DIGITAL FOOD THERMOMETER
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS, SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The following safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk
of electric shock, personal injury or fire. It is important to read all of
these instructions carefully
before using the product, and to save them for future reference or new users.
Read all instructions before use.
- The manufacturer is not liable for consequential damages or for damages to property or persons caused by non-observance of the safety instructions and improper use of the device.
- The device can be used by children from 8 years and above and by persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motor disability, or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed on how to use the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision
- Only use the device for its intended purposes. Do not use the device for other purposes than described in the manual.
- Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. If the device is damaged or defective, replace the device immediately.
- The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the device outdoors.
- The device is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use the device for commercial purposes.
- Do not use the device in locations with high humidity, such as bathrooms and swimming pools.
- Do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, basins, or other vessels containing water.
- Do not use the device in ovens or microwaves.
- Sterilize the thermometer probe each time before use.
- Always wear a heat-resistant mitten when touching the thermometer during or just after use.
- Handle the device with caution and attention. Take care when moving the probe into position to avoid injury or damage due to the pointed end.
- Do not touch the probe with bare hands to avoid injury and burns.
- Do not immerse in liquid, or wet the thermometer unit.
- The device is not intended to handle wet environments and will likely get damaged.
- In any event of becoming wet, dry the device quickly as possible.
- Not suitable to be washed in the dishwasher.
- Clean with a damp cloth avoiding detergents.
- Aggressive detergents will damage the housing, and probes and lead to damaging electronic circuitry.
- Do not leave in a heated environment, above the stated operating temperature range.
- The device is not to be opened, except for the battery compartment, to replace the battery.
- The thermometer is not a service product. Request assistance from an electronic professional for assistance if the unit is not functioning correctly.
- Avoid excessive vibrations, forces, temperature, and humidity levels in order to maintain device in the correct operating condition and have a suitable measurement output. Do not leave the device probe in food whilst cooking. This is to be removed when the temperature is recorded.
- Do not expose to water, direct heat or sunlight.
- Batteries should be disposed of in a responsible manner.
- If the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period, such as over 6 months, remove the battery.
- Operate the device to measure temperatures within the probe specification temperature range for satisfactory and suitable results. Avoiding in doing so will diminish lifetime and product accuracy.
- For household use only.
- Not suitable for industrial or commercial use.
- The measurement temperature is for reference only.
- Save these instructions for future reference.

BATTERY SAFETY
- Use only the batteries mentioned in the manual.
- Do not use old and new batteries together.
- Do not use batteries of different types or brands.
- Do not install batteries in reverse polarity.
- Do not short-circuit or disassemble the batteries.
- Do not expose the batteries to water.
- Do not expose the batteries to fire or excessive heat.
- Batteries are prone to leakage when fully discharged. To avoid damage to the product, remove the batteries when leaving the product unattended for longer periods of time. If the liquid from the batteries comes into contact with skin or clothing, immediately rinse with fresh water.

USE
This pen-style digital is characterized at multi-usage with low power
consumption, high stability, high accuracy, compact structure, and easy
operation. It is much suitable for
measuring the temperature of drinks, milk, coffee, food, and at BBQ.
- Install the AAA battery into the battery compartment according to the marking direction of the rear cover, and close the battery cover.
- Rotate the probe until it’s fully open, and rinse the probe with normal-temperature water.
- Press [ ] to boot, and after a few seconds the screen will display ambient temperature.
- Immerse or insert the probe into an object under test with 2cm depth for 5 seconds. Press [ ] until the upper right corner shows HOLD indicating that the current temperature has been locked. The showing number is the temperature of the object to be measured. Press the [ ] key to unlock it.
- [ T ] is the conversion key for Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- After the temperature measurement is completed, press [ ] to turn it off. Flush the probe with clean water and rotate it back to its original position.
- The device will be shut down if no operation for 10 minutes. 8. Avoid liquid entering the machine.
STORAGE
If necessary, move it to a position that is out of reach of children and pets.
ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY DISPOSAL
Please remove the battery before disposing of the device/ unit. Do not dispose
of old batteries with your household waste, but at a battery collection
station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your municipal authority or
your dealer for information about disposal.
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other
household wastes throughout the US. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return
your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for
environmentally safe recycling.
WARRANTY
- The manufacturer provides a warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, with a minimum of 1 year, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.
- The warranty only covers defects in materials or workmanship.
- The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service center. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
- The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
- Use of force, damage caused by external influences
- Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the installation instructions
