General Instructions
The Pylo 200-LTE utilizes step-sensing technology. It is not necessary to turn
the scale on or off manually. Instead, the scale will turn on when it detects
a user and automatically turn itself off after the measurement is complete.
Inserting the Batteries
- Open the battery door in the back of the scale.
- Insert the batteries (4 x 1.5V AA) according to the polarity indications marked inside the battery compartment.
- Once batteries are inserted correctly, the screen will briefly flash all digits, like below:
CAUTION
- When the symbol is shown, it is time to replace the batteries on the device. Please replace all four batteries at once. Do not mix used and new batteries.
- Depleted batteries are hazardous waste. Do NOT dispose of them together with the household garbage.
- Please refer to the local ordinances and recycling instructions regarding disposal of the worn batteries and scrapped devices.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc) batteries.
- If you do not intend to use this unit for a prolonged period of time, remove the batteries before storing.
- If the scale is used three times per day, fresh batteries can be expected to last around one year.
Changing the Measurement Unit
The unit switch button is on the back of the scale. The default measurement
unit is “ lb”. You may press the button to choose among “pound”, “kilogram”
and “stone”.
Daily Measurement
After placing the scale on a flat and hard surface, step onto the scale platform to initiate a weight measurement. Be sure to take off your shoes and any bulky items of clothing!
-
Stand still and keep full contact with the scale. Once the display screen blinks twice a measurement has been taken and locked. The scale will then automatically connect to the internet to send the reading.
-
After connecting to the internet, the weight data will be transmitted. When data is successfully transmitted, “OK” will be displayed and the digit “ ” will appear.
-
In the event that the scale is unable to reach the mobile network, “ ” will be displayed. In this case, the measurement is saved and will be sent on the next successful transmission. When a measurement is saved pending transmission, the “ ” is shown until success.
