Product Usage Instructions
Connect the Network Cable and Power On
Connect the network cable to the A4 MFP Network device and plug in the power cable to a power source.
Obtain IP Address
After powering on the device, it will automatically obtain an IP address. Note down the IP address (x.x.x.x) for future use.
Set Date and Time
- Access the System Settings menu.
- Select the Date and Time option.
- Set the desired date and time for the device.
Set the SMTP Server
- Access the Properties menu.
- Select the Network SMTP option.
- Configure the SMTP server settings according to your email provider’s instructions.
Create Your Address Book
- Access the Address Book menu.
- Select the Individual option.
- Add a new contact by accessing the Properties menu and selecting Add New.
Create Filing Profiles
- Access the FTP/CIFS Setup File Destination menu.
- Select the Properties option.
- Add a new filing profile by selecting Add New.
Place a Document:
Place the document to be scanned on the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) or the Flatbed scanner.
Send Your Document:
Send the document using the A4 MFP Network device by following these steps:
- Select the desired document-sending method.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the document-sending process.
