Product Usage Instructions

General Notes

  • Before using the tyre inflator and puncture sealant kit, please ensure that you have read and understood the safety instructions provided above.
  • Check the tyre for physical signs of damage. If the hole or tear is greater than 6mm, it is probably too big to fix and you should consider seeking assistance.
  • Do not pull out any objects stuck in the tyre, as this might repair harder to achieve. If possible, work on the tyre with the hole/tear near the lowest point of the tire, as the sealant will work better that way.

Operation

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Stop the vehicle somewhere safely away from other traffic to avoid causing obstructions.
  2. Ensure the handbrake is engaged and the car ignition is turned off.
  3. Turn on the vehicle’s hazard lights to alert other road users.
  4. If available, wear a high-vis vest and set up a warning triangle for added safety.

Step 2: Connect the Tyre Inflator

  1. Locate the tire valve on the flat or deflated tire.
  2. Connect the tire valve connector from the inflator kit to the valve securely.

Step 3: Inflate the Tyre

  1. Turn on the tire inflator using the On/Off switch.
  2. Monitor the pressure gauge and inflate the tire to the recommended pressure level.
  3. Do not exceed the maximum specified pressure for the tire.

Step 4: Deflate and Seal

  1. If necessary, use the deflation valve on the inflator kit to adjust the pressure.
  2. Once the desired pressure is reached, turn off the inflator.
  3. The emergency puncture sealant will automatically seal any small holes or tears in the tire.

Step 5: Final Checks

  1. After sealing, check the tire for any remaining signs of damage.
  2. If there are no visible signs of damage, you can safely drive your vehicle to a repair shop for further inspection and permanent repair.

Operation

GENERAL NOTES

  • WARNING! Ensure you have read and understood the safety instructions.

Check the tire for physical signs of damage.

  • NOTE: If the hole or tear is greater than 6mm it is probably too big to fix. Consider seeking assistance.
  • DO NOT pull out any objects stuck in the tire, this might repair harder to achieve.
  • NOTE: If possible, work on the tire with the hole/tear near the lowermost point of the tire. The sealant will work better that way.
  • NOTE: When inflating/repairing a flat tire still fitted on a vehicle, there should not be any weight on it. The vehicle must, therefore, be jacked up to take the weight off the tire.
  • Review jack safety instructions and vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines for jacking.
  • Position the compressor on a firm, flat surface and located so that the air hose reaches the tire valve.
  • IMPORTANT: Inflation will only be effective if the connectors are fully fitted.
  • WARNING! The compressor must be switched off for twenty minutes after each twenty minutes of continuous operation to prevent excessive heat build-up.

PUNCTURE REPAIR

  • NOTE: Review Section 5.1 before beginning this process.
  • Unpack the unit and check that all items are present and in good working condition.
  • Check that the compressor On/Off switch is in the OFF position and plug the 12V plug into the vehicle’s accessory socket.
  • Gently shake the sealant bottle to mix it thoroughly.
  • IMPORTANT: Repair will only be effective if the connectors are correctly fitted.
  • Connect air hose (fig.1.6) to sealant air inlet connector (fig.1.1)
  • Invert the sealant bottle and locate it into the face of the compressor (fig.1.2). Rotate clockwise to lock it in place.
  • Connect sealant outlet (fig.1.7) to tire valve.
  • Turn the compressor on to begin the process. Once the tire reaches the required pressure turn the compressor off.
  • NOTE: If the tire has not inflated after approximately 10 minutes check all connections for leakage/blockage. If none is evident consider seeking assistance.
  • NOTE: If the tire is accidentally over-inflated, use the relief valve on the air hose (fig.1.6) to allow air out of the tire.
  • WARNING! After repairing the tire, the air hose and its connectors may be hot. Leave to cool for 2 to 3 minutes before removing.
  • Remove all fittings and the power supply. Stow the items in a carry case and place the used sealant bottle in a leak-proof bag if available.
  • Drive for about 2 miles (~3km) so that sealant can seal the damaged area. Stop and check tire pressure, and top up tire pressure if required.
  • DO NOT drive faster than 50mph (80kph) on the repaired tire.
  • DO NOT drive further than 125 miles (200km) on the repaired tire.
  • DO NOT continue driving if any vibrations, unsteady steering, or noises occur. Consider seeking assistance.

TYRE / INFLATABLES INFLATION

  • NOTE: Review Section 4.1 before beginning this process.
  • Check that the compressor On/Off switch is in the OFF position and plug the 12V plug into the vehicle’s accessory socket.
  • Remove the valve dust cap and screw the connector onto the valve stem.
  • IMPORTANT: Inflation will only be effective if the connector is fully fitted onto the valve.
  • Press the compressor On/Off switch to the ON position and the compressor will begin to operate.
  • Inflate the tire to the desired pressure and turn off the compressor by pressing the switch to the OFF position.
  • NOTE: The gauge may be subject to fluctuation whilst pumping.
  • Remove the air hose from the tire valve by unscrewing the connector from the tire valve, taking care to minimize air loss in the process. Replace the dust cap.

Disconnect the 12V plug from the vehicle’s accessory socket

  • NOTE: The pressure gauge is not a calibrated instrument. It is recommended to use a calibrated tire pressure gauge for an accurate final reading.
  • NOTE: The compressor may also be used on items such as inflatable dinghies, sports balls, air beds, etc. using one of the two adaptors supplied.
  • NOTE: If the tire/inflatable is accidentally over-inflated, use the relief valve on the air hose (fig.1.6) to allow air out.
  • CAUTION: Some items may not indicate the pressure required or the safe maximum pressure. Be very careful not to over-inflate.

Maintenance

  • Before each use check all hoses and fittings are sound and serviceable.
  • Wipe down the unit with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly if soiled. DO NOT get the unit wet.
  • Replace all hoses into relative compartments in the compressor body and place
