IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before using the multi-purpose slicer (hereinafter “device”) for the first time, read the user manual carefully and observe all the safety instructions and warnings, even if you are familiar with handling electrical devices.
Keep the user manual and be prepared to consult it later on. If you ever sell or give away the device, you must hand over this user manual as well.
If you do not observe these instructions for the correct use of the device, the manufacturer shall not be held liable for any damage caused by noncompliance with the instructions.
INTENDED USE
- The device is intended for handling amounts and sizes that are typical for households, or similar amounts in non-industrial use. Non-industrial use includes use in kitchens by shop, office, agricultural and other commercial enterprise employees, and for guests in establishments offering bed and breakfast, smaller hotels and similar accommodation facilities.
- The device is only suitable for slicing solid foods, such as bread, sausages, vegetables or semi-hard cheese. Slicing other materials (such as wood) or very hard foods (bones, hard cheese, deep-frozen food) is not permitted.
- The device is not intended for use in high-temperature or high-humidity spaces (such as a bathroom), or in spaces with excessive amounts of dust.
- Operating temperature and humidity: from 5 °C to 35 °C, up to 85% relative humidity, and an altitude of up to 2,000 m.
- Connect and use the device according to the nameplate specifications (16).
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Keep the device out of reach of children. Prevent children from reaching the device and the power cord (9), and do not let them use the device. Children must not play with device, clean it, or perform maintenance on it.

Never allow children to be in the vicinity of the device. Small parts can be lethal if ingested.

Never leave children unattended with packaging materials. A choking hazard exists in such a case.
-
People with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, and persons without knowledge and/ or experience may use the device if they are under sufficient control or have received instructions on the safe use of the device and know the potential dangers that may occur before, during and after its use (during cleaning and maintenance).

Do not handle the device if your hands are wet, and do not start the device if you have not inserted any food items.

The device must be disconnected from the power supply after every use!

Whenever the appliance is left unattended, before disassembly, before cleaning, in the event of malfunctions and before changing accessories or parts that move during operation, always unplug the power cord (8) from the socket.

Never leave the device unattended when it is in operation!

Place the device on a solid and flat surface. Do not place objects on the device.
-
Under no circumstances should the device ever be submerged in water or held under running water during cleaning. The device must not be washed in a dishwasher. There is an electrical shock hazard.

Always hold the power cord (9) by the plug (8) and do not pull on the cord itself. There is an electrical shock hazard.
-
Do not place furniture items or other heavy objects onto the power cord (9), and avoid folding (doubling over) the cord, especially near the plug (8). There is an electrical shock hazard.

Do not lead the power cord (9) over hot or sharp points and edges. There is an electrical shock hazard.
-
Do not use plug adapters or extensions that do not meet the applicable safety standards in force; the power cord (9) must not be modified!
-
Never tie the power cord (9) in a knot and do not attach it to other cords.
-
Lay the power cord (9) in such a manner that no one could step on it or obstruct it. There is a bodily injury hazard.
-
If the power cord (9) is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance company, or a similarly qualified person, to avoid any risks.

Repair is needed if the device has suffered damage, if liquid or foreign objects have ended up inside the housing, if it has been
-
exposed to rain or moisture, if it does not function properly, or if it has been dropped onto the floor. If you notice smoke, or unusual noises or smells, unplug the power cord plug (8) from the socket immediately. In such cases, the device may not be used again until examined by the manufacturer, a maintenance company or a similarly qualified person.

Never open the housing of the device (1).

In case of a power outage, the device stays ON. When power is restored, the device continues its operation.

The device must be disconnected from the power supply before each blade removal (unplug the power cord (8) from the socket).

