Precautions for Safe Use

  • The following basic safety instructions shall be followed during use.
  • The input voltage of the appliance is AC220-240V, 50-60Hz 1500W. Please confirm it before use.
  • If the appliance needs to be repaired, please contact our customer service. Do not disassemble yourselves to avoid danger.
  • Be sure to disconnect the power supply before disassembling, assembling or adjusting any part of the appliance.
  • Please check whether the power cord, plug and other parts are damaged before use. If any damage to the power cord is found, contact the customer service.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid, or rinse the appliance with water or other liquid.
  • Do not clean the main body of the appliance with a dishwasher.
  • Do not use the appliance near water or directly on a glass surface.
  • Do not clean the appliance with an abrasive sponge or cloth.
  • Do not place the appliance near any heat source.
  • Do not exceed the rated voltage of the wall socket and power cord to avoid fire caused by leakage.
  • Unplug the appliance when not in use and when cleaning.
  • It is not recommended to use the appliance with a power strip or a detachable power cord.
  • Do not move the appliance when there is food in it.
  • The appliance shall be stored out of reach of children. Do not allow people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge to use the appliance.
  • The appliance is only suitable for household use.
  • Do not operate with wet hands during working, and do not move the appliance when it is powered on.
  • Avoid water on the control panel and the power cord. Otherwise, the insulation performance may be reduced. Or, the electric arc, short circuit and electric leakage may occur.
  • After use, unplug from the power supply in time to avoid accidents.
  • The voltage used shall be the voltage indicated by the appliance. Do not share the same power supply with other electrical appliances.
  • Before use, all parts shall be assembled in place. Food shall be put properly into the frying pot and onto the frying grill. Do not leave it empty to heat for a long time.
  • Do not store flammable and explosive items near the appliance, including alcohol, gasoline, banana oil and similar.
  • The frying pot and the frying grill of the appliance shall be cleaned with hot water before first use.
  • To avoid danger, the appliance shall not be used near or under curtains and other combustible materials. The appliance shall be used 20- 30cm away from walls.
  • Do not block or touch the air outlet to avoid scalding.
  • Do not let the power cord touch high-temperature surfaces when in use. It is normal to see the smoke coming out during first use because there is anti-rust oil on the heating tubes.
  • If the appliance is used improperly, or without following the instructions in this manual, the seller shall not be responsible for such damage.
  • Make sure that the raw ingredients in the appliance become golden brown instead of black or brown till you take them out. Any burnt parts shall be cut off and discarded.

Operation Instructions

  1. Power button: press to power on/off, to start/pause.
  2. You will hear a beep sound every time when pressing . After it is powered on, press , the icon keeps on constantly and the appliance enters standby mode. The operation steps are as follows: power on­standby mode-setting mode-working mode-standby mode-OFF mode.
  3. When the appliance is powered on, it is in the initial state. Press to select the menu functions in the following cycle: Chips-Pizza-Chicken Wings-Drumsticks-Steak-Shrimps-Fish-Initial State. Then, press to start to work (it exits setting mode and enters standby mode if there is no operation to start the appliance within 20 seconds).
  4. Time control: press to switch to time setting; press or to adjust.
  5. Press to increase the time by 1 minute and the maximum time is 60 minutes; press to decrease the time by 1 minute and the minimum time is 1 minute. Every time when pressing or , you will hear a short beep sound.
  6. Press and hold , you will hear a short beep sound and each increment is a change of 1 minute.
  7. Press and hold II, you will hear a short beep sound and each decrement is a change of 1 minute.
  8. Temperature control: press to switch to temperature setting; press or to adjust.
  9. Press to increase the temperature by S°C and the maximum temperature is 200°C; press to decrease the temperature by S°C and the minimum temperature is 80°C. Every time when pressing or , you will hear a short beep sound.
  10. Press and hold , you will hear a short beep sound and each increment is a change of S°C.
  11. Press and hold , you will hear a short beep sound and each decrement is a change of S°C.
  12. Press and hold , the lamp is on for 1 minute and automatically goes out.
  13. Standby mode
  14. The appliance is equipped with a micro switch. Slide the frying pot into the appliance, and the switch closes. Power on the appliance, then you can hear a short beep sound. At this moment, all icons except go on and out in 1 second (only the display screen and are on). It enters standby mode when you hear a second short beep sound.
  15. In the standby mode, only works while the others do not.
  16. Setting mode:
  17. When in standby mode, press to enter setting mode and meanwhile you can hear a short beep sound. At this moment, keeps flashing and the display screen and all menu function icons go on, and all buttons work. The default temperature and time are displayed on the screen alternately every S seconds.
  18. When it is displaying the temperature on the screen, press and it switches from temperature to time display, and meanwhile you can hear a short beep sound. Press or to adjust the time.
  19. When it is displaying the time on the screen, press and it switches from time to temperature display, and meanwhile you can hear a short beep sound. Press or to adjust the temperature.
  20. Press to select among 7 different functions. Once selected, the corresponding icon goes on and flashes. You can also set the desired temperature and time after selection. The appliance will exit standby mode in 20 seconds if there is no further operation.
  21. Working mode:
  22. When in the setting mode, press to enter working mode and meanwhile you can hear a short beep sound. The fan starts to rotate and it displays the temperature and time on the screen alternately every S seconds. All buttons work and the icons go on. Select one menu function and it flashes while the other icons are constantly on.
  23. Once the menu function is selected, the corresponding icon goes on and flashes during working. You can still press to select or change among 7 different menu functions. Press to set the temperature and time if necessary and the operation instructions are the same as those in the setting mode part.
  24. The heating tubes start to heat with the set time and temperature. When the heating tubes are working, goes on red. If not, goes out.
  25. When in operation, the time shown on the display screen gradually decreases itself. When it reads 0, the appliance automatically switches off, i.e. when it reads oa-07-… -01-00 (automatic OFF mode).
  26. When in operation, press and hold for 3 seconds to manually switch off the appliance and you can hear a short beep sound.
  27. Switching off the appliance:
  28. The appliance can be switched off in 2 ways: automatic OFF mode and manual OFF mode.
  29. After the operation is finished, the appliance automatically switches off. At this moment, the heating tubes stop heating but the fan continues to rotate for 10 seconds, only the display screen and are on. After the fan stops working, you can hear 5 long beeps and it goes to standby mode.
  30. When in operation, you can press and hold for 3 seconds to manually switch off the appliance. At this moment, the heating tubes stop heating but the fan continues to rotate for 10 seconds, the display screen keeps illuminating, and only is on and works while the others do not. After the fan stops working, you can hear 5 long beeps and it goes to the initial state, in which case, the memory function doesn’t work.
  31. Memory Function:
  32. If the appliance is powered off or the frying pot is removed when in operation, the appliance can still memorize the operating procedure within 2 hours. The appliance can resume its operation from where it stopped before if you re-power it on or put the frying pot back. At this moment, you can hear a short beep sound and the display screen together with all buttons go on and out in one second, then the appliance starts to work with a second short beep sound. The memory function doesn’t work if the appliance is switched off manually by pressing , in which case, the appliance goes to its initial state.
  33. Error codes:
  *  **E1:** when the sensor is disconnected, it reads E1 on the screen;
  *  **E2:** when the sensor is short-circuited, it reads E2 on the screen.

