    It is the user’s responsibility to check the following: Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and
    all electrical connections for wear and damage. Electrical safety information, it is important that the following information is read and understood. Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.

  • DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.

  • DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.

  • DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced is repaired/replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.

  •  All circuits supplying the inputs of transformers must be protected. It should be noted that the input current on switch on may exceed 20 times the normal load current. This may cause some types of protective current to open. This should be borne in mind when selecting protective devices. Sealey recommend that installation work and repairs are carried out by a qualified electrician.

GENERAL SAFETY

    Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this transformer.

  • Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the transformer, as well as the potential hazards.

  • WARNING!
    Disconnect the transformer from the mains power before performing any maintenance.

  • Maintain the transformer in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

  •  Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non-authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

  • WARNING!
    DO NOT connect to mains if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.

  •  Keep the transformer clean for best and safest performance.

  •  Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.

  • DO NOT use the transformer for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.

  •  DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the transformer.

  • DO NOT allow untrained persons to use the transformer.

  •  DO NOT use the transformer when you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

  • When not in use unplug from the mains power supply and store in a safe, dry, childproof area

INTRODUCTION

110V Transformer with tool rated performance suitable for intermittent running of power tools and continuous running of lighting products within specified capacity. IP44 Rated unit with case manufactured from GRP and insulated to class H. Fitted with thermostatic overload protection. Supplied with 2 x 32A/110V sockets and 4 x 16A/110V sockets.

SPECIFICATION

OPERATION

  • All circuits supplying the inputs of transformers must be protected. It should be noted that the input current on switch on may exceed 20 times the normal load current. This may cause some types of protective current to open. This should be borne it mind when selecting protective devices.
  • Where transformers have centre tapped to earth (CTE) output circuits, all switching and protective devices used on output circu its must be of the double pole type. All switching and protective devices used on three phase output circuits must be of the multi-pole type.
  • Transformers are protected by MCBs, if the power stops, check the MCB first, switch off the supply, reset the MCB and then switch the power on.

WEEE REGULATIONS

Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
