is powered.
  4. Make sure lamp or device is turned ON.

IMPORTANT: The device will remain OFF until the Receiver is activated by the Transmitter.

REMOTE INSTRUCTIONS
Open the battery comportment on the transmitter and remove the battery saver insert.
You con now control your device remotely using the Remote Transmitter: A light on the Receiver turns on when the unit is activated remotely, indicating that power is being supplied to the lamp or device.

REPLACING BATTERY

  1. Remove bock battery cover.
  2. Remove old battery.
  3. Install new 12V type A23 alkaline battery, noting polarity.
  4. Replace battery cover.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If indicator light is not activated by pressing the switch …

  1. Make sure switch is depressed and held for at least 1 second.
  2. Verify battery orientation, noting polarity
  3. Replace the battery (USE ONLY 12V type A23 Alkaline).
  4. Place the switch in a new location.
