Start-up
Remove all packaging from the appliance.
Clean the device before use as described in the chapter on “Cleaning and Care”.

  • Push the locking lever on the mixer arm upwards (fig. A) and hold it. At the same time tilt the mixer arm backwards until it locks into place.

  • Push the required mixer accessory into the attachment as far as it will go and rotate it anticlockwise until it locks (fig. B).

  • Place the bowl on the base. Make sure that the handle on the bowl is facing the front of the appliance, then gently turn the bowl clockwise until it locks into place (fig. C).
Note : The bowl locks into place easily, do not use force when turning it.

  • Push the locking lever on the mixer arm upwards and at the same time lower the mixer arm.

  • Set the speed regulator to the Off position (0) (fig. F).

  • Now insert the mains plug into the socket.

Note: The appliance has an integrated cable winder. You can simply store the unrequired length of cable in the appliance.
You can now select the desired speed/function using the speed regulator and start the appliance.

Note: There is no need to repeatedly scrape the ingredients off the bowl thanks to the special design of the flat beater and the bowl, combined with the planetary mixing system.
Always set the speed regulator to the Off position (0) and remove the plug from the mains supply before you scrape out the bowl.
Note : The kitchen machine requires a start-up time during which all of the mechanical components are lined up. Short, loud operating noises may occur, particularly when preparing heavy doughs.

Removing the mixer accessories

  • Set the speed regulator to the Off position (0) and remove the plug from the mains supply.

  • Push the locking lever on the mixer arm upwards and hold it. At the same time tilt the mixer arm
backwards until it locks into place.

  • Push the mixer accessory upwards as far as possible and then turn it clockwise until it is released (fig. D).

  • Now pull the mixer accessory downwards to remove it from the attachment.

Speed controller
The appliance has a speed regulator with eight different speed settings to choose from (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) that you can use to process a wide range of different doughs/mixtures.
You can also select the fold function on the speed regulator (fig. E).

Fold function

The fold function is used to fold light or runny ingredients into heavier mixtures (e.g. muffins, meringues, mousse, foamy foods, biscuit dough and soufflés) or to slowly stir flour and other ingredi-ents (e.g. raisins and nuts) into the dough. When this function is selected, the appliance operates at a low speed, stops for a few seconds and then starts to fold in again.
When the fold function has finished, set the speed regulator to the Off position (0).

Planetary mixing system
The planetary mixing system makes sure that the ingredients are thoroughly and evenly mixed. This prevents ingredients/dough from sticking on the edge.

Soft start
Thanks to the soft start, the appliance always begins to operate at a low speed, irrespective of the selected speed. This gradually increases until it has reached the required setting. This prevents the ingredients from spraying out.

Electronic speed regulation
The appliance is equipped with an electronic speed regulator that is used to keep the speed constant under different loads.

Splash guard

  • Push the locking lever on the mixer arm upwards and hold it. At the same time tilt the mixer arm
backwards until it locks into place.

  • Push the required mixer accessory into the attachment as far as it will go and rotate it until it
    locks.

  • Place the bowl on the base. Make sure that the handle on the bowl is facing the front of the appliance, then gently turn the bowl clockwise until it locks into place.

Note: The bowl locks into place easily, do not use force when turning it.

  • Push the locking lever on the mixer arm upwards and at the same time lower the mixer arm.

Place the splash guard without ïll opening on the bowl. You can now place the ïll opening on the splash guard.

Note: During mixing, you can add further ingredients directly through the opening on the splash guard.

Removing the splash guard

  •  Set the speed regulator to the Off position (0).
  • Remove the ïll opening.
  • Remove the splash guard.

General information

  • The appliance is equipped with a safety function. It only starts once the mixer arm is correctly
lowered into position and the lid of the front attachment is placed on it.

  • If the mixer arm is moved backwards during operation, the appliance stops. To restart it, you must lower the mixer arm back into position and turn the speed regulator to the Off position (0). You can then select the required speed/function again and the appliance will start automatically.

Overload protection
The appliance is equipped with overload protection. This prevents the motor being damaged by overloading.
If the appliance switches off during operation, proceed as follows.

  • Set the speed controller to the Off position (0), pull out the mains plug and leave the appliance to cool down for 20-30 minutes.
  • Once the appliance has cooled down, insert the mains plug into the socket again and continue with the process.

Cleaning and maintenance

Turn the speed regulator to the Off position (0) and remove the plug from the mains supply. Do not immerse the appliance in water, but rather clean it using a damp cloth with a little washing-up liquid and then dry it.
Do not use harsh and abrasive cleaning agents.
You can rinse the mixer accessories and the splash guard under running water.
