Screen Background Light

Volume Adjustment:

During a call:

  • The PUK code (Personal Unlock Code) is used to unlock a SIM card that has been locked due to entering the wrong PIN code.

Safety and Maintenance

Screen background light

Background light can illuminate the screen. When you power on your phone, the background light will turn on for a certain period. If no key is pressed within the period, the background light will turn off automatically so as to save battery.

To set background light brightness:

During a call

  1. Press [Up Key] to increase the volume.

Assemble the antenna

Charging the battery by adapter

  • When the battery is fixed to the phone, put the Mini USB cable into AC-Adapter Jack.
  • During charging, the screen shows the battery charging icon, when the battery is full, the charging icon will stop rolling.

Install SIM card

  • Always switch the phone off before removing or inserting a SIM card.
  • Open the bottom cover of the battery. Remove the battery; slide the SIM card into the SIM card slot. Make sure that the contact area of the card is facing down, and that the beveled corner matches with the SIM card slot.
  • Put in the battery and install the bottom cover.

Operation

Power on

The device can work on both single battery mode and single charger mode.

  1. Press and hold the [Power key] button until the boot screen appears.
  2. If there is a prompt for a PIN code, please input your PIN code and then press the [OK] key.
  • After powering on, if the SIM card inserted is valid, your phone will automatically search for an available network; if not, it will prompt: Insert SIM or Invalid SIM.

PIN code

  • PIN code is used to prevent illegal use of the user’s SIM card. If your phone has enabled PIN code protection, there will be a prompt for entering the PIN code. If wrong the PIN code is entered three times, the SIM card will be automatically locked.
  • You have to enter a PUK code to unlock it. PIN code is related to the SIM card instead of the phone and is provided by your network service operator.

PUK code

  • PUK code, referring to the personal unlock code, is used to unlock a SIM card that is locked because of the wrong input of the PIN code.
  • If the wrong input of the PUK code exceeds ten attempts, the SIM card will lose efficacy.
  • PUK code is provided by the network service operator.
  • Please contact the operator for the default PIN and PUK.

Power off

  • To power off, please hold [Power key] until the power off screen appears.

Basic Function

Dial Phone

  • In standby state, press the number keys to enter the phone number and then press [Send key] to call.
  • Press [DEL/BACK key] to clear the last digit or hold it to clear all. If the phone number being dialed can be recognized by the phone book, the name of the contact person will be displayed on the dialing screen.
  • Press [Power key] to end a call.
  • Quick dial from the contacts list
  • In standby state, press [DEL/BACK key] to enter the phonebook.
  • Slide the scroll bar to choose a contact you want to dial.
  • Press [Send key] to dial out.
  • Quick dial from the Outcall number list
  • In the standby state, press [Send key] to enter the [Outcall number] list.
  • Slide the scroll bar to select the person you want to call or the number you want to dial. 4.3.3 Press [Send key] to dial out the number.
  • Answer incoming call
  • When there is an incoming call, the incoming call interface will be displayed together with a special ringtone.
  • Press [Send key] to answer calls.
  • Press [Power key] directly to reject the incoming call.
  • If the phone number of a caller can be recognized, the number will be displayed on the incoming call screen.
  • If information about the number is stored in contacts, the caller’s name will also be displayed.
  • If a caller hides his/her number or the network bans call indication, the incoming call is displayed as **.

Terminate call

  1. When there is an incoming call, press [Power key] to reject the call.
  2. During the call, press [Power key] to terminate the current call.

Making emergency calls

As long as you are within the coverage of the network, you can make emergency calls even if you have not registered with the local network or do not have a SIM/UIM card. Enter the local emergency number and then press [Send key] to make an emergency call.

Make international long-distance call

  1. Before an international phone number can be dialed, press the [0] key until the “+” sign appears. The “+” sign tells the network you are making an international call.
  2. Input country code, area code, and phone number.
  3. Press [Send key] to call.

Note: Some networks do not allow”+” for dialing international numbers,you can use 00 instead of”+”

Talk options

  • Key operations as below in the process of call:
  • The phone provides some talk control functions in the process of a call.
  • During the call, press [DEL/BACK key] to back to Home status.
  • During the call, press [Left soft key] to enter the [Options] menu to access the talk control functions.

