ATTENTION
The vibration and noise emission levels indicated in this data sheet have been
measured in accordance with a standardized test given in EN 62841, and can be
used to compare one instrument to another. They can also be used to pre-assess
exposure to harmful substances impacts. The declared levels of vibration and
noise emissions refer to the main applications of the tool. However, if the
instrument is used for other applications, s other devices or is not well
maintained, vibration and noise emission levels may be different. This can
significantly increase the level of exposure to detrimental effects on the
overall duration of the work. When assessing the level of exposure to
vibration and noise, consideration should also be given to the amount of time
the tool is switched off or during which is turned on but not in use. This can
significantly reduce the level of exposure to harmful effects for the total
duration of the work. Determine additional safety measures to protect the
operator from the effects of vibration and/or noise, such as tool maintenance
and the devices, keeping the hands warm and the organization of the work.
ATTENTION! Read all safety instructions, instructions, illustrations and specifications for this power tool. Failure to follow the instructions below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Keep these instructions and safety instructions for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Safety instructions for all activities
- Hold the power tool by the insulated surfaces for grip when performing an operation where the cutting blade or clamps can come into contact with hidden wires.
- When reaching a live wire on the cutting blade or clamps may leak current to cause electric shock to the operator.
- Safety instructions for using long drill bits Never use a higher rpm than the maximum rpm, provided for the drill tip.
- At higher rpm the tip it can bend when rotated without contact with the workpiece, which can result to injuries.
- Always start at low rpm and operate at low rpm when the drill tip is in contact with the workpiece.
- At higher rpm the bit can bend when rotating without contact with the workpiece, which may result in injury.
- Always apply pressure only in the direct direction of the piercing tip and do not press too hard.
- Piercing tips can bend and break or cause loss of control of the appliance, causing injuries.
ADDITIONAL OPERATING AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Use protective equipment. Always wear them when operating the machine safety
goggles. Protective clothing and a dust mask are recommended, protective
gloves, sturdy and non-slip shoes, helmet and protective equipment for
hearing.
The dust that is formed at work is often harmful to health and should not
enters the body. Wear a suitable dust mask. It is not allowed to process
materials that pose a danger to health (eg asbestos). If the tool used blocks,
switch off the device immediately! Do not include the appliance again while
the used tool is blocked; this could resulted in high reactive force recoil.
Find and eliminate the cause of the blocking of the tool used bearing in mind
the instructions for safety.
Possible reasons for this could be:
- Jamming in the processed part
- Drilling the material
- Overloading the power tool
Do not disturb the machine while it is running.
The tool in use may become hot during use.
ATTENTION! Risk of burns
- when changing the tool
- when leaving the device
Do not remove shavings or broken pieces while the machine is running. When working in walls, ceilings or floors, be careful of cables, gas pipes and water pipes. Secure the workpiece with a clamping device. Loose parts for handling can cause serious injury and property damage. Before starting any work on the machine, remove the battery. Do not dispose of used batteries in fire or household waste. Milwaukee offers an environmentally friendly collection of old batteries; please ask your specialist dealer. Do not store batteries together with metal objects (danger of short circuit compound). Accumulators from the C18 system should only be charged with chargers from the C18-laden system. Do not charge batteries from other systems.
Do not open batteries and chargers and store them only in dry places premises. Keep them away from moisture. Under extreme load or extreme temperature from damaged batteries may leak battery fluid. In contact with such a liquid wash immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately thoroughly for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
Warning! To avoid the risk of fire caused by a short compound, as well as injury and damage to the product, do not immerse the tool, the replaceable battery or the charger c liquids and ensure that they do not fall into appliances and batteries liquids. Corrosive or electrically conductive liquids, such as salt water, certain chemicals, bleaching agents or products, containing bleaching agents may cause a short circuit.
INTENDED USE
The cordless drilling screwdriver is universally used for drilling and for
screwdriving and does not depend on mains power. This appliance may only be
used for its intended purpose as specified.

BATTERIES
- Batteries that have not been used for a long time before use recharge.
- Temperatures above 50°C reduce battery capacity.
- To be avoided longer heating in the sun or from heating.
- Keep the connection contacts of the charger and the the battery.
- For optimal life after use, batteries should be fully charged.
- For the longest possible life, the batteries should be removed from the device after charging.
- When storing the batteries for more than 30 days: store the battery at approx. 27°C and in a dry place.
- Keep the battery at 30 to 50% charge. Charge the battery every 6 months.
BATTERY OVERLOAD PROTECTION
- When the battery is overloaded due to very high current consumption, e.g. very high torques, bit jamming, sudden stop or short circuit, the power tool buzzes for 2 seconds and turns itself off.
- To turn it on again, release the power button and turn it on again.
- Under extreme loads, the battery can get very hot. In this case the battery disconnects.
- Then connect the battery to the charger to recharge and activate.
TRANSPORTATION OF LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to legal regulations for the carriage of
dangerous goods.
The transport of these batteries must be carried out by local, national and
international provisions and regulations.
- Users can carry these batteries on the road without additional requirements.
- Transport of lithium-ion batteries by transport companies is subject to the legal provisions for the carriage of dangerous goods. The preparation of the transport and the transport itself must only be carried out by trained persons. The whole process should be under professional supervision.
Observe the following requirements when transporting batteries:
- Make sure the contacts are protected and isolated to avoid a short compound.
- Make sure that there is no danger of the battery being misplaced in the packaging.
- Do not transport damaged or leaking batteries. Contact your shipping company for further instructions.
