SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use, please thoroughly read the entire manual. It is recommended to keep this instructions manual for future reference.

This equipment can be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of experience and knowledge of the equipment, if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment. Do not allow the cord to hang where a child can grab it. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
To provide additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual trip current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. A specialist electrician should be consulted in this respect.
The connection cable must be connected to a socket with the parameters specified in the instructions.
Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling on the plug and not on the power cord.
Do not immerse the cable or the appliance in water.
Do not use in the open air.
Do not expose the device to sunlight, hot surfaces or moisture.
When the appliance is used in the bathroom, unplug it from the mains after use, as the proximity to water is a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
Before switching on the appliance, make sure that all its components are properly assembled.
Do not leave the appliance in use unattended.
Switch off the appliance before unplugging it from the mains and mounting and dismounting accessories.
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when finished working.
Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
When the appliance is in operation, do not cover or otherwise block the air inlet and outlet openings. If the air openings are blocked, the overheating protection will automatically trip. Turn the switch to the “0” position and disconnect the unit from the mains. Once the unit has cooled down (a few minutes), it can be switched on again.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
Do not use if the power cord is damaged, if the appliance has fallen or has been damaged in any other way. Have the unit repaired by an authorised service centre; see the warranty card and www.eldom.eu for information.
Any upgrade or use of non-original spare parts or components of the appliance is prohibited and compromises the safety of use.
The appliance may be used only with the originally supplied accessories.

INTENDED USE
The dryer HT92 is designed for drying hair.

OPERATION

Before connecting the hair dryer to the power source, make sure that the switch (1) is set to position “0”.
After connecting the appliance to the mains with the parameters as specified in the manual, start the appliance with the switch (1).
− pos. “0” – dryer switched off,
− pos. “1” – weak airflow, low temperature for slightly damp, not too thick or short hair,
− pos. “2” – strong airflow, high temperature, fast drying of wet or thick hair.
Pressing and holding the button (2) immediately lowers the temperature of the air coming out of the dryer regardless of the temperature selected with the switch (1).
The concentrator (3) facilitate hair modelling. You can also use the hair dryer without the concentrator (3).
The folding handle (5) helps with storage.