Hold/Resume talk state

  1. During the call, press [Left soft key] and select [Hold] in the [Options] menu.
  2. To activate the held talk, Press [Left soft key] and select [ Unhold] in the [Options] menu.

Dial the second number

  • During a call, you can dial another number.
  • Press [Left soft key] and select [Add call] to dial the second call,
  • When the second number is put through, the first call will be held automatically.

Answering a second incoming call

  • Please make sure the network supports the call waiting function and the status has been set to Enabled.
  • If there is a second incoming call in the process of the first call, you’ll hear the “Beep” tone and the screen will prompt.
  • Press [Left soft key] to answer the second incoming call.
  • When the second call is put through, the first call will be switched to held state.
  • Press [Power key] to terminate the second call.

Select the current phone number

  • When the second call is answered, press [Send key] to swap between the current call and the held call, and press [Left soft key] to [Options] menu:
  • Swap: to hold the current call and activate the held call
  • Merge: Add held call to conference call.
  • End call: Terminate current call.
  • End Merge: Terminate conference call.
  • Note: Not all networks provide the multi-party service.
  • You can press [Left soft key] in the standby state to enter the main menu. Press [DEL/BACK key] or [Power key] to return to standby mode.

Message

  • In a standby state, enter the [Menu]→[ Message] menu.

Write Message

  • In the edit mode, you can edit SMS content and add recipients.
  • When editing SMS, press the [Left soft key] to enter [options] menu, as listed below:
  • Select: choose and view a message.
  • New message: edit the new message and Send the message to people.
  • Settings: in this mode, you can general settings and SIM Card Settings
  • Delete thread: Delete information
  • Cell broadcasts: Receiving Broadcast Information from Cells
  • Messages in SIM: Insert template message.

Message Setting

  • You can set the function for Text messages, for example: Delivery report, SMS Validity, Manage SIM card messages, Save SMS On SIM, SMS Service Center, Delivery report, Multimedia Message Validity, and so on.
  • Delivery report: Request a delivery report for each message you send
  • Manage SIM card messages: Manage messages stored on your SIM card.
  • Auto-retrieve: Automatically retrieve messages.
  • Roaming auto-retrieve: Automatically retrieve messages while roaming

Contacts

In a standby state, enter the [Menu]→[Contacts] menu.

  1. Move the cursor to the input box to search the contact record quickly, you can input the character or number to search from the records list, and the matched records will list on the LCD。
  2. Press [Left soft key] to enter the [Options] menu, with the following options: Add contact, contacts to display, Import/Export, Batch delete, SIM capacity, Phone Capacity
  • Add contact: Create a new contact record. Store the contact to the phone or SIM card.
  • Contacts to display: you can choose to display ALL contacts, phones, or SIM cards.
  • Import/Export: Import/Export contacts from internal/external storage.
  • Batch delete: Delete all contacts.

Call logs

  • In the standby state, enter the [Menu]→[Call logs] menu.

Missed Call:

  • Press [left key] to view the missed calls list.

Dialed calls :

  • Press [left key] to view the dialed calls list.

Received Calls:

  • Press [ left key] to view the received calls list.

Tools

  • In the standby state, enter the [Menu]→[Tools] menu. You have a choice here for Calendar, Calculator, Bluetooth

Calendar

  • In the standby state, enter the [Menu]→[Tools] menu. The following are the functions.
  • Today: Move the cursor to the current data in the calendar interface.
  • Select Date: Move the cursor to the special data in the calendar interface.

Calculator

  • In the standby state, enter [Menu]→ [Tools]→[Calculator] menu.

Key operations:

  • [UP key]: Press for Addition;
  • [Down key]: Press for Subtraction;
  • [Left key]: Press for Multiplication;
  • [Right key] : Press for Division ;
  • [Left soft key]: Equal to “=”, press to display the calculation result.
  • [DEL/BACK key]: Press to clear contents that have been entered.
  • *[]:** press to enter “-”.

FM Radio

  • In a standby state, enter [Menu]→FM Radio, and also you can press the [FM] key to enter the FM menu directly. The following are the options:
  • Radio List: Channel the new FM from the list.
  • Turn Off: Exit the FM player.

