Product Usage Instructions
Steam Ironing
- Before ironing, steam for 30 seconds horizontally to prevent water leakage.
Power Control
- To turn the iron on, move the power switch to the MAX position.
- To turn it off, move the power switch to the OFF position.
Steam Boost
- To activate the steam boost function, press the steam trigger twice quickly.
Auto Shut-Off
- The iron will automatically switch off when not in use for 10 minutes.
Descaling
- To descale the iron, refer to Figure 10. Descaling is essential for proper functioning of the iron.

Danger
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
Warning
- Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord, the steam supply hose or the appliance itself shows visible damage, or if the appliance has been dropped or leaked. For repair or service, you must have the appliance inspected by Philips, a service center authorized by Philips or similarly qualified persons.
- Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the mains.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 or above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions in safe use of the appliance or supervision to establish safe use and if they have been made aware of the hazards involved.
- Children aged 8 or over are only allowed to clean the appliance and perform descale or Calc-Clean procedure under supervision.
- Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
- Keep the iron and its mains cord out of the reach of children aged 8 or under when the appliance is switched on or cooling down.
- Handle your iron carefully and never direct the steam towards persons or animals as your appliance gives off steam which can cause burns.
- Do not let the mains cord and steam supply hose come into contact with the hot soleplate of the iron.
- Keep your fingers or hand away from the soleplate when steam is activated to avoid burns during ironing.
CAUTION: Hot surface
Surfaces are liable to get hot during use (for irons with hot symbol marked on the appliance).
Caution
- Do not leave the appliance unattended during the Calc-Clean process.
- Descale or calc clean the steam generator according to the instructions in chapter ‘Cleaning and maintenance’.
- Always perform the Calc-Clean process with the Calc-Clean container and do not interrupt the process.
- Do not let the iron rest on its heel during the Calc-Clean process as hot water comes out.
- After the calc-clean process, the calc-clean container becomes hot. Wait approximately 5 minutes to cool down before you touch it.
- The appliance must be used and placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface. When you place the iron on its stand, make sure that the surface on which you place it is stable. Stand is the heel of the iron or the part, which the iron is placed when at rest.
- Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
- Fully unwind the mains cord before you put the plug in the wall socket.
- The iron platform and the soleplate of the iron can become extremely hot and may cause burns if touched. If you want to move the steam generator, do not touch the iron platform.
- When you have finished ironing, when you clean the appliance, when you fill or empty the steam generator and when you leave the iron even for a short while: put the iron back on the iron platform, switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
- Do not add perfumed water, water from the tumble dryer, vinegar, starch, descaling agents, ironing aids, chemically descaled water or other chemicals, as they may cause water leakage, brown staining or damage to your appliance.
- The plug must only be connected to a socket with the same technical characteristics as plug.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.

With this product, Versuni aims to fully serve the consumer, providing the guarantee in the form established here.
- This warranty is complementary to the legal one and stipulates that all parts and components are fully guaranteed against possible defects of parts or manufacturing that may occur within 2 (two) years from the date of delivery of the product to the consumer, as per expressed in the purchase invoice.
- If the consumer transfers ownership of this product, the guarantee will be automatically transferred, respecting the validity period, counted from the 1st acquisition.
- If any manufacturing defect is found, the consumer must contact the nearest Authorized Technical Assistance.
- In other locations where there is no Authorized Technical Assistance, product transportation costs are borne by the consumer.
