Product Usage Instructions

Positioning the Slicer

The slicer must be positioned horizontally on a working bench with a perfectly flat surface.

Oiling the Slide Rod

It is recommended to periodically oil the slide rod for smooth operation. Follow these steps:

  1. Block the slicer table close to the thickness adjustment knob.
  2. Open the screw located near the slide rod.
  3. Using the enclosed bottle of fine machine oil, apply oil to the slide rod.
  4. Tighten the screw back in place.

Note: Only use machine oil for lubrication.

FAQ

  • Q: Can I use any type of oil for lubricating the slide rod?
  • A: No, it is recommended to only use fine machine oil for lubricating the slide rod. Using other types of oil may cause damage to the slicer.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF FOOD SLICERS

OPERATION AND START-UP

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the identification card of the machine (A) and check that the electrical installation has a ground connection.
  • Place the merchandise on the plate (D), fixing it with the draining arm (E),
  • Turn the numbered grading knob (F) until you obtain the desired cutting thickness.
  • Activate the switch (G) to rotate the blade (L), the blade rotation will always be in the direction counterclockwise, and move the goods carrying plate (D) by hand.

  • During the cutting operation, push the carriage with the handle (T).

BLADE SHARPENING

  • Disconnect the machine from the power through the switch (G).
  • Clean and degrease the blade (L) perfectly with alcohol.
  • Raise the sharpening group (C) by loosening the knob (K), rotate the sharpening group clockwise to 180° (Fig. 3). Secure the sharpening group by tightening the knob (K).
  • Activate the switch (G), and turning the blade (L) we will press the button (w) by acting this forms the whetstone (H) (Fig: 4).
  • We will remove the burr with the second stone (M), by pressing the button (N) (Fig. 4).
  • Important: This operation will only be carried out for 2 or 3 seconds with the blade (L) in March.
  • Disconnect the machine using the switch (G), and place the sharpening group in its previous position.

MAINTENANCE

  • Carefully clean the machine after each work day (with the machine unplugged).
  • Use alcohol, do not use corrosive or abrasive materials under any circumstances.
  • Before starting to clean the machine, make sure that the numbered crank (F) is in position. nothing at zero.
  • Lubricate all sliding parts with non-vegetable oil.

ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS

  • Do not cut or manipulate the security plate (Q).

Attention
The cutter should be placed on a workbench with a perfectly flat surface.
It is recommended to periodically lubricate the bar sliding, using the corresponding grease nipple supplied, removing the screw (as shown in the figure) with the carriage locked as far as it will go towards the graduated handle. Only use oil vaseline.
