IMPORTANT SAFETY CAUTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed. These include the following:

  • Read all instructions. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Always switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply if it is left unattended.
  • If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced, take the appliance to an authorised technical support device.
  • Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before use.
  • Connect the appliance to a grounded socket and make sure that it is inserted correctly.

  • Keep the air fryer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old. Children shall not play with the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Never put the product against the wall or other products. There should be at least 10 cm of free space on the back side, left/right sides, and the upper side of the product. Do not put things on top of the air fryer, for this will prevent the airflow and reduce the effect of hot air heating.
  • The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.
  • The product must be watched by someone while operating.
  • During the period of fat-free frying, steam with high temperature will be emitted from the air outlet opening. The hands and face should be away from the steam and the air outlet opening. And one should take care of the hot steam and air while moving the fryer away from the product.
  • If the product is smoking, unplug it immediately. Remove the fryer away from the product after it has stopped smoking.
  • Do not soak the housing into water, or wash it under the tap, for there are electric components and heating components in the housing.
  • Do not let water or other liquid flow into the housing, in case electric shocks might take place.
  • While the product is in use, do not cover the air inlet and outlet opening.
  • Never pour oil into the fryer, for this may cause a fire.
  • Do not touch the inside of the product while it is working, as it can become very hot.
  • This product is manually operated, thus never connect the product with an external timer or independent remote control system.

USE

  • Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed. Remove the glue and labels on the product
  • Before using the product for the first time, clean the frying pan thoroughly with hot water, detergent and a non-abrasive sponge. Notice: A dishwasher machine can be used to wash these components.
  • Clean the inside and outside of the product with a wet cloth.
  • Put the product on a surface that is leveled, even, and stable, do not put the product on a surface that is not heat-resistant.
  • Put the frying pan/pot into the fryer correctly.
  • Pull the wire out of the wire capsule at the bottom of the product. Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
  • Connect the mains plug to an earthed wall socket.
  • Put the food ingredients into the frying pan/pot.
  • Slip the frying pan back to the fat-free fryer.
  • Do not use the fryer before putting in the frying pan. Notice: Do not touch the pan during and sometimes after use, as it gets very hot. Only hold the pan by the handle.
  • Adjust the temperature control on the display to the desired temperature.
  • Determine how long it takes to cook ingredients.
  • To open the appliance, adjust the timer on the display to the desired cooking time.
  • If the appliance is cold to start, the cooking time should be increased by 3 minutes. Note: If necessary, you can also preheat the product without putting ingredients in it. At this point, adjust the timer knob to more than 3 minutes and wait for the heating light to go out (about 3 minutes later). Then put it in the grill and button the timer knob to the cooking time required for adjustment.
  • The heating light comes on.
  • The timer starts the countdown from the set cooking time.
  • The redundant oil from the food ingredients will be collected at the bottom of the frying pan.
  • Some food ingredients require overturning during the middle term of cooking.
  • To overturn the ingredients, hold the handle pull out the frying pan from the product, and then make the turning. After that, slip the frying pan back to the fat-free fryer.
  • The beep of the timer means that the set time has expired. Then pull the frying pan out of the product and put it on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Check to see if the food is cooked well.
  • Do not overturn the frying pan, for this will cause the redundant oil collected at the bottom of the frying pan to leak onto the food ingredients.
  • After cooking with the fat-free fryer, there might be steam jetting out from the fryer.
  • To fetch the big-size or fragile food ingredients, you can use clamps to take them out from the frying pan.
  • After completing the cooking of one batch of food ingredients, the fat-free fryer can be used to cook another batch of food ingredients at any time.

MALFUNCTION AND TREATING METHOD

White smoke came out of the appliance.| You are cooking ingredients with high oil content.| When you cook oily ingredients in an electric oven, a lot of fumes will seep into the frying pan, which will produce white oil, while the frying pan may be hotter than normal, which will not affect the final effect of the product’s fried ingredients.
Oil residue from the last use can also be found in the frying pan.| Make sure you clean the frying pan properly after each use.
Fresh fries are not evenly fried in the electric oven.| You did not soak the potato chips properly before frying| Soak the potato chips in a bowl for at least 30 minutes, then remove them and drain them on kitchen paper.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they don’t spread out when fried.
French fries are not crunchy.| The crunchyness of French fries depends on the amount of oil and water in the fries.| Make sure to drain the potato chips in the correct way before refueling.
Cut the potato chips a little thinner to make them more crunchy.
A little oil can also make it more crunchy.

CLEANING

  • Disconnect the air fryer from the mains and allow it to cool for 30 min. before undertaking any cleaning task. Notice: take out the frying pan, thus, to make the fat-free fryer cool down more quickly.
  • Clean the air fryer housing with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
  • Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
  • Never submerge the air fryer in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
  • Clean the frying pan or the bottom of the frying pan with hot water, detergent and a non-abrasive sponge, please add hot water into the frying pan together with some detergent. Soak the frying pan for 10 minutes.
  • Clean the inside of the product with hot water and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Use a cleaning brush to clean the heating components, and sweep away any remaining food residual.
  • If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use.
  • Dry all parts before its assembly and storage.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • Clean the product each time after use.
  • The inside of the frying pan is covered with a non-sticking painted coat. Do not use metal kitchen wares or abrasive cleaning material to do the cleaning, for this will damage the non-sticking painted coat.

STORAGE

  • Unplug the air fryer from the mains.
  • Before treating or cleaning the product, the product must be given 30 minutes to cool down
  • Clean and dry all parts before storage.
  • If necessary, move it to a position that is out of reach of children and pets.
