Product Usage Instructions

Assembly & Setup

  1. Place the mixer on a flat, clean, and dry surface.
  2. Ensure that the plug is removed from the power outlet and the speed control is set to ‘0’.
  3. Turn the unlock button to the left, push the head all the way up, and turn the unlock button to the right to secure the head.
  4. Attach the desired accessory (beater, dough hook, whisk) to the head by sliding it up around the drive shaft.
  5. Rotate the accessory a quarter turn counterclockwise to lock it in place. Release the accessory to engage the lock position. Note: Use the dough hook up to speed 1 only.
  6. Turn the unlock button to the left again, push the head down completely, and turn the unlock button to the right to secure the head.
  7. Place the lid on the mixing bowl. Slide the filling opening onto the lid.
  8. Insert the plug into the power outlet and choose the desired speed by rotating the speed control.
  9. To stop the mixer, turn the speed control to ‘0’.

Mixing/Kneading/Whisking

  1. Follow steps 1-9 from the Assembly & Setup section.
  2. Add the ingredients to the mixing bowl.
  3. Start the mixer at a low speed and gradually increase as needed.
  4. Monitor the mixing progress and adjust the speed if necessary.
  5. Once the mixing is complete, turn the speed control to ‘0’ and unplug the mixer.
  6. Carefully remove the accessory from the head by rotating it a quarter turn counterclockwise and sliding it down.
  7. Unlock the head by turning the unlock button to the left and pushing it up. Remove the head from the mixer.

Using the Meat Grinder

  • Turn off the mixer and unplug it from the power outlet before adding, removing, or cleaning accessories.
  • Follow steps 1-5 from the Assembly & Setup section.
  • Attach the meat grinder accessory to the head by sliding it up around the drive shaft and rotating it a quarter turn counterclockwise to lock it in place.
  • Connect the meat grinder to a suitable container or surface to collect the ground meat.
  • Insert the plug into the power outlet and turn on the mixer at the desired speed.
  • Feed small pieces of meat into the grinder, using the pusher if necessary.
  • Continue grinding until all the meat has been processed.
  • Turn off the mixer, unplug it, and carefully remove and clean the meat grinder accessory.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt.

All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you purchased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.

The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automatically in the following cases:

  • If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
  • In case of incorrect connection, e.g. electrical voltage that is too high.
  • In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
  • In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
  • In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-authorised third parties.
  • If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or provided by the supplier / manufacturer.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

Read all instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Make sure all packaging materials and promotional stickers have been removed before using the appliance for the first time.
  • Make sure children cannot play with the packaging material.
  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 16 years.
  • The appliance must be disconnected from its power source when not in use, during service and when replacing parts. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • CAUTION: in order to avoid a hazard this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
  • Never leave the appliance unattended while it is functioning.
  • Do not use or store this appliance outdoors.
  • Do not use this appliance for other than intended use.
  • Check carefully that the voltage and frequency of the power net match the indications on the rating label of the appliance.
  • The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local standards and requirements.
  • Only use the utensils delivered with the appliance.
  • Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the DOMO Service Department or its service agent for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
  • To protect against electrical shock or burns, do not immerse unit, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
  • Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
  • A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD.
  • Unwrap the cord completely to prevent overheating of the cord.
  • Do not let the power supply cord hang over the edge of a counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not allow the power cord supply to run underneath or around the unit.
  • Make sure the appliance is correctly assembled, then plug the cord in the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn controls to “OFF” or “0” position, then remove the plug from the wall.
  • Never pull the cord or appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
  • Do not use the appliance if there is any water in it or the parts are still wet after cleaning.
  • Do not use the appliance without ingredients.
  • Handle with great care when using sharp accessories like knives. Only touch the accessories when they stopped moving inside the appliance.
  • Failure to maintain this appliance in a clean condition could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
  • Any injury or damage caused by failure to comply with these rules are at your own risk. Neither the manufacturer, importer, or the supplier may be held liable.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Remove the appliance and the accessories from the packaging. Remove any promotional stickers.
  • Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  • Never immerse the motor unit in water to avoid electrocution.

ASSEMBLY & USE

KNEADING/BEATING/WHISKING

  1. Depending on the nature of the ingredients, the mixing bowl with lid can make 2 kg of dough.
  2. Place the appliance on a flat, clean and dry surface.
  3. Make sure that the plug is removed from the socket and that the speed control is set to ‘0’.
  4. Turn the release button a quarter turn to the left, push the head up entirely and turn the release button to the right again, so that it points upwards, to lock the head.
  5. Put the mixing bowl in the base and turn it clockwise so it locks. Put the ingredients into the bowl.
  6. Choose the accessory you want to use: beater, dough hook, balloon whisk.
    • Attach the accessory to the head by sliding it around the axis.
    • Turn the accessory a quarter turn counterclockwise.
    • Release the accessory so that it falls into the lock position. Caution: only use the dough hook up to a maximum of speed 1.
  7. Turn the release button a quarter turn to the left, push the head down entirely and turn the release button a quarter turn to the right again so that it point upwards, to lock the head.
  8. Place the lid onto the bowl. Slide the opening on the lid.
  9. Put the plug into the socket and select the desired speed by turning the speed control knob.
  10. During the preparation you can add ingredients through the fill opening in the lid.
    • Caution: Do not use the appliance for longer than 10 minutes at a time. After 10 minutes of use, let the appliance cool down for 30 minutes before using it again.
  11. To stop the appliance, turn the speed control knob to the ‘0’ position.

