Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions

1. Pass the fixture wire from the hex coupling on the lower body
   through the decorative tube. Lower the decorative tube down onto
   the lower body.

2. Pass the fixture wire from the decorative tube through the long
   threaded tube attached to the upper body.

3. Screw the long threaded tube into the hex coupling and tighten
   completely so that the lower hex nut on the long threaded tube is
   tight against the hex coupling.

4. Unscrew the coupling from the upper body. Slip the coupling and
   mounting plate away from the upper body along the fixture wire.
   Note: Do not completely remove the coupling and
   mounting plate from the fixture wire.

5. Select the color(s) of the decorative straps to be installed.
   Choose either white or black decorative straps, or alternate to
   create your own decorative strap pattern.

6. Align the threaded hole in the bent tab of a decorative strap
   with a countersunk hole in the mounting plate. Hold the mounting
   plate in place flush against the top of the bent tab of the
   decorative strap, and screw a short countersunk screw down into the
   aligned hole from above. Repeat for the remaining decorative
   straps. Note: Do not fully tighten the short
   countersunk screws yet.

7. After all decorative straps are attached to the mounting plate,
   slip the mounting plate back over the threads protruding from the
   top of the upper body. The mounting plate should rest on the hex
   nut attached to the threads.

8. Slip the washer over the threads protruding from the end of one
   fixture arm on the lower body. Note: The washer
   should be installed with the curved edge of the washer facing
   inward (toward the center of the fixture).

9. While holding the mounting plate in place on the upper body,
   bend the free end of one decorative strap down towards the end of
   the fixture arm and pass the hole in the end of the decorative
   strap over the threads protruding from the fixture arm.

10. Screw the end cap onto the threads protruding through the
    decorative strap and tighten to secure the decorative strap to the
    lower body.

11. Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 for the remaining decorative
    straps.

12. Once all decorative straps have been secured to the lower body,
    tighten each short countersunk screw to fully secure the decorative
    straps to the mounting plate.

13. Screw the coupling back onto the threads protruding from the
    top of the mounting plate. Tighten the coupling to secure the
    mounting plate to the upper body. Note: Thread
    locking compound must be applied to the threads as noted with ()
    symbol to prevent accidental rotation of the fixture during
    cleaning, relamping, etc.

FAQ

Q: What do I do if I don’t have an outlet box?

A: The product does not come with an outlet box. You will need
to provide your own outlet box for installation.

Q: Can I use different colored decorative straps?

A: Yes, you can choose either white or black decorative straps,
or alternate between them to create your own decorative strap
pattern.

Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty. CLEANING: · Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning. · Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pass fixture wire from hex coupling[C] on lower body[M] through decorative tube[N]. Lower decorative tube down onto lower body[M].
2. Pass fixture wire from decorative tube[N] through long threaded tube[V] (attached to upper body[O]).
3. Screw long threaded tube[V] into hex coupling[C] and tighten completely so that the lower hex nut on long threaded tube is tight against hex coupling.
4. Unscrew coupling[P] from upper body[O]. Slip coupling[P] and mounting plate[Q] away from upper body along fixture wire.
NOTE: Do not completely remove coupling and mounting plate from fixture wire.
5. Select color(s) of the decorative straps[R] to be installed.
NOTE: Choose either white or black decorative straps, or alternate to create your own decorative strap pattern.
6. Align threaded hole in bent tab of decorative strap[R] with a countersunk hole in mounting plate[Q]. Holding mounting plate in place flush against top of bent tab of decorative strap, screw short countersunk screw[S] down into aligned hole from above. Repeat for remaining decorative straps.
NOTE: Do not fully tighten short countersunk screws yet.
7. After all decorative straps are attached to mounting plate[Q], slip mounting plate back over threads protruding from top of upper body[O]. Mounting plate should rest on hex nut attached to threads.
8. Slip washer[T] over threads protruding from end of one fixture arm on lower body.
NOTE: Washer should be installed with the curved edge of the washer facing inward (toward center of fixture).
9. While holding mounting plate[Q] in place on upper body, bend the free end of one decorative strap[R] down towards end of fixture arm and pass hole in end of decorative strap over threads protruding from fixture arm.
10. Screw end cap[U] onto threads protruding through decorative strap[R] and tighten to secure decorative strap to lower body[M].
11. Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 for remaining decorative straps.
12. Once all decorative straps have been secured to lower body, tighten each short countersunk screw[S] to fully secure decorative straps[R] to mounting plate[Q].
13. Screw coupling[P] back onto threads protruding from top of mounting plate[Q]. Tighten coupling to secure mounting plate[Q] to upper body[O].
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to threads as noted with () symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
14. Pass fixture wire from coupling[P] through desired number of short threaded tubes[B] and stems[A]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE: A minimum of one (1) 6-inch stem must be used when mounting fixture.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with () symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
15. Thread assembled stems into coupling[P].
16. Pass fixture wire from last stem through end of swivel[H] and into canopy[D]. Thread the end of swivel into end of last stem. Note direction of swivel in accordance with ceiling.
17. Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 20 inches from the top edge of canopy.
18. Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounting strap[G] that align with hole distance in canopy[D]. Assemble mounting screws[I] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
19. Attach mounting strap to outlet box[F] using the supplied strap mounting screws[E]. Mounting strap can be adjusted to suit position of fixture.
20. Attach the safety cable[L] to the mounting strap or to the inside of the outlet box and secure into place to prevent damage to the wires during wiring.
21. Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
a. On fixtures where mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw, and thread into hole.
b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach ground wire from outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread into mounting strap.
If fixture is provided with ground wire, connect fixture ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.

