Product Usage Instructions
Installation Instructions

Pass the fixture wire from the hex coupling on the lower body through the decorative tube. Lower the decorative tube down onto the lower body.

Pass the fixture wire from the decorative tube through the long threaded tube attached to the upper body.
-
Screw the long threaded tube into the hex coupling and tighten it completely so that the lower hex nut on the long threaded tube is tight against the hex coupling.

Unscrew the coupling from the upper body. Slip the coupling and mounting plate away from the upper body along the fixture wire.
Note: Do not completely remove the coupling and mounting plate from the fixture wire. -
Select the color(s) of the decorative straps to be installed. Choose either white or black decorative straps, or alternate to create your decorative strap pattern.

Align the threaded hole in the bent tab of a decorative strap with a countersunk hole in the mounting plate. Hold the mounting plate in place flush against the top of the bent tab of the decorative strap, and screw a short countersunk screw down into the aligned hole from above. Repeat for the remaining decorative straps.
Note: Do not fully tighten the short countersunk screws yet. -
After all decorative straps are attached to the mounting plate, slip the mounting plate back over the threads protruding from the top of the upper body. The mounting plate should rest on the hex nut attached to the threads.

Slip the washer over the threads protruding from the end of one fixture arm on the lower body.
Note: The washer should be installed with the curved edge of the washer facing inward (toward the center of the fixture). -
While holding the mounting plate in place on the upper body, bend the free end of one decorative strap down towards the end of the fixture arm and pass the hole at the end of the decorative strap over the threads protruding from the fixture arm.

Screw the end cap onto the threads protruding through the decorative strap and tighten to secure the decorative strap to the lower body.

Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 for the remaining decorative straps.

Once all decorative straps have been secured to the lower body, tighten each short countersunk screw to fully secure the decorative straps to the mounting plate.

Screw the coupling back onto the threads protruding from the top of the mounting plate. Tighten the coupling to secure the mounting plate to the upper body.
Note: Thread locking compound must be applied to the threads as noted witha () symbol to prevent accidental rotation of the fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
FAQ
- Q: What do I do if I don’t have an outlet box?
- A: The product does not come with an outlet box. You will need to provide your outlet box for installation.
- Q: Can I use different colored decorative straps?
- A: Yes, you can choose either white or black decorative straps, or alternate between them to create your decorative strap pattern.

CAUTIONS
RISK OF SHOCK:
Disconnect Power at the main circuit breaker panel or main fusebox before
starting and during the installation.
WARNING:
This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National
Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not
familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is
recommended. Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in
serious injury and/or property damage and will void the warranty.
CLEANING:
- Always be certain that the electric current is turned off before cleaning.
- Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Pass fixture wire from hex coupling[ C ] on the lower body[ M ] through decorative tube[ N ]. Lower decorative tube down onto lower body[ M ].

Pass fixture wire from decorative tube[ N ] through long threaded tube[ V ] (attached to upper body[ O ]).

Screw the long threaded tube[ V ] into hex coupling[ C ] and tighten it completely so that the lower hex nut on the long threaded tube is tight against the hex coupling.

Unscrew coupling[ P ] from the upper body[ O ]. Slip coupling[ P ] and mounting plate[ Q ] away from the upper body along the fixture wire.
NOTE : Do not completely remove the coupling and mounting plate from the fixture wire. -
Select the color(s) of the decorative straps[ R ] to be installed.
NOTE : Choose either white or black decorative straps, or alternate to create your decorative strap pattern. -
Align the threaded hole in the bent tab of the decorative strap[ R ] with a countersunk hole in the mounting plate[ Q ]. Holding the mounting plate in place flush against the top of the bent tab of the decorative strap, screw short countersunk screw[ S ] down into the aligned hole from above. Repeat for remaining decorative straps.
NOTE : Do not fully tighten short countersunk screws yet. -
After all decorative straps are attached to the mounting plate[ Q ], slip the mounting plate back over threads protruding from the top of the upper body[ O ]. The mounting plate should rest on a hex nut attached to threads.

Slip washer[ T ] over threads protruding from the end of one fixture arm on the lower body.
NOTE : The washer should be installed with the curved edge of the washer facing inward (toward the center of the fixture). -
While holding the mounting plate[ Q ] in place on the upper body, bend the free end of one decorative strap[ R ] down towards the end of the fixture arm and pass a hole at the end of the decorative strap over threads protruding from the fixture arm.

Screw the end cap[ U ] onto threads protruding through the decorative strap[ R ] and tighten to secure the decorative strap to the lower body[ M ].

Repeat steps 8, 9, and 10 for remaining decorative straps.

Once all decorative straps have been secured to the lower body, tighten each short countersunk screw[ S ] to fully secure decorative straps[ R ] to the mounting plate[ Q ].

Screw coupling[ P ] back onto threads protruding from the top of the mounting plate[ Q ]. Tighten the coupling to secure the mounting plate[ Q ] to the upper body[ O ].
NOTE : Thread locking compound must be applied to threads as noted with (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc. -
Pass fixture wire from coupling[ P ] through the desired number of short threaded tubes[ B ] and stems[ A ]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
NOTE : A minimum of one (1) 6-inch stem must be used when mounting the fixture.
NOTE : Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as noted with the (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc. -
Thread assembled stems into coupling[ P ].

Pass fixture wire from the last stem through the end of the swivel[ H ] and into the canopy[ D ]. Thread the end of the swivel into the end of the last stem. Note the direction of the swivel by the ceiling.

Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 20 inches from the top edge of the canopy.

Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap[ G ] that align with the hole distance in the canopy[ D ]. Assemble mounting screws[ I ] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.

Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box[ F ] using the supplied strap mounting screws[ E ]. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.

Attach the safety cable[ L ] to the mounting strap or the inside of the outlet box and secure it into place to prevent damage to the wires during wiring.

Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
- a ; On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw, and thread it into the hole.
- b ; On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and a green ground screw, and thread into the mounting strap.
- If the fixture is provided with ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with the wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires

Make wire connections. Reference the chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

Raise the canopy to the ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws[I] through mounting screw holes in the canopy.
NOTE : Be certain wires do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling. -
While holding the canopy in place, use lock washers[J] and knobs[K] to secure the anopy[D]. Tighten to secure.

Insert recommended bulbs. (Not supplied).
