INSTALL STEPS
STEP 1: Plug Surge Protective Device into AC power. DO NOT plugin your RV at this time. Verify GREEN surge indicator LED(s) is on.
STEP 2: Verify which LED’s come on.
A The Correct Wiring condition occurs when both the GREEN LED ‘Sare on If
this does not occur you may be experiencing the other seven (7) Wiring
Conditions as noted in the diagrams:
B Open Neutral
C Open Ground
D Missing L1 120V
E Missing L1 120V
F Reverse Polarity
G L1&Gnd Reversed
H L2&Gnd Reversed
Your Surge Protective Device will continue to work during any of the wiring conditions; however, only the Correct Wiring condition (both GREEN LED’s on) is optimal and any other wiring condition should be corrected by Campground Maintenance before use.
STEP 3: Plug in your RV power to the Smart Surge Protector. RefertoSTEP 2 above for surge protection wiring conditions.
LED INDICATORS
Note: The below Green light off indicates a surge occurrence.
STEP 4: When the RED LED is on, the temperature is higher than60 ℃,and other indicator functions remain unchanged.
CAUTIONS:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, USE ONLY IN DRY LOCATIONS.
Do not install this device if there is not least 10 meters (30 feet) or more
of wire between the electrical outlet and the electrical service panel.
This device features an internal protection that will disconnect the surge
protective component but will maintain power to the load – now unprotected. if
this situation is undesirable for the application, follow the manufacturer’s
instructions for replacing the device.