22. Make wire connections. Reference chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

23. Raise canopy to ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[I] through mounting screw holes in canopy.
NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling.
24. While holding canopy in place, use lock washers[J] and knobs[K] to secure canopy[D]. Tighten to secure.
25. Insert recommended bulbs. (Not supplied).

(NEC) et satisfaire toutes les spécifications des codes locaux. Si vous ne connaissez pas les exigences de ces codes, il est recommandé de confier l’installation à un électricien certifié. Ne pas se conformer à ces codes et directives pourrait provoquer des blessures sérieuses et/ou des dommages matériels et rendre la garantie non valide. NETTOYAGE : · Soyez toujours certain que l’alimentation électrique du luminaire est fermée avant le nettoyage. · N’utilisez qu’un chiffon doux humide. INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION

1. Passez le fil du luminaire depuis l’accouplement hexagonal[C] sur le corps inférieur[M] à travers le tube décoratif[N]. Abaissez le tube décoratif sur le corps inférieur[M].
2. Passez le fil du luminaire du tube décoratif[N] à travers le long tube fileté[V] (fixé au corps supérieur[O]).
3. Vissez le long tube fileté[V] dans l’accouplement hexagonal[C] et serrez complètement de façon à ce que l’écrou hexagonal inférieur du long tube fileté soit serré contre l’accouplement hexagonal.
4. Dévissez l’accouplement[P] du corps supérieur[O]. Faites glisser l’accouplement[P] et la plaque de montage[Q] à l’écart du corps supérieur le long du fil du luminaire.
REMARQUE : Ne pas retirer complètement l’accouplement et la plaque de montage du fil du luminaire.
5. Sélectionnez la ou les couleurs des courroies décoratives[R] à installer.
REMARQUE : Sélectionner des courroies décoratives blanches ou noires, ou alterner pour créer votre motif de courroies décoratives.
6. Alignez le trou fileté de la languette pliée de la courroie décorative[R] avec un trou fraisé de la plaque de montage[Q]. En maintenant la plaque de montage contre le haut de la languette pliée de la courroie décorative, vissez la vis à tête fraisée courte[S] dans le trou aligné par le haut. Répétez l’opération pour les autres courroies décoratives.
REMARQUE : À ce stade, ne pas serrer complètement les vis à tête fraisée courte.
7. Une fois que toutes les courroies décoratives sont fixées à la plaque de montage[Q], faites glisser la plaque de montage sur les filets dépassant du haut du corps supérieur[O]. La plaque de montage doit reposer sur un écrou hexagonal fixé aux filets.
8. Glissez la rondelle[T] sur les filets dépassant de l’extrémité d’un bras du luminaire sur le corps inférieur.
REMARQUE : La rondelle doit être installée avec le bord incurvé de la rondelle vers l’intérieur (vers le centre du luminaire).
9. Tout en maintenant la plaque de montage[Q] sur le corps supérieur, pliez l’extrémité libre d’une courroie décorative[R] vers le bas en direction de l’extrémité du bras du luminaire et faites passer le trou à l’extrémité de la courroie décorative sur les filets dépassant du bras du luminaire.
10. Vissez le capuchon[U] sur les filets dépassant de la courroie décorative[R] et serrez pour fixer la courroie décorative au corps inférieur[M].
11. Répétez les étapes 8, 9 et 10 pour les autres courroies décoratives.
12. Une fois que toutes les courroies décoratives ont été fixées au corps inférieur, serrez chaque vis à tête fraisée courte[S] pour fixer complètement les courroies décoratives[R] à la plaque de montage[Q].
13. Vissez l’accouplement[P] sur les filetages dépassant du haut de la plaque de montage[Q]. Serrez l’accouplement pour fixer la plaque de montage[Q] au corps supérieur[O].
REMARQUE : Appliquer le frein filet sur les filets indiqués par le symbole () pour empêcher la rotation accidentelle du luminaire pendant le nettoyage, remplacement de lampe, etc.
14. Faites passer le fil du luminaire de l’accouplement[P] par le nombre souhaité de tubes filetés courts[B] et de tiges[A]. Vissez les tiges ensemble à l’aide de tubes filetés courts.
REMARQUE : Au moins une (1) tige de 6 po doit être utilisée pour le montage du luminaire.
REMARQUE : Appliquer le frein filet sur tous les filets de la tige indiqués par le symbole () pour empêcher la rotation accidentelle du luminaire pendant le nettoyage, remplacement de lampe, etc.
15. Vissez les tiges assemblées dans l’accouplement[P].
16. Acheminez le fil du luminaire depuis la dernière tige par l’extrémité de la rotule[H] et dans le cache[D]. Vissez l’extrémité de la rotule dans l’extrémité de la dernière tige. Prenez note du sens de la rotule par rapport au plafond.
17. Coupez les fils du luminaire à 50 cm MINIMUM du bord supérieur du cache.
18. Localisez les trous taraudés appropriés, sur l’étrier de montage[G], qui s’alignent sur la distance de trou dans le cache[D]. Placez les vis de montage[I] dans les trous taraudés en commençant par la boîte de sortie.
19. Fixez l’étrier de montage sur la boîte de sortie[F] avec les vis de montage de l’étrier[E]. Vous pouvez régler l’étrier de montage en fonction de la position du luminaire.
20. Fixez le câble de sécurité[L] à l’étrier de montage ou à l’intérieur de la boîte de sortie et fixez le câble pour ne pas endommager les fils pendant le câblage.
21. Connecter les fils. Se reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour faire les connexions.

