Product Usage Instructions
Discovering and Connecting Readers
- Make sure your iOS device’s Bluetooth is turned on.
- Open the application that uses the Zebra RFID SDK for Xamarin.
- In the application, navigate to the reader discovery section.
- Tap on the “Discover Readers” button to start the discovery process.
- Wait for the application to detect available RFID readers nearby.
- Select the desired reader from the list of discovered readers.
- Tap on the “Connect” button to establish a Bluetooth connection with the selected reader.
Performing Basic Inventory
- Make sure you have successfully connected to a reader as described in the previous section.
- In the application, navigate to the inventory section.
- Tap on the “Start Inventory” button to initiate the inventory process.
- The application will continuously scan for RFID tags in the vicinity of the reader.
- As tags are detected, they will be displayed in the application’s UI along with relevant information.
- To stop the inventory process, tap on the “Stop Inventory” button.
Barcode Reading
- Make sure you have successfully connected to a reader as described in the “Discovering and Connecting Readers” section.
- In the application, navigate to the barcode scanning section.
- Position the reader’s barcode scanner near the barcode you want to scan.
- Press the trigger button on the reader to initiate the barcode scanning process.
- The scanned barcode will be displayed in the application’s UI.
