niko Connected Dimmer 3 to 200W 2-wire
Description
The connected dimmer contains a dimmer contact to control the lighting. It
contains a transmitter and receiver that communicate wirelessly with the
wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control.
You can use the connected dimmer to replace a conventional switch. It is
equipped with an extension terminal so that, in combination with a
conventional push button, it can easily replace multiway or intermediate
switching.
The connected dimmer can switch its own contact.
With the addition of the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control, it is
possible to configure additional functionalities with the Niko Home Control
programming software. For example, it becomes possible to add it to a mood or
an all-off function.
It is possible to disconnect the control from its built-in contact. That way,
you have complete flexibility to configure the switching contact and the
controls separately via the programming software.

Settings
In an installation without a wireless smart hub, the dimmer will control the
wired lamp. More advanced options become available if you use a wireless smart
hub and the Niko Home Control programming software.

Memory function
Stand-alone mode: The memory mode is always active and cannot be disabled.
With the memory active, this function and the last set light level are stored
in a non-volatile memory; i.e. it will not be lost in the event of a power
failure.
With the memory function, the dimmer switches on the first time at a light
level selected by Niko. After that, the dimmer switches on at the last set
value.
With the memory function, the push button functions as follows:
- press briefly: on at previous level / off
- hold down when off: the dimmer dims up from the minimum light level
- when dimming up: the dimmer stops at the maximum
- when dimming down, the dimmer stops for 2 sec. at the minimum and then dims back up a renewed (long) press reverses the dimming direction
Connected mode: The memory function is active by default. It can be disabled via the Niko Home Control II configuration software.
