JUPITER Nutrimix High Performance Mixer
Operating
Congratulations on the purchase of your new JUPITER kitchen appliance. You have chosen a high-quality, modern appliance. Further information on this and other products is available on our website at www.jupiter-gmbh.de. The Nutrimix is intended for the program-controlled crushing, blending, heating and preparation of foodstuffs in normal domestic quantities in a domestic environment or in domestic-like, non-commercial applications. Domestic-like applications include, for example, use in staff break rooms in shops, offices, agricultural and other commercial businesses, small hotels and similar residential facilities. Only use the appliance for normal domestic processing quantities. The appliance is maintenance-free. Please read the operating instructions and, in particular, the safety notes, before using the appliance for the first time. Keep the operating instructions safe and always store them with the appliance.
Important safety notes
WARNING Risk of electric shock!
- Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
- Never immerse the appliance or the power supply cord in water.
- Never hold the appliance or the power supply cord under running water.
- Do not use the appliance if there is any evidence of damage to either the appliance itself or the power supply cord.
- Do not insert any objects into the ventilation openings of the motor unit.
CAUTION Tampering with the appliance can lead to injuries!
- The appliance has a security mechanism that prevents operation if the container is not in position. This security mechanism should not be circumvented or tampered with.
CAUTION Rotating parts can cause injury!
- Never put your hand into the appliance when the motor is running.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains before reaching into the container.
CAUTION Sharp parts can cause injury!
- The cutting surfaces of the stainless steel blades are very sharp! Handle the stainless steel blades with care.
CAUTION Risk of injury from the container wall becoming hot, from hot splashing foodstuffs and hot steam!
- At cooking temperatures above 60 °C, foodstuffs that spit or splash out, and any contact with the walls of the container can lead to burns.
- Do not exceed the maximum fill quantity of the container. The maximum fill quantity is marked on the wall of the container (1500 ml, marked MAX).
- When the container is opened, escaping steam can cause burns.
CAUTION Unintentional motor start-up!
- Unplug the appliance from the mains:
- after every use
- when leaving the room
- in the event of a power cut
- in the event of a malfunction.
NOTE Running the appliance while empty can cause damage!
Never operate the appliance when empty. This can damage the blade mount and/or seal.
- Note the information on the rating plate and only use the appliance in accordance with this information.
- Always ensure that the appliance is completely assembled before operating it, with the container lid and seal in place and the sealing cap in place and locked! Alternatively, the tamper provided can be inserted in the container lid instead of the sealing cap.
- Only use the tamper when the container lid is in place.
- Only use the original accessories supplied.
- Children should not use the appliance. They should not play with it either.
- This appliance may be used by persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or by those who lack experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the dangers involved.
- In order to avoid damage, keep the appliance and the power supply cord away from sharp edges and hot surfaces.
- The appliance may only be repaired by JUPITER customer service.

Assembly/disassembly
CAUTION Sharp parts can cause injury!

The cutting surfaces of the stainless steel blades are very sharp! Handle the stainless steel blades with care.

Place container C from above onto the motor coupling D of motor unit F.
Important: When positioning note the coding of the container and the motor coupling
Tip: If you cannot quite press the container down, turn it slightly to the left and right so that it can grip the motor coupling. motor coupling. -
Place container lid B with the seal on the container.

Place the sealing cap A in the container lid.

Lock the bayonet closure by turning clockwise.

It can be disassembled using the same steps in reverse order.
Wet and dry containers
CAUTION Risk of injury from the container wall becoming hot, from hot splashing foodstuffs and hot steam!
- At cooking temperatures above 60 °C, foodstuffs that spit or splash out, and any contact with the walls of the container can lead to burns.
- Do not exceed the maximum fill quantity of the container. The maximum fill quantity is marked on the wall of the container (1500 ml, marked MAX).
- Make sure when removing the container that none of the hot contents can escape.
Important: Always ensure that the appliance is completely assembled before operating it, with the container lid and seal in place and the sealing cap in place and locked! Alternatively, the tamper provided can be inserted in the container lid instead of the sealing cap.
Using the containers
The appliance can be operated with 2 different containers:
- Wet container with 6-vane blade
- Dry container with 2-vane blade
Further information on using the containers is provided in the enclosed recipe book.

