These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee thatinterference will not occur
in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the

- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed
including the following:
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
a) Do not use seasonal products outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor and
outdoor use. When products are used in outdoor applications, connect the
product to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not
provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
b) This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or
use.
c) Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles or
other similar sources of heat.
d) Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on
sharp hooks or nails.
e) Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
f) Unplug the product when leaving the house, or when retiring for the night,
or if left unattended.
g) This is an electric product – not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns,
personal injury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed
where small children can reach it.
h) Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
i) Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
j) Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may
damage the wire insulation.
k) Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the
product when in use.
l ) The lamps of this product are not replaceable. Do not attempt to change or
modify the lamps.
m) Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with
the product.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Set up the tree according to the number tag sequence attached to each tree
section from the bottom to the top.
Section #1 from the bottom on the tree stand, followed by Section #2 on top,
and so on. Random setup will result in electrical malfunction.
WARNING!
- This product may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy when using the motion effect light modes.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
- Do not connect the chain to the supply while it is in the packing.
- The lamps are not replaceable.
- Do not interconnect parts of this lighting chain with parts of another manufacturer’s lighting chain.
- Interconnection shall be made only by the use of the supplied connectors. Any open ends must be sealed-off before use.
- The controller and remote controller (if included) can only be used with this product.
- Use of ladder to set up tall trees: Ensure the ladder is securely fixed and is not slippery. Be cautious when climbing up and down the ladder.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire can not be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
- To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock:
a) Use only power adapter supplied with this product, using a different adapter
will damage the lights and cause fire, electrical shock hazards.
b) Do not install on trees having needles, leaves or branch covering of metal
or materials which look like metal.
c) Do not mount or support strings in a manner that can cut or damage wire
insulation.
CAUTION! For indoor use only.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should be disposed
of separately from household waste. The item should be handed in for recycling
in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

physical setup
- Assemble the tree as shown in pictures.
- Plug the power adapter into an AC outlet.
- The tree will illuminate with default effects.
- CONTINUOUS GREEN: Direct Wi-Fi mode, connected
- FLASHING GREEN: Direct Wi-Fi mode, no device connected
- CONTINUOUS BLUE: Home Wi-Fi network mode, connected
- FLASHING BLUE: Home Wi-Fi network mode, connection in progress
- FLASHING RED: Home Wi-Fi network mode, unable to connect
- LIGHT BLUE: SETUP MODE (Bluetooth ON)
- YELLOW: Firmware Update in progress
- CONTINUOUS RED: General error
- FLASHING WHITE: Reset procedure in progress
Preset effects
Twinkly comes with 5 preset effects that may be used without downloading the
app.
Simply plug in the tree to a power outlet, then press the button on the
controller to switch between the 5 preset effects.

- Go to App Store/Google Play Store. Download and install the Twinkly app.
- Launch Twinkly app.
- Select GENERATION II controller for your tree. Follow the setup process on the app.
Note: All app illustrations in this document are a mere representation of the functionality and may vary from the actual app visuals.

Twinkly uses Bluetooth for the setup process only. Wi-Fi connection is required for operation.
You can use:
A. Home Wi-Fi network connection (recommended):
Connect with your home/office WiFi from the list of available networks.
B. Direct Wi-Fi connection:
Select “Twinkly_xxxxxx” WiFi from the list of available networks. Password: Twinkly2019
NOTE: the internet on your phone will not be available in this case. -
Select the correct light count of your tree and tap “Configure” to complete the connection to your Twinkly tree.

Map the layout of your decoration to unlock the full potential of your Twinkly tree like advanced effects, drawing and many upcoming features.
- Frame the tree from a distance of 1.5 – 2.5 meters.
- Open Layout and tap the “Map Lights” button. All LEDs will illuminate with different colors during the process.
- Once the process is completed, return to the Effects Gallery to enjoy advanced preset and customizable effect.

Note: For best results, avoid reflective surfaces behind the tree, keep the mobile camera steady during the process and ensure a moderate ambient light (not too dark).

Choose preset effects
- Open the Effects Gallery.
- Select the desired effect to see the real-time preview on your Twinkly set-up.
- Swipe left or right to browse effect.
- Tap “Apply” to store the effect and play continuously.
Note: App user interface may change due to technical updates and improvements.
troubleshooting
Q LOOSE BRANCH HINGE PIN
• Place the loose branch into the hinge bracket.
• Insert an included spare hinge pin through the holes of the bracket
• Secure with an included spare washer.
Q THE LIGHTS DO NOT SWITCH ON
• Check that the power adapter is plugged in and that the controller is
correctly connected to the device.
• Check that the LED status indicator on the controller is lit.
• Briefly press the button on the controller.
• If this doesn’t work, unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug in
again.
Q THE LED INDICATOR IS LIGHT BLUE, BUT MY SMARTPHONE CANNOT FIND TWINKLY
• Unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds, plug it in again and repeat
Configuration procedure.
• If this does not work, try to Reset (see Reset procedure below).
Q THE LIGHTS ARE ON BUT MOTION EFFECTS ARE FROZEN
• Briefly press the button on the controller.
• If this does not work, unplug the power adapter, wait 30 seconds and plug it
in again.
Q TWINKLY SETUP WAS SUCCESSFUL, BUT THE LIGHTS DON’T RESPOND TO COMMANDS
• Within the Twinkly application, open “Devices” and check that the Twinkly
device is selected.
• If this does not work, stop the Twinkly application and launch it again.
• If this does not work, try to Reset (see Reset procedure below).
• If this does not work, delete the Twinkly application from your smartphone,
then download the latest version from AppStore or Google Play Store.
Q HOW CAN I CONNECT TWINKLY WITHOUT HOME WI-FI NETWORK?
• Open Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone.
• Find and select “Twinkly_XXXXXX” network.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password “ Twinkly2019 ” and ensure that the
“Twinkly_XXXXXX” network is connected.
• When resetting your Twinkly using the reset instructions, you will notice
the lights start as green when the instructions say they should be red.
The green lights will fade to yellow, then orange, before turning red.
That is how you know your Twinkly has been properly reset.
• If you are troubleshooting your Twinkly lights and are going through the
reset process, you must disconnect from your home Wi-Fi network and reconnect
to the “Twinkly_XXXXXX” Wi-Fi network to reconnect to your tree.

- Unplug the Twinkly power adapter from the AC outlet. Press and hold the controller button.
- While holding the button, plug in the Twinkly power adapter.
- Keep holding the button until all LED lights on the tree turn red, then release the button.
devices storage
- Unplug the power adapter from the AC outlet.
- Lift tree poles up gently to disassemble, from top to bottom. Fold all branches towards the pole.
- Close all pole caps.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
