SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read and follow all safety instructions.
2. Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar sources of heat.
3. Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
4. This is an electric product – not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
5. Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
6. Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
7. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
8. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
9. Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.
10. Save these instructions.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • a. When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily. Keep the live tree holder filled with water.
  • b. Once the product is placed, the installation should be well secured and stable.
  • c. Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully. Discard any products that have cut damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lampholders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
  • d. When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including trees, branches, or bushes, to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections, and wires.
  • e. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight. ATTENTION – TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE AND ELECTRIC SHOCK
  • a. Do not install on surfaces having sharp edges, or coverings of metal or materials which look like metal.
  • b. Do not mount or support wires in a manner that can cut or damage wire insulation.

Installation process

USING YOUR INTERNET ROUTER

Note : ensure you have completed the installation process from Twinkly PRO Power Line Controller’s quickguide before continuing.

  1. Connect a Twinkly PRO Power Line Controller to the port indicated with PoE IN
  2. Connect the Twinkly PRO 4G Router to the port indicated with PoE OUT

Enabling the PoE

  1. Power up the Power Line Controller connected to the PoE IN port, then press and hold the button on the case until the status LED makes a short red pulse.
    • Once the PoE is turned on for the first time, it will remain active even if you disconnect the controller.
    • To turn off the PoE press and hold the button on the controller until the flashing red LED stops.
  2. Wait for connection to be established, refer to the network connection LED on the Power Line Controller to make a burst blink.
    • In case you are using Twinkly PRO 4G Router, ensure you have successfully configured it prior to this step, refer to its quickguide for more info
