SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL
- It is important to ensure that the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
- DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
- DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
- DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
- DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state. Recharge battery immediately.
- Recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
- There are no user serviceable components. DO NOT dismantle.
- DO NOT pull the charger plug from the mains socket by the lead.
1.2. BATTERY SAFETY
WARNING! To reduce the risk of burns or fire:
- DO NOT Attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack.
- DO NOT Crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in fire or water.
- DO NOT Expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
- Recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulation.
- If the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with water. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water and seek immediate medical attention.
INTRODUCTION
LED1801:
Slimline foldout inspection light for use in confined spaces, with 6mm minimum
thickness. Inspection arm can be rotated 180° and folded back for use as a
hands-free inspection light. Features 5W SMD LED which produce up to 500
lumens, operated by a rolling dimmer switch, and a 1W SMD LED in the end for
use as a directional torch. Suitable for hands-free operation with three
magnets and a hanging hook. Folds away, small and compact, suitable for
keeping in your pocket. Can be charged in a Sealey docking station – LED1801K
(not included). Powered by a 3.7V 2.6Ah rechargeable lithium-ion battery which
lasts up to 8hr. Supplied with USB charging lead.
LED1801K:
Docking station kit includes 2 x LED1801 and charging station. Each inspection
light has 5W SMD LED (side) + 1W SMD LED (top) producing up to 500 lumens.
When both inspection lights are docked it can be used as a floodlight with two
light options 50% and 100% producing 500 or 1000 lumens. Each inspection light
can extend and is able to rotate 180° making it easy to direct the light. Two
charging points with individual LED charging level indicators. Includes 5V~2A
mains adaptor and 1m Micro USB charging cable.

OPERATION
4.1. CHARGING
4.1.1. The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item
and its ability to accept charge will reduce over time. We will warranty it
against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year, this does
not cover fair wear and tear. If the battery is not properly charged before
first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these
circumstances we will not replace the battery even if it is less than one year
old.
Note: The torches will flash when the battery gets low.
4.1.2. Connect the charger into the charge socket on the lamp, see fig.1. Plug
into power supply and turn on, the red charge LED on the lamp will light as
the battery charges. When fully charged the LED turns green.
4.1.3. When the battery has fully charged (approx 3hrs) Disconnect from mains
supply.
Note: The Lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once
fully charged may be stored for up to six months without another charge.
4.2. Unfold lamp. Select either directional torch or inspection lamp.
Brightness is controlled by dimmer switch.
4.3. Lamp can be hung from the hook or attached using magnets.
4.4. When the lamps are docked in the station (LED1801K) you can turn both of
the docked torches on by using the On/Off button on top of the unit.
MAINTENANCE
5.1. Keep lamp clean and check for damage before every use. If damage is
observed, remove from use until unit is repaired.
5.2. The battery is not designed to be removed .

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.

WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the
product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd
are required to inform potential purchasers of products containing batteries
(as defined within these regulations).

Important: No Liability is accepted for incorrect use of this product.
Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is
required for any claim.
