SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use, please thoroughly read the entire manual. It is recommended to keep this instructions manual for future reference.

  1. This equipment can be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by people with reduced physical and mental capabilities and lack of experience and knowledge of the equipment if supervision or instruction is provided on how to use the equipment safely so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the equipment. Unsupervised children should not carry out cleaning or maintenance of the equipment. Do not allow the cord to hang where a child can grab it. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the equipment.
  2. To provide additional protection, it is advisable to install a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual trip current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. A specialist electrician should be consulted in this respect.
  3. The connection cable must be connected to a socket with the parameters specified in the instructions.
  4. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains by pulling on the plug and not on the power cord.
  5. Do not immerse the cable or the appliance in water.
  6. Do not use in the open air.
  7. Do not expose the device to sunlight, hot surfaces or moisture.
  8. When the appliance is used in the bathroom, unplug it from the mains after use, as the proximity to water is a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
  9. Do not leave the appliance in use unattended.
  10. Switch off the appliance before unplugging it from the mains.
  11. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply when finished working.
  12. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
  13. Disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
  14. Do not use if the power cord is damaged, if the appliance has fallen or has been damaged in any other way. Have the unit repaired by an authorized service center; see the warranty card and www.eldom.eu. for information. Any upgrade or use of non-original spare parts or components of the appliance is prohibited and compromises the safety of use.
  15. The appliance may be used only with the originally supplied accessories.
  16. The company Eldom Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any damage caused by inappropriate use of the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance from the mains and wait until it has cooled down completely before cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water.
  • The housing of the appliance and the power cord can be cleaned with a soft, dry, or damp cloth.

WARRANTY

  • This appliance is designed for domestic use only.
  • It cannot be used for professional purposes or for other than the intended use.
  • Improper use will nullify the guarantee.

  • Power: 35W
  • Mains supply: 110-240V~ 50-60Hz

INTENDED USE

The RW35 hair straightener is used to straighten hair. The ceramic coating covering the plates (1) distributes the heat evenly over the entire surface, thus protecting the hair from excessive heat. OPERATION

Preparing the appliance

  • Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure that the switch (5) is set to the in the “OFF” position.
  • Once the appliance is connected to a power supply conforming to the parameters specified in the instructions, start the appliance
  • by turning the switch (5) to the right and set the desired temperature.
  • The indicator light (4) will start flashing and will be on continuously when the set temperature is reached.
  • To reduce the temperature, turn the switch (5) to the left and adjust the temperature.
  • To switch the appliance off, turn the switch (5) to the left to the “OFF” position.

Straightening

  • Hair must be washed and combed thoroughly before straightening. The hair must be slightly damp or dry.
  • Place hair in strands a few centimeters wide between the plates (1) and squeeze firmly. Move the device slowly from the root of the hair towards the ends.
  • Do not hold hair in the appliance for more than 20 seconds at a time.
  • Only brush the hair after it has cooled down.
  • The operating temperature set by the user tends to change (lower) in contact with damp hair. The appliance continuously adjusts the temperature.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF

  • For safety, the appliance has an automatic switch-off function.
  • If the appliance is not used continuously for more than 60 minutes, it will automatically switch off.
  • To continue using the appliance after this time, turn the switch (5) to the “OFF” position and then set the appropriate temperature.