Take care when removing and cleaning the blade.
-
The blade is extremely sharp! There is a bodily injury hazard.
-
Only the components that were included with the delivered product may be used during operation.
Otherwise, there is a bodily injury hazard. -
Take care and prevent long hair, ties or loose clothes from coming into contact with the device’s rotating blade and being caught by it. There is a bodily injury hazard.
-
Never reach towards the rotating blade with your hands. There is a bodily injury hazard.
-
The blade is extremely sharp. Do not touch the blade with your hands. Never let your hands get close to the blade. There is a bodily injury hazard.
-
After turning off the device, its drive system keeps running for a certain period. Let the blade come to a halt!
-
Do not use the device without the blade.
-
When you are finished slicing, set the slice thickness to » «. Otherwise there may be a bodily injury hazard.
-
The device must be used together with the installed finger protection (5) and remnant holder (15). If the size and shape of a food item does not allow this, the device may be used without these parts. However, bodily injury may occur in that case.
-
Never push small pieces of food towards the blade by hand. Use the supplied remnant holder (15) in such instances. Otherwise there may be a bodily injury hazard.
-
Never try slicing packaged or frozen food items, ice cubes, food items with bones or large seeds, or nuts in shells. The device may be damaged.
-
When the device wears out, make sure it is no longer used.
WARNINGS
Take care to ensure that:
- no direct heat sources (such as heaters) should operate near the device;
- sunlight and strong artificial light should not shine directly onto the device;
- drops or jets of water, or aggressive liquids do not come into contact with the device, and that the device is not operated near water; the device may not be submerged in water either. Do not place liquid-filled objects such as vases or drinks onto or beside the device;
- no open fire sources (such as burning candles) are on or around the device;
- no foreign objects enter the device;
- the device is not exposed to sudden temperature changes, in which case the moisture in the air might condense
- and cause a short circuit. If the device has nonetheless been exposed to sudden temperature changes, wait (approx. 2 hours) before using it, so that it warms up to the ambient temperature;
- the device is not exposed to excessive shocks and vibrations.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Clean the device thoroughly before using it for the first time.
Risk of electrical shock!
Do not operate the device close to a water-filled kitchen sink!

Place the device on a level and clean surface.

Unlock the table lock (4) and release the carriage (3)

Place the remnant holder (15) on the carriage (3).

Use the slice thickness adjustment knob (7) to set the appropriate cutting thickness (0 to 15 mm).

The starting area (0 to 3 mm) can be used to fine-tune the thickness for thin slices (for salami and ham).
Injury hazard due to sharp blade!
The blade is extremely sharp. Do not let your hands get close to the blade.
After turning off the device, its drive system keeps running for a certain
period. When you finish your work, set the slice thickness to ‘0’.
TURNING THE DEVICE ON/OFF

Pull the power cord (9) by the plug (8) to the required length. RS94

Pull the power cord (9) by the plug (8) to the required length (max. 100 cm) and release slowly. The cable will remain at this length.

Plug the power cord (8) into the power grid.

Press the blocking button (10) to disable the safety mechanism. At the same time, press and hold the on/off button (11), until it locks in and starts the drive system of the device.

You can now release the blocking button (10) and the on/off button (11).

If you wish to turn the device off, press the on/off button (11) again.
ADJUSTING THE SPEED
(ONLY RS94) Picture 5
- By turning the speed adjustment button (12), you can control the blade (13) rotation speed.
- For harder dried meat products, we recommend that you turn the speed adjustment button (12) to the Max position.
- For very soft food items (such as cheese), we recommend the Min speed setting.
SLICING

- Place the remnant holder (15) on the carriage (3).
- Never use the appliance without the carriage (3) and the remnant holder (15)! Place the food on the carriage (3) against the finger protection (5) and gently press it against the slice thickness adjustment plate (6) with the remnant holder (15). Slice the item by gently pushing the carriage (3) towards the blade (13).
Note

