SAFETY INFORMATION

Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.

WARNING

• Turn off electricity at the main fuse box (or circuit breaker box) before beginning installation by removing the fuse (or switching off the circuit breaker).
• Be careful not to damage or cut the wire insulation (covering) during fixture installation. Do not permit wires to contact any surface having a sharp edge. To do so may damage or cut the wire insulation, which could cause serious injury or death from electric shock.
• LED electronics can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD)shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this hazard. To avoid damage, do not touch the LED module.

CAUTION

• All electrical connections must be in agreement with local codes, ordinances or the National Electric Code (NEC). Contact your municipal building department to learn about your local codes, permits, and/or inspections.
• Risk of fire — most dwellings built before 1985 have supply wire rated for 1400F/600C. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.

PREPARATION

Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and diagram on the previous page. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Pliers, Electric Drill, Safety Glasses, Ladder.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Important to know If you are not familiar with state and local electrical codes, it is recommended that you consult with a qualified electrician. Be sure to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network that covers your installation location.
2. Do not use in wet locations, use indoors only.
3. Non-replaceable LEDs.
4. Caution: LEDs emit bright light. Avoid looking directly into the light source for prolonged periods to avoid eye damage.
5. Not to be used with a dimming circuit or any other electronically controlled switch.
6. The light can not be installed in a ceiling where thermal radiation is generated.

HARDWARE CONTENTS

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box.

1. Attach the two mounting screws (AA) to the holes on the outlet box, and thread them in part way: 2 to 3 turns only.
2. Slide the Ceiling pan {A) until it separates from the plastic shade (B). Pull out the Male connector from the Female connector.
3. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box, and thread them through the big hole of the ceiling pan (A). Attach the ceiling pan (A) to the outlet box by inserting two mounting screws (AA) heads into the keyholes, then slide the ceiling pan until it is locked in place.
4. Connect the black wire to the black (power) wire, the white wire to the white (neutral) wire with supplied wire connectors (BB). Tuck all wires into outlet box. Then secure the mounting screws tightly with a screwdriver (not included). Finally connect the Female Connector to the Male Connector.
5. Attach the main body (B) to the ceiling pan (A) by aligning studs and slots, then turn it clockwise until it is locked in place. Turn on the power at fuse or circuit box.

How to Connect Smart Life App?

• Make sure your mobile phone is connected to your Wi-Fi, and make sure your Bluetooth is on.

1. Download “Smart Life” App from Apple Store or Google Play Store.
2. Register and login your account (Only support email registration)
3. Connect Device
4. Auto Scan

  *  **A:** Click “Add Device” or “+” at the top right corner of the Home page.
  *  **B:** Click “Auto Scan”.
  *  **C:** To have the light fixture enter configuration mode, toggle the wall light switch on/off three times {ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON). The light fixture will begin to blink rapidly.
  *  **D:** Confirm the wifi account and password.
  *  **E:** Connecting 100% and Done.

SET UP AMAZON ECHO AND ENABLE SMART LIFE SKILL
Search “Amazon Alexa” in App Store or Google Play to install the App. We take App configuration as an example. Configuration through web and App are basically the same.

Control devices by voice commands
Now you can control your smart devices through Echo. You can use the following commands to control your devices (e.g., bedroom light):

• Alexa, turn on/off the bedroom light.
• Alexa set the bedroom light to 50 percent.
• Alexa, brighten/dim bedroom light.

• Yes, this smart Led ceiling light can also be controlled by switch and voice. You can control the light by using Alexa or Google Assistant.

Can I use Smart Wi-Fi lights with a dimmer?

• No, the Smart Wi-Fi lights have a built-in dimmer. You can dim the light using the “Smart Life” app or voice of Alexa and Google Home.

How long the smart ceiling light last?

• Our smart light brands come with a lifespan of 23-25 years.

Can I use smart Wi-Fi lights to schedule a specific color or brightness level?

• You can use Smart Scenes to set a scene with a specific color or brightness level for a device or group of devices,then use Automation to schedule the settings.

Can I control these smart ceiling lights with Alexa, Google and HomeKit?

• Our smart ceiling lights are compatible with Alexa and Google. They are not compatible with HomeKit. Because our switches are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled, you can control it with Alexa and Google without the need of a hub or additional device. For voice control, you will need to link your Smart Life account with Alexa and/or Google.

Why APP connection fail or the device doesn’t connect to the network?

1. Make sure the connecting Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz.
2. Make sure the Wi-Fi password that you enter is correct.
3. Make sure the internet connection speed is over 1 Om bps.
4. Mobile device requirement: iPhone 4S / ios 9.0 and above.

I have two hall lights that are controlled together with on/off switches on both ends. can I synch these so they’re both still together?

• You can group the two lights with “Smart Life” App, and then you can control the two lights simultaneously or separately.

Caution
Before cleaning the fixture, disconnect the power to the fix true by turning the breaker off or removing the fuse from the fuse box.