MEAT GRINDER

Turn off the device, and take the plug out of the socket before you add, remove or clean any accessories.

  1. Open the lid at the tip of the multifunctional head of the food processor: tilt the lid slightly upwards and remove the lid.
  2. The connecting point for accessories is now shown.
  3. Place the meat grinder at an angle of 25° to the connection point and tighten it by making a quarter turn clockwise. You hear a click when it is securely fastened. Your meat grinder is now in a perfect vertical position.
  4. For grinding meat insert in succession: the worm wheel and the cutting knife.
  5. Then make a selection from the grinding discs: fine or coarse.
  6. Position the notch on the disc at the height of the projecting catch.
  7. Connect it altogether with the screw ring.
  8. Position the bowl in the best way possible so as to put your meat in it.
  9. You can use the pushing rod to press the meat firmly inside.
  10. For sausage making, insert the following components:

  12. To remove the meat grinder, press the release button next to the connection point for meat grinder. Make a quarter turn clockwise on the meat grinder. Clean all parts thoroughly and dry carefully before using them again.

Cleaning

  • Do not use the dishwasher for cleaning the meat grinder.

BLENDER

  1. Depending on the nature of the ingredients, the blender is capable of mixing 1.5 litres.
  2. Put the multifunctional head in a horizontal position and remove the lid at the top of the head by turning it clockwise.
  3. Add the ingredients to the work bowl and close the work bowl with the lid, including themeasuring cup in the feed tube.
  4. Place the blender on the connection point and lock the blender by turning it counterclockwise.
  5. Use the speed regulator to blend.
  6. During blending, it is possible to remove the measuring cup from the lid and add ingredients through the feed tube. Then always close the opening again with the measuring cup.

Note

  • Never run the blender empty.
  • Never fill the work bowl with boiling fluids; always allow them to cool to room temperature.
  • If you want to crush ice, do not use more than 9 ice cubes (4x4x2 cm) at a time.

VEGETABLE SLICER

Turn off the machine and pull the plug from the outlet before mounting, removing or cleaning any accessories.

  1. Open the lid at the tip of the multifunctional head of the food processor: tilt the lid slightly upwards and remove the lid.
  2. The connection point for accessories is revealed.
  3. Place the vegetable slicer on the connection point at an angle of 25° and turn it counterclockwise a quarter turn. You will hear a click when it is attached. The vegetable slicer is now perfectly vertical.
  4. Press the grater into the opening of the vegetable slicer. You may select from a cutter and 2 different graters.
  5. Operate the vegetable slicer with the food processor’s speed regulator.
  6. Vegetables can be pushed into the vegetable slicer safely by using the pusher.
  7. To remove the vegetable slicer: Press the unlock button (see diagram) and turn the vegetable slicer clockwise a quarter turn.
  8. Remove the vegetable slicer and replace the lid onto the connection.
  9. Clean and dry all parts thoroughly prior to using them again.

DISASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the plug from the socket.
  2. Remove the lid from the mixing bowl.
  3. Turn the release button a quarter turn to the left, push the head up entirely and turn the release button to the right again, so that it points upwards, to lock the head.
  4. Push the accessory out of the locked position and turn it clockwise a quarter turn. Then slide the accessory off of the drive shaft and remove the accessory. Use caution when removing the accessories since there may be sharp edges.
  5. Turn the bowl counterclockwise out of the lock position and remove the bowl.
  6. Turn the release button a quarter turn to the left, push the head down entirely and turn the release button a quarter turn to the right again so that it point upwards, to lock the head.

RECOMMENDED SPEEDS ACCESSORIES

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
  • Never immerse the motor unit in water or under running water. Clean the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Disassemble all accessories according to the instructions under the section ‘Disassembly’.
  • For quick cleaning, rinse the accessories under running water.
  • For thorough cleaning, wash, rinse and dry the accessories.
  • To clean the blender, combine warm water with a few drops of detergent in the blender.
  • Put the lid on the blender. Briefly turn the speed regulator to pulse and back. Repeat if needed. Rinse the blender under running water and allow it to drip-dry upside down.
