This model requires a home Wi-Fi router and internet to connect to a mobile device. Requires 820.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) Wi-Fi. Please note this device will not work on 5GHz Wi-Fi.

We will not take responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from not following the instructions of this operating guide.

• The device must not be disassembled or remodeled in any way
• Do not place the device outdoors where the temperature is below/above operating range. Do not place the device close to objects with flames, heat source (oven or sunlight), cold source, liquid and extreme temperature changes.
• The device is not intended to be used as a reference sensor, and we will not bear responsibility for any damage which may result from inaccurate readings.
• The device must never be subjected to shocks or impacts.
• Never use detergent or other solvents to clean the unit.
• Avoid spraying air freshener, hair spray, or other aerosols near the senser.
• Teach children how to respond to the alarm and that they should never play with the unit.

MANUAL SETTINGS

Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the POWER button to activate/deactivate the device.
oC/o F Switch: After the device is activated, quick press POWER button 2 times to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Wi-Fi Setting

• Quick press POWER button 3 times to activate/deactivate Wi-Fi ICON displaying on the device.
• Quick press POWER button 5 times to reset Wi-Fi to default mode, and wait for 10 seconds to return to defualt mode.

Alarm Lifting

• Press POWER button to lift the alarm.
• Hold ESC button to lift the alarm.The alarm indicator will disappear from the display. Hold ESC button again will display the alarm indicator again on the display.

Backlit Display Mode: Press SET button to switch between backlit and normal display.

Manual CO2 Calibration

• Place the device in a well ventilated environment when calibrating.
• Quick press ESC button 3 times, and the device will automatically calibrate the CO2 Value. CO2 indicator will flash on the display when CO2 is calibrating. Calibration takes approx. 3 minutes.
  Press ESC button to cancel the calibration without saving the values.

Manual CO Calibration

• Place the device in a well ventilated environment when calibrating.
• Quick press ESC button 2 times, and the device will automatically calibrate the CO Value. CO indicator will flash on the display when CO is calibrating. Calibration takes approx. 20 seconds.
• Press ESC button to cancel the calibration without saving the values.

Factory Reset
Quick Press ESC button 5 times to reset the device to factory setting. See the below default factory settings on the device.

Alarm Threshold

• This red upward arrow icon indicates the value is higher than the Alarm Threshold Value, and the green downward indicates the value is less than the Alarm Disable Value.
• When the IAQ value is higher than the Alarm Threshold Value, the alarm will chirp and the indicator will flash on the diplay.
• When the IAQ value is lower than the Alarm Disable Value, the Alarm icon will stop flashing, and the indicator will flash for 10 seconds.
• Press and hold SET button to enble the setting interface, and select the subject you want to reset.
• Input the Alarm Threshold values by pressing △ / ▽ buttons.
• Press POWER to switch between the/ in the same subject.
• Press ESC button to leave setting without saving.
• Press and hold SET to save the input values and leave setting.

TUYA APP GUIDE

• Download “Tuya” app or “Smart Life” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store and creat an account with phone number or email ID.
• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and Wi-Fi is working on 2.4GHz, which will not work on 5GHz.
• If Wi-Fi icon is not on the display, quick press POWER 3 times to enable Wi-Fi on the device.
• When you connect this device to another smartphone or reset App connection, quick press POWER button 5 times to return to factory setting within 5-10 seconds.

Please follow the in-app steps for App connection as following

TUYA APP REGISTRATION

Download by searching “Tuya” app or “Smart Life” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or Scan the QR Code and creat an account with phone number or email ID. See the below Figure.

TUYA APP CONNECTION

Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz

1. Step 01
   Tap Add Device

2. Step 02
   Tap Add
   WILL NOT WORK ON 5GHz
   

3. Step 03
   Input Wi-Fi ID and password,and then tap next

4. Step 04
   After Device is ready on the App, Tap DONE
   

5. Step 05
   Tap Set Icon and set the alarm threshold values as you expect

6. Step 06
   Alarm threshold value and Alarm shutdown threshold values
   

7. Step 07
   Tap the Subject you want to reset

8. Step 08
   Tap “-” or “+” to decrease and increase the threshold values
   

9. Step 09
   Backlight Setting by tapping backlight icon, which comes in Closed for no backlight, Level 1 for dim backlight, Level 2 for bright backlight.

10. Step 10
    Device information page. Users can remove the device from the ready App connection.

TUYA SMART PLUG GUIDE

The Tuya smart plug can be used to control the air quality together with this air quality monitor.

Note

1. This App supports Tuya smart plug only, and does not support other smart plugs.

2. Make sure the app and smartphone is working on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
   

3. Step 3
   Plug the smart plug into an outlet and press the POWER button to activate it.

4. Step 4
   Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds to reset the smart plug.
   

5. Step 5
   Make sure the indicator is flashing.

6. Step 6
   Select one of the above and go on with the next setting.

7. Step 7
   Smart plug will be connected within 2 minutes

8. Step 8
   When the connection is ready, Tap Done to go on with the next setting.
   

9. Step 9
   Now smart plug Connection is ready on the App Tap the POWER ICON to turn it ON/OFF.

Smart Scene Guide

After the device and smart plug are ready on the App, automatic ventilation control system is possible by creating a smart scene on this Tuya App. Please follow the steps shown bellow.

1. Step 1
   Tap the Scene as figure 1.

2. Step 2
   Tap Create Scene as figure 2.

3. Step 3
   Select When device status changes.

4. Step 4
   Select the device.
   The solution is to control smart plug through the device reading threshold values.

5. Step 5
   Select the subject you want to control. Above figure 5 is CO as the example.

6. Step 6
   Select “<“, “=”, “>” before input the threshold value.

7. Step 7
   The device is filled in the IF part. Now Tap Then part for Smart Plug. See the above Figure 7.

8. Step 8
   Select Control Single Device. See the above Figure 8.

9. Step 9
   Select Smart Plug, see the above Figure 9.

10. Step 10
    ON to activate the ventilation when the device reads the input threshold value. OFF to deactivate the ventilation when the device reads the input threshold value. Tap save to go on.

11. Step 11
    Tap Next to go on to the next step. See the above Figure 11.

12. Step 12
    Save the Smart Scene created. See the above Figure 12.

13. Step 13
    Give a name to the Smart Scene created for your easy recognition. See the above Figure 13.

14. Step 14
    Confirm and Save the Setting. See the above Figure 14.

15. Step 15
    Yes to confirm the Automation Setting. See the above Figure 15.

16. Step 16
    Make sure the automation is enabled in green indicator. Tap the > sign to set the automation effective hours. See the above Figure 16.

17. Step 17
    Tap Validity Scope to set the effective hours. See the above Figure 17.

18. Step 18
    Tap Effective Period . See the above Figure 18.
    

19. Step 19
    You can select the automation working hours as All day / Daytime / Night / Custom.
    Then Input Repeat for the automation working days.

20. Step 20
    Save to complete the Smart Scene Setting.
    Smart Scene Created!
    

21. Step 21
    Tap “+” to create another automation Scene for Pollen, CO, TVOC, CO2, PM2.5, PM1.0, Temperature, Humidity.
