Product Usage Instructions

1. Installation

To install the Electric Vehicle AC Charger, follow the steps below:

1. Choose a suitable location on the wall near your parking spot.
2. Make sure there is a wall hole available for cable routing.
3. Mount the control box securely on the wall using the provided screws.

2. Connection

To connect the Electric Vehicle AC Charger, follow the steps below:

1. Connect the AC power cord to a properly grounded electrical outlet.
2. Insert the charging cable connector into the charging port of your electric vehicle.

Product description

This product consist of control box, charger, plug, cable and converter. It is a portable electric vehicle charging device that enables car owners to safely and conveniently charge electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid vehicles anywhere, through a standard home power interface.

Function manual

1. Normal charging manual

   • Insert the plug into the wall socket, green light is on, control box is owered on normally. The screen interface is as shown in Figure 1.
   • If no function setting is required, please insert the charger to connect, the yellow indicator light is always on, wait for the vehicle authorization, which takes about 2 seconds.
   • The connection is normal, charging starts, and green light turns into a meteor light. (Fig. 2) and (Fig. 3) alternate flashing.
   • After charging is completed, green light is shown. (Fig. 3) and (Fig. 4) alternate display.
     Note: This product has the function of automatic power off when fully charged

2. Current switching instructions

   • Insert the plug into wall socket, green light is always on,the control box is powered on normally. Long press to enter the setting interface. (Figure 5)
   • Click to select [Current Switching], long press to enter current selection, click to select the adaptation current (Fig. 6), and long press to confirm to complete the setting.

3. Charging instructions for appointment

   • Insert plug into wall socket, green light is always on, shows that control box is powered on normally. Long press to enter settings. (Figure 5)
   • Click® to select [charging reservation], long press to enter reservation selection, click to select the start time of the scheduled charging (Figure 7), long press to confirm, and complete the setting. Enter into timer mode, please insert the charger (Figure 8).
   • While on timer mode (Figure 8), the yellow indicator light is always on; when the time is up, it will automatically enter into normal charging mode.
     Note: Do not insert charger until setting is done.

4. Ungrounded emergency use instructions

   • Insert the plug into wall socket, product will automatically detect grounding state.
   • If grounding is normal, enter normal charging mode; if the grounding is abnormal (Figure 9), the yellow indicator light flashes slowly.
   • If emergency charging is required, please press and hold to enter the normal charging setting after confirmation.
     Note: When the grounding is abnormal, it is recommended to stop charging and replace the socket with normal grounding for charging; it cannot be in emergency charging mode for a prolong time.

5. Emergency termination of charging

   • For emergency power off, ple ase press and hold for 3 seconds (Figure 10), and then press and hold again to confirm to stop charging.
     Note: During the normal charging process, do not forcefully pull out the plug or charge head.

6. Cancellation of scheduled charging

   • If you want to cancel the scheduled charging, please press and hold for 3 seconds (Figure 11 ), and then press and hold to confirm to cancel scheduled charging.

Safety protection manual

1. Leakage protection: After the leakage protection is activated, it needs to be powered off and restarted to recover.
2. Overcurrent protection: When the current exceeds the warning value, the control box will cut off the power output, and automatically restart after 1 OS. After 4 cycles, it will not automatically recover, and it needs to be powered off and restarted to recover.
3. Overvoltage protection: When the voltage exceeds 275V, the protection is activated, and it will automatically recover afterthe voltage is restored and stabilized.
4. Under-voltage protection: when the voltage is lower than 100V, the protection is started, and it will automatically recover after the voltage is restored and stabilized.
5. Temperature protection: start protection when the temperature in the control box exceeds 176° F, and automatically recover when the temperature drops to 167° F

Caution when using

1. This product must be plugged into a grounded socket for grounding use to avoid the risk of electric shock without grounding.
2. When using this product to charge, it is necessary to couple the gun head and the vehicle interface in place.
3. When using this product to charge, it is forbidden to charge the control box in the air to prevent the power plug from being badly contacted and ablated.
4. Use the work process to withstand high current, do not touch sharp metal conductors to prevent electric shock accidents.
5. The outer shell of the product is made of thermoplastic, so it should not be impacted by external force so as not to affect the use.
6. When starting to charge, first insert the plug to connect to the power supply, and then insert the gun head to connect to the vehicle. Aftercharging,first pull out the vehicle end of the gun head and then pull out the power end plug
7. When charging, it is strictly forbidden to place the device in the car or in a confined space; it is strictly forbidden to place the device near objects that will generate high temperature.
8. This product can be used both indoors and outdoors.