- The appliance has a security mechanism that prevents operation if the container is not in position.
- The container has a capacity of 1500 ml. The fill quantity is marked on the wall of the container in ml, cups (approx. 235 ml) and oz. (ounces, approx. 30 ml).
- The sealing cap is locked with a bayonet closure in the container lid.
Tamper with thermometer
With the tamper you can push pieces of food that are driven upwards in the
container back down and measure the temperature in the container.
Important:
- Only use the tamper when the container lid is in place.
- The maximum displayable temperature is 105 °C.

- To activate/deactivate the temperature display, press the button briefly.
- To switch the temperature display between °C °F press the button for longer than 2 seconds
Info: The temperature display switches off automatically after approx. 2 minutes.
Changing the battery
- Screw the lid H off.
- Carefully remove the display module I from the tamper housing M.
- Remove the battery K on the underside of the display module I from its holder. To do this press the tab on the side outwards.
- Insert the new battery (CR2032). Important: The positive pole of the battery (+) is visible.
- Insert the display module I carefully back into the tamper housing M. Important: When installing note the coding of the display module and tamper housing.
- Screw the lid H on.
Important: Make sure that the power supply cords of the display module do not get caught or jammed!
Control elements
The Nutrimix is controlled by a backlit, touch-sensitive control panel.
Tapping the symbols selects the relevant function.

After plugging into the mains and tapping the background lighting on the LCD display lights up.

In the left-hand part of the display (speed) the current speed level (1 – 10) is displayed when the appliance is running.

In the right-hand part of the display, the elapsed processing time or the time remaining on the current program is displayed in minutes (m) and seconds (s) during operation.
PULSE

Tapping activates the PULSE function from standby mode.

Within 30 s you can then switch the speed of the blade to level 10 by pressing again and holding it.
A brief signal tone is sounded and all 10 points of the manual speed setting are lit up brightly.

First use
- Ensure that the appliance’s mains plug is plugged out.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, thoroughly clean all parts of the appliance (see section Cleaning).
- Always ensure that the appliance is completely assembled before operating it, with the container lid and seal in place and the sealing cap in place and locked! Alternatively, the tamper provided can be inserted in the container lid instead of the sealing cap.
- Place the appliance on a non-slip, even and clean surface.

Info: If it is not used, the appliance automatically switches after approx. 3 minutes into energy-saving mode. -
Select a program or a speed level by tapping a symbol.
The selected program symbol flashes or all points up to the selected speed level light up brightly, depending on which option was selected. -
Start processing within 10 s by tapping .
A brief signal tone is sounded and the appliance starts processing.
Processing runs, lights white- When the program ends, a short signal tone is sounded and the appliance automatically switches off.

Cleaning
WARNING Risk of electric shock!
- Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
CAUTION Sharp parts can cause injury!
- The cutting surfaces of the stainless steel blades are very sharp! Handle the stainless steel blades with care.
NOTE Dishwasher can cause damage!
- The appliance components are not dishwasher-safe. Only clean the components using lukewarm water and washing-up liquid.
- Use the cleaning program to pre-clean the appliance (Program description see page 13).
- Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
- Never immerse the motor unit in water and never hold it under running water.
- Only ever clean the motor unit and the mount for the container with a damp cloth.
- Disassemble all components after every use and thoroughly clean all parts that have come into contact with food.
- Also remove the seal on the container lid for cleaning.
Tip: Some foods such as carrots, tomatoes and also curry can cause discolouration of the plastic parts; this is normal. You can reduce this discolouration by wiping the plastic parts with a kitchen towel and a little cooking oil. Then wipe this away, first with warm water and then with cold water and a little washing-up liquid.

Storage
Store the appliance in its original packaging, in a dry, dustfree and cool
place that is out of reach of children.
Notes on disposal
This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The directive stipulates the
EU-wide framework for the collection and recycling of old electrical devices.
You can obtain the latest disposal information from the specialist trade or
your local authority.
