TE017 Digital Decibel Meter
Before using this product, please read this manual carefully. Itis intended to
instruct you on how to properly operate the product, utilization of the
product’s excellent performance of robustness and durability.
This decibel meter can be used for noise engineering, quality control,health
prevention and various environmental noise measurements. For example, noise
measurement applications in factories offices, traffic roads, homes, audio and
other occasions.
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

This product s a high precision noise meter with an accuracy of 1.5dB.

Measurement range: 30dB~130dB.

Weighted A and Weighted C two kinds of weighting.

Fastand Slow reaction rates. Response characteristics of weighted A (for human ear simulation) and weighted C (for machine noise).
Make measurements more accurate. -
Automatic or manual shutdown can be set.

Data hold and backlight.

a. FAST(125ms): It uses a time constant of 0.125 seconds for general environment measurement.
b. SLOW(1 seconds): take the average time to get stable signal for measurement.
5. Short press the button can select the MAX and MIN hold function. Long press can set the noise alarm value.
6. LEVEL switch: Short press the “LEVEL+’ “LEVEL- “can select the appropriate level to measure the noise. Long press the “LEVEL+’ to turn off /on the auto power off function. -
Short press the button to hold the data. Long press to turn on/off the backlight.

OPERATION DIRECTION
- Please open the battery cover and install the attached 3*1.5V AA battery to the battery compartment before use.
- Install the battery cover.
- When the battery voltage drops below the operations voltage, battery empty* ” icon shown in LCD screen, please replace the battery in time.
OPERATION DIRECTION
- Press the power button to turn the decibel meter.
- Press the “LEVEL+” “LEVEL-” button to select the right range until no “OVER” or “UNDER” wording shown at the LCD display.
- If you want to measure the human voice, please select A weighted(dBA) for sound level pressure measurement, if you want to measure the machine noise, please select C weighted(dBC).
- If you want to measure the read time SPL, please select the Fast reaction rates, If you want to get the average SPL, please select the Slow reaction rates.
- If you want to get the MAX/MIN value, press the MAX/MIN button, then you can switch the MAX/MIN mode.
- Alarm setup function: Long press the MAX/MIN button to alarm setup mode, the press the “LEVEL+” “LEVEL-” button to adjust the value, then long press the MAX/MIN button to save the setting and exit the alarm interface.
CAUTION
- Do not operate the unit at high temperature and high humidity environment.
- The environment signal noise must be less than the signal under measure otherwise can’t measure a correct sound level pressure.
- Please take out the battery from the unit if not in use for an extended period of time.
- Once using the unit in the presence of wind, itis a must to mount the wind screen to not pick up the undesired signals.
- Operating environment condition: Below 200 feet in height, humidity≤80%RH, temperature from 0~40°C, indoor use.