  • In the standby state, enter the [Menu]→[Settings] menu. The following are the settings:

Call settings

  • In the state, you can enter check your SIM card function, you can setting voice mail, Fixed dialing numbers, Call forwarding, Call barring settings, and Additional settings.
  • Voice call: You can set voice mail, call forwarding, call barring, and so on.
  • Voice mail: Select the voice mail service operator and the voice number.
  • Call divert: Divert the incoming calls to another phone number. This function requests the network’s support. Please contact your operator for details.
  • Call barred: Use the menu to set the call bar. It contains All outgoing calls, Cancel all, and Change barring password. This function requests the network’s support. Please contact your operator for details.
  • Additional settings: You can set the Caller ID and call waiting function.
  • Also, you can choose [General Settings], Setting ID dial list, Call recording, Fade-in ringer, and SpeedDial.
  • IP dial list: Add IP Phone number, Then select the IP dialing from the left-click menu of the dialing interface.
  • Call recording: Turn on /Off automatic recording.
  • Fade-in ringer: When enabled, incoming call ringer volume will be turned up.
  • Speed dial: We can set nine groups of speed dial numbers, When we press the 2 number key, after 3 seconds, the second group’s number will be automatically allocated.
  • Family : Set the number for [M1~M5] key

Display You can set the below items.

  • Contrast: Adjust the LCD brightness
  • Backlight: we can set the time of screen timeout, as 15 seconds,30 seconds, and so on.

Security

  • Set up SIM card lock : You can set PIN lock to On or Off and change PIN. The default PIN code is provided by your SIM operator.
  • Screen lock: Set the screen lock and password.
  • Unlock method: when the device is in standby status, press #804#123456#, and press the green key(send key) to unlock.

Date and Time

  • Set time zone, time/date, date format, and time format

Language:

  • Set the phone language.

Schedule on/off

  • Set schedule power on or power off.

Storage

  • device storage in internal storage or SD card.

Memory Cleanup

  • Cleaning up system garbage, Releasing memory space.

FAQ

  • If any problems are encountered while using the phone, please refer to the FAQ’s below. If the problems still exists, please contact the manufacturer or service provider.
  • Enter PIN code” appears on the screen
  • Enter the valid PIN code of your SIM card. Please contact your operator immediately if you do not know the code.
  • Enter PUK code” appears on the screen
  • Your SIM card will be locked if you enter the wrong PIN code three times. To unlock your SIM card, you have to enter the PUK code. Please contact your operator for details.
  • Insert SIM card” appears on the screen
  • Make sure the SIM card is correctly installed. Check if the SIM card works properly. It may have defects or faults. If so, please contact your operator for details.
  • “Not in service area. Network failure.” is displayed
  • Check the signal intensity indicator. If there is no signal, you may be in the basement or network blind area in a building. Please move to another location to receive a signal.
  • If in your situation you are not covered by a network, please contact your operator for details.
  • Poor sound quality, echo, or noise makes communication difficult.
  • Hang up your phone and dial again. Your network may connect the phone to a line with better communication quality.
  • Standby time declines
  • The signal at your location is weak, making the phone search for the signal for a long time. When you don’t want to answer any calls, please turn off your phone’s power for the time being to help preserve battery life.
  • It is also possible that the battery has been used for a long time and is approaching its life span. In this case, please replace the battery.
  • Phone fails to boot
  • Check battery volume or charge the battery. The battery is probably uncharged. Please charge your phone until the battery is restored, then try to power it on again.
  • Cannot send a short message
  • Please check the SMSC address if the correct number has been set. Perhaps you have not opened the SMS service; the Recipient of the short message is invalid.
  • Can’t charge

There are three possibilities:

  1. The charger of your phone does not work properly. You can contact the nearest service provider or dealer;
  2. Ambient temperature is not appropriate. Please change the charging environment;
  3. Poor contact. Please check the plug of your charger.
  • Cannot add entries into the phonebook
  • The phonebook is full. You will have to delete other entries to free up space.
  • Cannot select some functions
  • The service is not available or the location network does not support this service. Please contact your operator for details.

Body-worn Operation
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0mm must be maintained between the user’s body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or approved antenna.
