Door Sensor

Mounting Kit

Setting up your Door Sensor

1. Follow instructions and get your compatible ZigBee hub setup.

2. The Door Sensor comes with two-parts, A and B(Figure 1 ). Press the button at the bottom of part A to open its rear cover(Figure 2 ). Then Insert two AAA batteries inside the sensor.

3. Configure the Door Sensor with your ZigBee hub.(For help and troubleshooting related to configure device with ZigBee hub, visit the hub’s user manual)

4. To factory reset the sensor, long press the inside button of the sensor to place to place it in pairing mode( Figure 3 ). Release the hold when you see the red LED turn on. After you release the hold, LED will change to a blue fast blinking light that indicates
   the sensor is now ready to be setup.

5. Replace part A’s rear cover and make sure it is closed well.

Using your Door Sensor

1. Clean and dry the installation area. Remove the protective layer of double-sided tape and adhere Sensor part A and Sensor part B to the door and door frame as shown. Please ensure that the two parts’horizontal installation gap is less than or equal to 5/8
   inches(Figure 4 )

• Sensors are designed for indoor use only and not for use with iron doors or gates. The two small marks on both parts should be aligned and facing each other. 2. Pairing with SmartThings

Compatible Devices: SmartThings Hub 2015 & 2018, Aeotec Smart Home Hub
App: SmartThings App

Pairing Steps:

1. Open the back cover of the Door Sensor and install the batteries, the LED indicator flashes rapidly in blue, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. Open the SmartThings App, tap “+” on the upper right corner to “Add device” and then tap “Scan” to “Scan for nearby devices”.
3. The Door Sensor will be paired with the SmartThings hub in a few seconds.
4. Assign actions or create routines with the Door Sensor.

Pairing with Home Assistant

Pairing Steps:.

1. Open the back cover of the Door Sensor and install the batter- ies, the LED indicator flashes rapidly in blue, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. Make sure Home Assistant Integrations ZigBee Home Automation Setup is ready, then go to “Configuration” page, click “integration”.
3. Then click the “Devices” on the ZigBee item, the click “Add Devices”.
4. After the pairing is completed, it will show up on the page.
5. Back to “Devices” page, click to enter the control interface.
6. Click “+” belongs to Automation and then you can add different actions to Door Sensor.

Pairing with Third Reality Hub

Compatible Devices: Third Reality Smart Hub
App: Third Reality App

Pairing Steps:

1. Open the back cover of the Door Sensor and install the batteries, the LED indicator flashes rapidly in blue, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. Open Third Reality App, go to device page, tap “+” in the upper right, choose “Contact Sensor”, tap Pair on the bottom to start the pairing process.
3. Tap “Complete” to get back to main interface.3.
4. Tap Door Sensor icon on device page for more information on the Door Sensor.
5. Enabling ThirdReality Skill in Alexa Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Third Reality SKILL in your Alexa app, tap “DISCOVER DEVICES”, it will be added to your Alexa app, then you can create routines with it.

Pairing with Hubitat

Pairing Steps:

1. Open the back cover of the Door Sensor and install the batteries, the LED indicator flashes rapidly in blue, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. Visit your Hubitat Elevation hub device page from your web browser, select the Devices menu item from the sidebar, then select Discover Devices in the upper right.
3. Click Start ZigBee Pairing button after you select a ZigBee device type, the Start ZigBee Pairing button will put the hub in ZigBee pairing mode for 60 seconds.
4. After the pairing is completed, you can rename it if needed, then tap “save”.
5. Now you can see the Door Sensor on the Devices page.5.

Pairing with Amazon Echo

App: Amazon Alexa App
ZigBee mode : Directly Pairing with Echo devices with built-in
ZigBee hubs such As Echo V4, Echo Plus V1 & V2, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, and Eero 6 & 6 pro.

Pairing Steps:

1. Ask Alexa to check for updates before pairing the Door Sensor with your Echo device.
2. Open the back cover of the Door Sensor and install the batteries, the LED indicator flashes rapidly in blue, indicating it is in pairing mode.
3. Ask Alexa to discover devices, or follow on-screen instructions to add device in your Alexa app, the Door Sensor will be paired with your Echo device in a few seconds.
4. Tap Door Sensor in ALL DEVICES list to enter the device page, you can create routine with it.