Slice sausages and cheese first, and only then slice vegetables and bread.
This way, the device can be cleaned more easily. -
The engine can overheat!
After 5 minutes of continuous operation at most, turn off the device and wait for it to cool down.
DISASSEMBLING AND CLEANING
- The device must be cleaned after every use!
- For reasons of hygiene, the device must be cleaned immediately after slicing foods containing fat (such as meat, sausages and cheese).
- The blade should be wiped dry after each cleaning. Residues of moisture and nitrate salts contained in foodstuffs can cause corrosion.
- The device needs no maintenance! Thorough cleaning ensures a long lifespan for the device.
Electrical shock hazard!
Never submerge the deficient a liquid and do not wash it under water running
water or in a dishwasher.
Injury hazard due to a falling blade (13)!
Before cleaning the device, unplug the power cord (8) from the power supply
and remove the blade (13).
Do not hold the blade (13) by the cutting surface, hold it by the blade
protection.
Attention!
Surfaces may be damaged. Do not use harsh cleaning agents.
Removing and reinstalling the blade (13)

Place the carriage (3) in a position so that the blade (13) is accessible.

Remove the blade cover (14). Do this by pushing the cover with your hand in the opposite direction of cutting.

Rotate the blade cover by its handle and turn it clockwise so that it ends up in the vertical position.

Then pull out the blade (13).
-
To reinstall the blade (13), set the blade cover holder in the vertical position and insert the blade (13) into its seating.

Turn the blade cover holder anticlockwise, so that it ends up in the horizontal position.

Install the blade cover (14) on the blade cover holder. Pay attention to the correct position.

When reinstalling the blade (13), make sure it is installed correctly.
The blade cover handle must be in the horizontal position.
When removing and reinstalling the blade cover, the slice thickness adjustment
knob (7) needs to be in the position.

- When removing the carriage (3), turn the slice thickness adjustment knob (7) to the position.
- Remove the carriage (3) from the table (2).
- When reinstalling, insert the carriage (3) into the guides on the table (2) and push it in the longitudinal direction.
STORAGE
Injury hazard due to sharp blade!
Keep the device out of reach of children.
Turn the slice thickness adjustment knob (7) to the position.

Place the carriage (3) in the far right position and lock it with the table lock (4).

Store the power cord (9) in the storage space provided (17).
RS94 -
Gently pull the power plug (8) and allow it to roll up to the desired length. Then lightly pull at it again and release slowly. The power cord (9) will remain at this length.
DISPOSAL OF THE USED DEVICE
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way.
This device is in compliance with the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste
Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE). The Directive sets a common European framework for disposing
of and recycling used devices in accordance with the provisions. Consult a
qualified staff member of the vendor regarding the currently operating waste
disposal facilities.
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled at a local waste collection facility.
For the sake of the environment, do not dispose of your product together with household waste when it wears out; take it to a suitable waste drop off location instead. Information on waste collection facilities and their working hours can be obtained from your local authorities.
WARRANTY STATEMENT
THE APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
WE DECLARE:
- that the product will function correctly within the warranty period within the technical specifications, as long as you use it in accordance with its purpose and instructions for use.
- that at your request, if it is given within the warranty period, we will, at our own expense, take care of eliminating defects and deficiencies on the product that would cause the product to not function properly.
The warranty begins on the day of retail sale, which is evidenced by the attached warranty card and certified invoice (name and headquarters of the company that sold the product, stamp, date of sale and signature of the seller).
REPAIRS DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD
For repairs within the warranty period, claim the warranty with the original
invoice. Please also submit the attached warranty card of the device to the
request.
The warranty period is 24 months and begins on the day the goods are handed
over to the buyer.
Warning!
The name and address of the seller and the the handover of the goods to the buyer can be seen from the invoice, which is a mandatory attachment to the warranty card and a condition for its validity.
THE WARRANTY TERMINATES IN THE CASE OF:
- failure to follow the instructions for use,
- repairs carried out by an unauthorized person,
- installation of non-original components of the product,
- improper handling of the product,
- injuries caused by mechanical impacts due to the fault of the buyer or a third party,
- force majeure (flood, lightning, fire,…),
- use of the device in professional and gainful activities.

GUARANTEED SERVICING TIME
The time of guaranteed servicing is 3 years after the end of the warranty period. To purchase spare parts or service the product after the warranty period has expired, contact Eurel’s customer service center.

The guarantee and the enforcement of claims arising from the guarantee do not
exclude the consumer’s rights arising from the seller’s responsibility for
defects in the goods.