User Guide

Notes before first use:

  • Please carefully read the manual.
  • Take all the accessories out of the appliance and packaging carton.
  • Wash the frying pot and the frying grill with hot water for sterilization and use them till they are fully dry.
  • A free space of 20-30cm shall be reserved around the appliance and do not place anything on the top of it.
  • Before first use, set the temperature to the maximum to preheat for 10-15 minutes to remove the anti-rust oil on the surface of the heating tubes. It is normal to see smoke coming out during first use.

General Operations:

  • Place the appliance on a flat surface and affix the frying grill to the frying pot. (See Figure 2)

  • Put food onto the frying grill, and slide the frying pot into the appliance. Note that the pot shall be pushed in properly in its position, otherwise, the appliance can not be powered on. (See Figure 1)

  • When the frying pot is in its position and the appliance is powered on, adjust the required time and temperature by the control panel. Press the power button and the appliance starts working. It is recommended to pull out the frying pot to shake or flip the ingredients during cooking for a better and more even cooking result, and then push the pot back into the appliance to resume cooking.

  • A beep sound you will hear when the set cooking time is finished and the food is ready. You can take out the food in the pot to the plate or others.

  • Unplug and cut off the power supply. Clean the frying pot and the appliance till it has cooled down to room temperature.
    Note: When cooking foods such as cakes, quiches or muffins, the amount of food in the pot shall not exceed half of the maximum.

  • Place the ingredients in the frying pot without reaching the heating tubes.

  • Do not fill the frying pot with oil as it may cause fire hazard.

  • Do not touch the interior parts of the appliance while it is working.

  • Clean the appliance after each use.

  • The frying pot and the frying grill are finished with a non-stick coating. Do not clean them with metal or abrasive cleaning implements, as this may damage the coating.

  • After cooking, unplug from the power socket and allow the appliance to cool down for 15-20 minutes. Remove the frying pot from the appliance to cool down more quickly.

  • If there are stains stuck on the bottom of the frying pot or on the frying grill, add hot water to the pot and soak the frying pot and grill for about 10 minutes before cleaning. Then, add some detergent and clean with a soft sponge.

  • The frying pot and grill are dishwasher safe.

  • Use a cleaning brush to remove food residue on the heating tubes if necessary. Chapter

Troubleshooting

Unable to push the frying pot

The white smoke comes out of the appliance.| High oil content in the food you are frying.| When frying high-fat food, the grease drips into the hot frying pot when being heated and it emits white smoke. It’s normal and won’t affect its performance or the cooking result.
The fresh potato strips are not evenly fried.| Wrong variety of potatoes; the potato strips haven’t been rinsed properly before cooking.| Use fresh waxy potatoes; rinse the potato strips properly to

remove starch on the outside of the strips.

The fried potato strips are not crispy.| The crispiness of potato strips depends on the amount of oil and water in them.| Make sure to dry the potato strips correctly before brushing oil. Cut the potato strips smaller. Brush a bit more oil for a crispier result.