22. Soulevez le luminaire en direction du plafond en passant soigneusement les vis de montage[I] par les trous des vis de montage dans le cache.
REMARQUE : S’assurer que les fils ne se coincent pas entre l’étrier de montage et le cache ou le cache et le plafond.
23. Tout en maintenant le cache, utilisez des rondelles de blocage[J] et des boutons[K] pour fixer le cache[D]. Serrez pour fixer.
24. Installez les ampoules recommandées (non fournies).

1. Pase el cable del artefacto desde el acoplamiento hexagonal[C] en el cuerpo inferior[M] a través del tubo decorativo[N]. Baje el tubo decorativo hacia el cuerpo inferior[M].
2. Pase el cable del artefacto desde el tubo decorativo[N] a través del tubo roscado largo[V] (unido al cuerpo superior[O]).
3. Enrosque el tubo roscado largo[V] en el acoplamiento hexagonal[C] y apriételo completamente para que la tuerca hexagonal inferior del tubo roscado largo quede apretada contra el acoplamiento hexagonal.
4. Desenrosque el acoplamiento[P] del cuerpo superior[O]. Deslice el acoplamiento[P] y la placa de montaje[Q], para separarlos del cuerpo superior, a lo largo del cable del artefacto. NOTA: No retire completamente el acoplamiento y la placa de montaje del cable del artefacto.
5. Seleccione el color o los colores de las correas decorativas[R] que se van a instalar. NOTA: Elija correas decorativas blancas o negras, o alterne para crear su propio patrón de correas decorativas.
6. Alinee el orificio roscado en la lengüeta doblada de la correa decorativa[R] con un orificio avellanado en la placa de montaje[Q]. Sosteniendo la placa de montaje en su lugar a ras de la parte superior de la lengüeta doblada de la correa decorativa, atornille el tornillo avellanado corto[S] en el orificio alineado desde arriba. Repita la operación con el resto de las correas decorativas. NOTA: Todavía no apriete del todo los tornillos avellanados cortos.
7. Una vez que todas las correas decorativas estén sujetas a la placa de montaje[Q], deslice la placa de montaje de nuevo sobre las roscas que sobresalen de la parte superior del cuerpo superior[O]. La placa de montaje debe descansar sobre la tuerca hexagonal fijada a las roscas.

Corte los cables del artefacto a un MÍNIMO de 20 pulgadas del borde superior de la cubierta. 18. realzados, enrollar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida alrededor del tornillo verde y pasarlo por el aquiero. b. En las lámparas con una arandela acopada, fijar el alambre a tierra de la caja de salida del ajo de la arandela acoada y tornillo verde, y paser por a abrazadera de montaje. Si la lámpara viene con alambre a tierra, conecter el alambre a tierra de la lámpara al alambre a tierra de la caja de salida con un conector de alambres espués de seguir los pasos anteriores. Nunca conectar el alambra a tierra a los alambres eléctros negro o blanco.

23. Levante la cubierta hacia el techo, pasando con cuidado los tornillos de montaje[I] a través de los orificios de los tornillos de montaje en la cubierta. NOTA: Asegúrese de que los cables no queden atrapados entre la abrazadera de montaje y la cubierta o la cubierta y el techo.
24. Mientras sostiene la cubierta en su lugar, utilice las arandelas de seguridad[J] y las perillas[K] para asegurar la cubierta[D]. Apriete para asegurar.
25. Inserte los bulbos recomendados. (No suministrados).
